She was very personable and friendly, but more importantly, she was very gentle and considerate around my teeth and very thorough. She spent alot of time and effort ensuring everything was addressed and cleaned. The before and after photos that she took showed an enormous improvement. Dr Redd was very friendly and professional. And less than 3 days after I walked out with this impression, the reparation they made broke off (they said it would last at least a month, so I would have time to attend a wedding out of town and come back for the permanent solution....) I don't remember even if someone said hello before making me swear on paper that I had insurance and that I have means to pay if the insurance don't cover the work. Guess that's how they welcome new clients? My hygienist got me ready, did not look at my chipped tooth, did not prepare the visit of the dentist. She only sat me on a chair in a little room which looked like an open locker to another room. It felt like I wasn't in an office, but rather I was a side job. Dr Mousavi was my dentist. She gave me an automatic soft, moist handshake. I felt like she was thinking of something else. She looked at my teeth and "noted" that some fillings that were done years before were not done very well and that she would have done them better. Then she asked me what the problem was (?) and I pointed out that half one tooth went missing (I had a root canal done 7 years ago and no crown), She said she would do a temporary reparation that would last more than a month, and that I should take an appointment for a crown during this time. Took her less than an hour to do the reparation and I was out of the room. And as mentioned, it didn't last a month. I recommend you stay away from this place. When if came off I went somewhere else (crescent heights dental clinic) to get a temporary reparation and it was done and it lasted until I got a crown, a couple months later.

Sure, maybe I'm a bit scared when the hygienist doesn't quite know how to use the tools, and maybe it seems a bit weird that the dentist switches between patients (he keeps two going at a time, back to back behind a thin wall), but this place is fun! The hygienists play their iPods over the sound system and I have to laugh when I'm asked a question while my gums are poked or my mouth is held open. Overall it's an interesting place. The work that the dentist has done on me is good, it's just a little more casual of an atmosphere than I'm used to in a dentist's office.
