I developed an infection he completely ignored--no blood work, no PICC line, no sense of concern whatsoever. His ego clearly outweighs his concern for patient care. The way he talks down to hospital staff is just another reflection of his arrogance. I've been fighting this infection for nearly a year, and have to have the entire knee replacement removed due to his negligence. Thankfully the doctors at Rush Hospital in Chicago are now cleaning up his mess. Avoid him at all costs.

Having previously been to North Point Orthopaedics this summer for care. When I was having a new…read moreissue, I decided to try another doctor in the facility. I thought I had pulled a muscle between my neck and shoulder, and that it would work itself out. As the weeks passed, I started to have significantly less pain, but occasional tingling and numbness, which concerned me. I decided to get it looked at sooner rather than later. So I chose Dr. Nikhil Pandhi to schedule an appointment with. I was taken back shortly after arriving for my appointment. They did x-rays of my neck and shoulder. Dr. Pandhi came in and went over my x-rays with me, which were clear. He checked my range of motion. As well as if any particular positions caused pain. Then he gave me the best case scenario on news, that it will heal on its own. He did not try to sell me on therapy or follow up appointments. He did however give me some exercises to do at home. He took his time and explained in detail my x-rays as well as when he was checking my range of motion and strength of that arm. I was so impressed with how thorough he was. He did say that if I had additional issues or the symptoms worsened, to come back in. And if anything comes up, I definitely will. That is two for two physicians that I've seen at this facility, that convinced me that I went to the best place for my care.

On Saturday, July 11, I was stung on my tongue by a bee in my back yard. My tongue started to swell…read moreand I knew I had to go to the ER ASAP. Very quickly after signing in, I was taken to a treatment room and then the ICU. It was a serious allergic reaction. I was quickly hooked up to several IVs and constantly monitored for the next 18 hours. The staff at Franciscan Hospital, Munster was exceptional, my treatments were outstanding. When I went in they said it was fine I was just pregnant but I was dehydrated and just wanted at the minimum an iv but instead they offered me a sprite .i sat there and asked if I could get ultrasound as well to check on baby and they said they didn't have an ultrasound person .
