First off this escape room company is in a very historic and beautiful building. I love to travel and do escape rooms when I do and came upon this one after having been disappointed by another in the area. What an awesome company! The owners, Summer and Lee, are beyond welcoming and hospitable, and the rest of the staff are very nice as well. I ended up starting off with Abduction, which was a great room, pretty hard on the solvability scale, but really fun. I came back a few weeks later and ended up doing all of the other 3: Last Will and Testament, Big Top Murders, and Crime in the Windy City. This past weekend I stopped in again and Crime had been changed to the new chapter, Al Capone's Revenge. Not many companies change their rooms much, so I love how they further the story with a new plot line, new twists, and new challenges/puzzles. I also love that they are privately owned and go out of their way to accommodate. The team that I was joined up with for Al Capone was the 3rd team to beat the room out of the 60 or so I was told had came through. Big Top Murders is fun, especially if you like a scare - they also can turn up or down the scare factor of that room and it is really fun. Last Will was like a large game of clue - also lots of fun! I have experienced nearly every room they offer and I must say, WOW. My 'son' and I originally began escape room experiences while on vacation at Carolina Beach. Since we live in Fayetteville, he researched the area finding the Xscape Factor. The first night we went, even though we were stuck with three dead weights, he and I had a good time. We returned later that week with three others and had a blast. Then he and I returned for another room,again it was a great experience. The owners are friendly and interested in the experiences of their clientele. The staff are some of the friendliest people I've met in a long time. The briefings are enjoyable and really prepare your the rooms. If i had one suggestion, it would be, when your time runs out you are given 5 extra minutes on the clock. We are looking forward to trying the last room when my son, J, returns from Colorado. The rooms are well done and the clues are just right in difficulty. After doing numerous Escape Rooms across the area, this was BY FAR the best experience yet. Just walking through the door, we were immediately welcomed into the "Family", and the Owners were absolutely AMAZING. They took the time to talk to us and explain to us their vision they had for their Family Business and their enthusiasm for this type of Family Entertainment. Their hard work and dedication definitely showed in the rooms as well because they were so very well put together and each one unlike the others. Unfortunately, I can't give away the awesome details we enjoyed most because of possibly throwing out hints to the people who have yet to visit, so you will definitely have to see it for yourselves!! We were a group of Paramedics, and Firefighters, so to meet the Owners and find out they are both Active and Retired Military, made the experience that much more enjoyable knowing we are all apart of the same Family. Absolutely LOVE this place, and would recommend it to anyone visiting Downtown Fayetteville!!! read more

We have now played two games at Xscape Factor and I couldn't be more thrilled (even though we didn't escape Al Capone's room). The building they are in is SO amazing - I absolutely love old buildings and they incorporated their business seamlessly in it. The escape games are super fun and we have had a great time bringing our employees there for team building exercises. In today's society where group/teams are the norm, it is great having a place around where we can do something fun together to help build skills such as communication, leadership, critical thinking, etc. Lee and Summer as owners are an amazing couple to work with. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! We had my daughter's 10th birthday party there and we all had a blast. The rooms hold 6-8 people, however, we had 9 it it was plenty of room. Janay (hope I spelled her name correctly) was extremely accommodating in helping us with the time and "room" for the party. She hung and "happy birthday" sign and suggested hiding a gift in the room too! To escape the room, it was definitely more difficult than I thought! I highly recommend going here for a birthday party or just anytime! My daughter couldn't stop talking about how much fun it was! read more

This is a perfect thing to do with grown children. Everyone enjoyed it. As time runs out ckues will issue from speaker so you get to solve room . My son did a room before that was rated harder than one we did. He thought our room was harder. So difficulty level mostly depends on how your brain works. Easy for some is hard for others. read more

Out of all the Escape Rooms I have done, this is, by far, one of the most organized, elaborate and enjoyable rooms to experience. The service is phenomenal and the overall vibe is true to he scenario. Kyra and Kelly Anne were excellent hosts and integral factors to the experience. read more

Stopped here with my 11 year old and his friend , on our way home from Raleigh. This was our first time to do an escape room and we chose the hardest room. Very challenging. Great friendly staff. Kid and adult appropriate. read more

Very fun, they put a lot of thought into the rooms and the details which makes the experience really engaging. I don't like that they can put other parties in with you if you don't pay for 8 people to do the room however. read more
