My therapist's, physical and occupational, Noreen, Kim and Emily are outstanding. They work with the nursing staff and other departments as a team for my care and recovery. Before I left they assured me they would refund the co-pay they charged me. They didn't do that of course. I went to the Chicago Rush for my appointment but had to drop off my imaging CD at Munster. They told me it would take 10-15 minutes and left 45 minutes later. Morons work the front desk and that says something about the office! If you can get past them it might be good but they could care less at the front desk! The worst part is I had to listen to their stupid nonsense stories while they sat around doing nothing for something that my 10 year old can do in 5 minutes.

After years of pain and stiffness, he was the one to find my daughter's juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, through bloodwork. We have gone to 2 other orthopedic doctors prior to Brown and they all did xrays and threw her in physical therapy, never finding true reason to why she had the pain. He went above and beyond with her getting dx and we are forever grateful. Front desk ladies are wonderful. Mary was amazing with patient education and follow ups. After seeing how many xrays doc ordered, X-ray tech muttered "Jesus Christ" under her breath and seemed annoyed to do her job. I'm not looking for "good feels", I'm there for excellent care on my family's health.

This office is not always the friendliest place to come to, especially when you are dealing with…read morepain. The wait times have been very long- sometimes up to an hour wait. And the front desk is not very friendly. The doctors seem to be offering only surgery as an option, which I guess is understandable as that is what they are trained to do. However, it would have been good to offer physical therapy as a way to possibly resolve my issues before just jumping to not one, but two surgeries, and then only to say that because of the surgeries my arthritis is now much much worse. Not happy with the outcome.
