If you're in the same mindset, I can assure you it's not a scam; Luis really is every bit as good as everyone says. From professional email communications to one on one meetings to go over our preferences and bridal party pronounciations, we felt we were in excellent hands. Luis took the time to delve into the nitty gritty - did we want a game to give away centerpieces? How could we ensure the most people would be in the tent for the toasts? On the big day, my concerns about our guests not hitting the dance floor were proven ridiculous; people started boogeying way before we had scheduled and stayed pumped right up until the final song ("Closing Time" by Semisonic, naturally). We recently hired Xtreme Soundz DJ for our daughter's wedding held at Lakeview Pavilion in Foxboro Ma. Luis provided us with an outstanding evening of fun and music. He is very professional and personable. He worked well with Kirsten in her choice of music selections, and accommodations during the evening. We especially liked the way he constantly paced the music in order to keep the maximum number of guests on the dance floor at all times. As master of ceremonies Luis was excellent. Luis is so professional and amazing to work with! We recently used Xtreme Soundz for our wedding photo booth and we are SO glad that we did! Luis and his team have a state of the art photobooth that almost looks like an iphone, but is mirrored. It was so easy to see yourself and make sure that you were in the camera lens. They provided fun props for our guests to use and everyone had a blast using the photo booth. It was a great take home gift for our guests to go home with and my husband and I also received a copy of all the photos taken! Luis is the absolute best DJ. He went above and beyond for our wedding at kirkbrae country club on July 23, 2017. The uplighting, the monogram, the tv and instagram hashtags were all so perfect. All of our guests were on the dance floor with us all night long. A couple of our family members are already planning on using him for their wedding since he does such a great job!! You don't have to look any further! Luis has to be the best wedding DJ in Rhode Island/Southeastern Massachusetts! His prices are reasonable and his set up is state-of-the-art. From the moment we met him, we knew we wanted Luis as our DJ for our wedding. He was so friendly and easy to work with and answered all of my questions in a reasonable amount of time. Luis also was even able to accommodate a last minute request for a song that I emailed him about the night before our wedding! On our big day, Luis and his wife Vanessa were awesome. They kept the dance floor full the entire time. In fact, people were starting to dance during dinner hour and everyone was nervous they'd knock over our cake that was waiting to be cut! There was not one break in the music and the songs flowed perfectly and matched what was going on; jazz music and standards for dinner, fun cake cutting music ("Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch"), a special parents song, and dance music for the rest of the night. It was great that Luis took the time before the wedding to get a sense of the type of music we like, right down to requesting a "top 20 must play song list". He also was also able to "live Instagram" our wedding as people posted pictures with our wedding hashtag and he also displayed a slideshow of photos of myself and my husband when we were younger. While we didn't choose this option, Luis can record you saying your vows and have that playing while your first dance is going on, which I think is a sweet touch. There are no words sufficient enough to express how amazing Luis was for our ceremony and reception at Crowne Plaza, and how thankful we were for his guidance. When we had trouble choosing songs for different parts of the reception his recommendations (and multiple of them) were always exactly what we were looking for! He kept the entire day running smoothly, coordinating with our venue and other vendors the entire time. I never realized how much work and effort a DJ should be investing in YOUR day! We used his uplighting as well and it truly set the ambiance throughout the tent. The little surprise touches he adds throughout the night and even after the day are what set him above the rest!
