I came in here the other day looking to purchase several dollars of gas for the car, when once I…read moregot in, I was warmly greeted to other customers waiting in line. Well, I do thank this location, because this location had an employee that opened up a new line so that I could pass directly into a line so I wouldn't have to wait to pay for the service. Maybe seeing as I had cash and had the Gas Cash Card in hand (and handy), maybe triggered them to see that I didn't pose a major threat to making the transaction be easy for them to complete. They didn't ask or remind me that I had a Speedy Rewards account I could use at the register, but I remembered the card just after handing them the Gas Cash Card and they completed the transaction smoothly. The money was added and I got a receipt as I asked. I went out and pumped. I had no real problems there. The ground still looks a little old and predates the Speedway pumps, but they work. The fact that the Walmart across the street helps, makes this place a go-to place when I'm in Catskill. I had been here before, but it had been a long time and this time was different : they didn't realize that this time it would be the experience I'd be reviewing about.

You can pay with cash also; just give your money to the person in the attendant booth. There's also a few convenience store items and some car-related items inside. If you need help while pumping your gas, just honk your horn and they attendant will come out to help you.

One thing that sets it apart from other 24/7's in the area is the employees are super nice at this location and it always makes for a pleasant experience.

Just went into this shop to buy beer. My friend lost his ID and showed a picture of it, and she…read morewouldn't let him buy it. So I showed the cashier my physical ID and I would buy it. She refused to sell it to us because she said it's illegal for her to sell it to me after someone with no ID came up with it. My friend is 3 years older then me. The cashier is in the wrong and doesn't know the law because I can buy it since I have my ID and it's my responsibility on what happens with the beer afterwards. Honestly this place should train their staff better since their staff are incompetent and should know what the law truly is. Never will come this place and recommend my friends in the area to avoid this place going forward.

There are 3 competing gas stations/Marts in this area. The store here is probably the smallest of the 3 (the other 2 being a Mobil Xtra Mart and a Stewarts). But today when I stopped for gas, the gas here was several cents cheaper than both of the others. Be aware, though, that the cheapest price on the sign is for cash. If you pay by credit card, it is slightly more. This time, that was 2 cents a gallon more, but that was still cheaper than the other 2 stations.

So when I got a trip that came to Abeel St Kingston (nearby) just the other day and saw my gas gauge, I knew it was time! I've been planning to get gas and write a review from a nearby store, when I came in, but chose this place that day anyway. The entrance to this store is a bit thin. To veer into the place, there was a car coming out. I ended up clipping the curb with my front tire. Then with my gas on my passenger side, I pulled up to the spot near the door making the entry easy. There was a car directly in front of me (who later backed up to pull out), and so there I stopped - close to the pump. I thought my decision was right. The pumps had no problems with my GasBuddy card - and I seamlessly took care of the pay-at-the-pump transaction. I inserted the card and typed my Driver ID (like a PIN), pumped and was able to take care of the transaction. However, just as I was about to exit, some weirdo decided to pull up so far into the pumping area that I thought they were about to hit me. My first thought was to move backward, but when I realized there's almost no space backing up, (with another car being possible there), I knew I had to veer someway around them after giving them a loud and long horn-beep. I moved around them easily, until the end. I heard a loud "crunch" (nothing happened to either car) and I noticed he continued to pull through and out. I don't think I'll be coming here again. I know I had come here in the past without problems, but now I've shed a different light on this place. This annoying other a**whole really changed my perspective on how this place is seen in my eyes. Please give us a little more space to move around your location.

They have just about everything you need if you're in a pinch; pricing is reasonable and better than driving all the way to Walmart in Glenmont. If you need some Independence Day decorations they have a decent selection at the moment. Staff were friendly, it wasn't too busy when we stopped in so service was actually great. We will be back!

Although it's taken me quite a while to write a review of this place after a rather lengthy history…read moreof gas fill-ups here, though I thought I could get around filling up at a Citgo with my current car at first, when I desperately needed gas on New Years Eve and saw the sun setting near Staples Plaza (near Burlington Coat Factory in the former Caldor parking lot), I knew I had to reach out and fill up here. First of all: I still can't believe that this place still calls themselves "Citgo Caldor Plaza". Caldor has been closed since well before 1997 yet their receipts still name themselves after this plaza. Caldor went bankrupt and this plaza turned into a combined Burling Coat Factory & Dollar Tree location. The biggest thing now near this plaza (and sitting closer to this Citgo) is the Staples and Jo-Ann Fabrics location which does even better business. When I came here on the close of the afternoon on New Years Eve, it was drawing upon negative temperature readings. I felt cold. I mean, I had a jacket and pair of gloves, but the whole experience just wasn't like something I would have wanted in a million years. I had my GasBuddy card on me, so paying for gas was quick and easy and even better, knowing I'd be saving money with the transaction always made for a plus on the experience. I'm just sorry I couldn't have pumped more gas than I could. The pump stopped at $18.50, and so did I. I almost ran off without grabbing my receipt, but that was to be expected seeing the temperatures over the last couple days after this fill-up (I knew I'd have a receipt in my GasBuddy Wallet account, but receipts with this are always a great reminder for what I'd need to remember about when it came time for GasBuddy to withdraw from my bank.) I see a fair amount of people pulling up to these pumps, filling and driving away. I sometimes come here, and although most-often I end up having to pay with cash inside, when I do come with GasBuddy card in hand, I know I'm better off using the "pay-at-the-pump" method, so I'm glad it was working that day. I even sometimes spot other rideshare drivers showing up from "parking" in this gas station at times, so I know I'm in line with most other drivers in this respect. I won't get into history that much, but I do remember when I was a kid years ago, this was the only place where kids would get tootsie-roll samples that they no longer hand out. Now I do wish they'd return when I sometimes need a "pick-me-up". But then again, find me elsewhere for saving purchases on gas prices nearby at such stations called Speedway and Shell which tend to impress me more.

They stock all the essentials you'd expect to find in a convenience store with a gas station attached. Coffee, cold beverages, snacks, lotto tickets, phone chargers and plenty of grocery items. Their prices are a bit steep, but you're paying for convenience I guess. The store is a bit dated, as is the gas station, but it certainly serves it's purpose. The gas station and parking area are well lit at night which is a plus.
