Customer service was horrible on the first go around. I saw the art of one of the artists and came back because it was good. My tattoo is horrible. There is no saturation, there are breaks in the outline and just horrible. I have had people look at my friends and mine - by the same artist and literally cringe in disbelief. I am allowed on free touch up. It can be done at the "convenience" of the artist. I am being told M-W only. I called today (Wednesday) to get it fixed and he was very rude. At this point I am stuck with most likely paying another $300 to get it covered up. read more

I went in for my "free touch up" but was told I would need to pay $50 for it at least. My friend was with me also for her free touch up because her tattoo was a little faded. The tattoo artist said "Yea that's what tattoos do, fade". Yes, but you promise free touch ups for this exact reason? Ridiculous. We also called TWICE over the phone and came in very respectful and just ready to do the tattoo. We traveled out of our way to this mid tattoo shop with smug artists who promise one thing and do another later. We didn't demand to get a touch up for free out of nowhere, we were told this was a viable option and then scoffed at in person over it. Unprofessional, money grubbing liars here! read more

I went here about 2 weeks ago to get my navel piercing. They charged my card first before even piercing me, which was sketchy and I should have walked away. But because I really wanted to get this done, I paid and met with the piercer. He was an older male who was extremely rude. When i asked him would he be piercing me while standing or laying down, he yelled at me saying "let me do my job". At this point, I have already paid so I continued going with it. He did not explain anything to me or allow me to pick a jewelry piece i liked. Infact, he ended up piercing me with a captive bead ring, something I definitely did not want on my navel. When he was done, he gave me lubricant jelly and told me to put it on twice a day. The next day i noticed that the swelling had gone down, however, the piercing did not appear to be centered well. So I went back to the shop to ask for an alternative solution. Everyone in the shop said it was centered that it was my eyes that weren't. Mind you, I had already showed my piercing to my family and friend who did verify that it was not centered. When I said I am not happy with the centering, the piercer got upset and said to just remove the piercing if I wasn't satisfied. once again, his tone was rude and he did not care to hear my concerns. He said once it heals after taking it out, I could just come back for a free piercing. Why would I ever want to come back with this bad service?!? A few days later, I went to a different piercer who had good reviews. She was shocked that a captive bead ring was used as it was a 90s method. She explained the cons in terms of healing when using that type of jewelry, especially since it was already migrating. She did verify it was slightly off centered and that there is nothing she can do besides to remove it, let it heal and then re-pierce. I did not want that option, hence, got the jewelry changed to a regular belly ring. Since the piercer used a captive bead initially, he had gone too deep making regular jewelries not fit. The second piercer had to custom make a jewelry to fit. I even paid half of what I paid for the initial piercing. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. This place (Fist City Tattoo) has literally went to absolute s.it. I use to come here and get my tattoos done, however after this last visit, screw all of you. I came here at 11 and sat in the parking lot waiting because I wanted to be first for a "walk-in" tattoo. After they open at 12, I go in and told that some of the artist hadn't shown up yet. So I waited an additional 30 minutes in the lobby. This "artist " comes out asking me what I wanted done and I showed him a picture of a rose with a name and a clock. He laughs and says "yeah that's not a walk-in tattoo it'll take me over 2 hours to draw that". Mind you, I came here over a week ago and said I wanted this done and they told me try to find something you like and come back. What happened to telling the artist who then freestyles a design? Isn't that what I'm paying for as part of your time? Anyways, I just laugh and walk off saying screw this place. Went up the road to Xtreme ink and showed them the exact thing I wanted. Took the artist 20 minutes to draw and another 10 to get hisself together. Shout out to Stephon and his father at Xtreme Ink. And you better believe, I paid d.mn well for it too. read more

HORRIBLE!!!!!! older guy that does the piercings completely screwed up my snake bite . completely crooked despite me not moving (had done before so ik the feeling). my piercing was bleed uncontrollably at 1am for no reason at all! i called the shop trying to explain what happened the guy was telling me he cant do anything bc i took the piercing out??!!!!!!!! SIR IT WAS NON STOP BLEEDING WHAT WOULD YOU DO???!!! he says put salt on it. sir i rinsed with distilled water and sea salt. IT DIDNT HELP. he continued to hang up the phone and not respond to my questions when i asked what happened the day i got it pierced!!! never again! read more

My daughter went to this establishment twice, the first time was to get her tongue piercing done which went fine and she felt comfortable with going back to get her Monroe done on the other side of her face. Now she is 18 and should have spoken up at the time of the piercing about the fact that nothing was being opened in front of her. I personally would have said my peace and walked out but she is 18 and was excited to do something like this without needing a parent. They did not go over after care nor did they give any other instructions! Luckily she knew what to do from when she had the first one done when she was 16. She started having issues with the piercing and went by the shop and it was closed so she went to FatKats and had them look at it. To which she was told if it wasn't taken out soon she would have to go to the hospital, again she went to Xtreme and again they were closed but the owner was there. She tried to let him know what was going on and he brushed her off and told her to talk with the guy who pierced her!!! Very unprofessional!!! When she finally got to speak with the guy he was very rude and unprofessional so she took it to Facebook and the response she got was them trying to place all blame on her instead of handling a bad review correctly they chose to attack her. And I looked on the Better Business Bureau and they are not registered with them which is a little sketchy. ((EDIT)) check out Fist City tattoos if you want some nice ink! dude, i'm in literal disbelief of the way the "shop manager" just spoke to me over the phone. originally called to discuss a cover up they'd done (not very well) on my cousin, politely asked for the manager to have him laugh and literally tell me i couldn't speak to one. skip forward like 5 minutes & this man is straight arguing about me asking for the manager and refuses to work with me on getting the ink fixed up. this is all after he told my cousin he wouldn't fix her up unless she brought her "hot friend" back with her. totally unprofessional environment and i wish i could tell everybody before they get any work here. read more

OMG! What a horror story..first time nose piercing. The man barely spoke to me.. rushed me to hurry and pay. Finally brought me back & used a piece of plywood no clamp no regular normal practice like in other shops. Was SO ROUGH with my FACE!! He finally rammed it thru my nose...told me to use salt water n that's it..said I can change it in 1 week. 2 weeks later went to Doc of Rock Ocala (thank god for them!!) n they confirmed it was infected with a keloid on the inside n weird placement and angle. They NEVER educated me (which I found out they are supposed to do so verbally n in writing) about saline solution and so forth... honestly they shouldn't be piercing people especially naive newbies like myself. I'm so grateful the keloid is on the inside and that I went to another place for proper education on aftercare and present infection control before it was too late. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ! ! ! The guy that does the piercing has a very bad attitude, tried to ask him a questions on his experience level, he got upset, came at me with a sharpie to mark my ear, and I asked if that was safe to do, he got upset, then , I tried to show him were exactly I wanted my piercing since there are many different areas of the inner cartilage to pierce, he told me there is only one spot, then I new he didn't know what he was doing, he had to go to the computer to see a picture. You should be able to ask as many questions as you need, and a true professional is happy to answer them. read more

My husband and mother in law went in to get tattoos. I inquired about the artists' portfolios and I was told to "look on Facebook." Well I did and the tattoos were not identified by artist and when I continued to ask questions I was told I was "messing with everyone else's tattoos." My mother in law wanted a small butterfly on her ankle and when she asked them to draw it up so she could see it they turned her away and said they did not want to do her tattoo, to go find another artist. Was tattooed by someone who (we were told in the shop at a later date) had faked his portfolio and completely messed up my tattoo(tattooed something completely different than the agreed upon design). Was charged to have it fixed, and it still is sub par. Will be going elsewhere to have it covered. read more
