Absolutely horrible. Think twice before hiring them totally unreliable and horrible work. I hired them to change and move 4 electric panels. Their work is not professional and not up to code. All the wiring for the circuits are crossed with some items not working, wires exposed and when they ran the wires they ran them over the joint so you can't even close up the walls now. They drilled 5" holes through all my supporting beams leaving them structurally unsafe and left all my wiring a big mess, violations everywhere and nothing done to code and no reply to any of my calls or messages. Do not trust them and avoid at all cost. Will be suing them in court. read more

I would highly recommend "Xtreme Wiring" and Tommy the electrician. I wanted to install 240v 30a circuits in my house and I knew exactly what needs to be done. I found Tommy through Yelp and got reasonable quotes for the work needs to be done. He came on time and the project took about two hours. He was very communicative and was very knowledgeable. The work came out very neat and I was more than satisfied with the clean look of the installation. He also didn't cut corner and followed electrical codes to ensure maximal electrical safety. He used 10 gauge wire, appropriate breaker, flexible metal tubing inside EMT for extra protection, and grounded every metal outlets for added safety. He cleaned the site before he left and overall I would like to praise highly for his professional workmanship. read more

I was out of town when my brother, who was staying in my coop realized that the electric suddenly went off in the living room. We tried the breaker and that didn't work. We called SO MANY places who either never got back to me and/or couldn't see me for weeks. Tommy from Xtreme Wiring was responsive and quick to diagnose the problem. He's not cheap! But he's professional, reliable and explains the issue fully so I understood what the problem was. He was able to fix the problem promptly we have had no issues since. Would definitely recommend. What can I say other than AMAZING in every way. Even under extenuating circumstances Tommy & his crew showed up as promised on time and professional. Tommy gave me an amazing price & stuck to his price even though the job ended up needing two guys to complete & it taking a full days work. I was so impressed that I gave the two guys a nice tip because they completed everything so nicely. Cleaned up & even moved my heavy table & centered it under the chandelier. We are so lucky to have found Xtreme Wiring! They are friendly, talented and professional, which had not been our previous experience with other electrician companies and contractors. Having been stood up by a couple local electricians who came by to see the scope of work and never came back, I searched Yelp for an electrician and Xtreme Wiring came up. They had great reviews and responded very quickly. Tommy, the business owner, and Spiro came by in the late afternoon after finishing another job. We liked them right away because they were so friendly and diligent. They even quickly finished something that one of the previous electricians had left unfinished a month ago and then stopped responding to us. Working with Xtreme was exactly what one would expect from a professional business. The proposal/invoice was precise and clear, even breaking down the total into percentages and when due. When they came back early the next day, they had already picked up all the supplies, and got to work quickly. By the end of the day they had not only finished all the work, but while trying to figure out why one light wouldn't work, they climbed up into the attic/crawl space, and discovered that the 50 year old wiring in our house had been overheating, melting and even burning some of the surrounding wood in one spot. So basically they saved our house and maybe even us! Therefore we are very happy to be able to work with them again to replace the old wires. They also cleaned and swept up everything when they were done; kept up clear communication throughout; paid attention to the details; and were always friendly and calm. A great experience! Five stars isn't enough to rate the marvelous experience I had with Tommy and Xtreme Wiring today. If you're deciding on electrician, end your search here because you just found the best. As a young, single female managing a rental property alone, I am very used to people trying to up-charge me for services but Xtreme wiring did the complete opposite. While other electricians gave me quotes, Tommy responded by telling me he didn't want to take my money for something I could do simply with a part that costs less than $10. It is unfortunately too rare that you encounter genuinely nice people and today, as I sat in a airport where my flight was cancelled trying to get back to NYC to teach high school kids tomorrow, Xtreme wiring helped me instead of cheating me and unknowingly truly brightened my day. Tommy even gave me his number and email and offered to walk me through putting the part on the breaker after providing pictures of the part and videos of how to do it. So five stars is literally the very least with which I can repay Xtreme wiring for their benevolent service. I look forward to calling them in the future and recommending them to others. read more

I reached out to Xtreme Wiring to fix a job a previous contractor botched pretty badly. It was a Saturday morning when I reached out to him and by Sunday afternoon, he was at the property working on the project. Without getting into too many details, Tommy and his partner did a fantastic job diagnosing and fixing the many issues I had. It was obvious he's experienced and knew exactly what to look for. He was also very helpful in explaining what the previous contractor did wrong and what he will be doing to correct it. If you want the job done right by a true pro, give these guys a call. I had left my contact info for a job on 9/24/2022, 5:30 PM and it was not until 9/26/2022, 12:22 PM that he replied. He then stated that he could come over to look at the job on 9/27/22 but I was only available in the morning. He called me and stated that he could not make it before lunch and asked if we could set up an appointment for 9-11am on Wednesday 9/28/22 which I said was fine. The first job was to check con edison meter because the premise was not getting full power. Thomas checked the wires and said it's con edison issue and he can call con edison . So I contacted him number of times and he said he called. I called Con edison today and con edison said that when the electrician called the electrician sent his helper and there is no full power. Con edison said there is full power and its electrician issues. The electrician did not explain correctly to con edison about this issue. Con edison said to me have the electrician call to make a new ticket. While this issue was happening . I had emergency in another building. It's was simply breaker issues for the circuit box. I called this company out of desperation..he did sent a worker but the guy is under skilled. He didn't think it was the breaker. He left without making any repairs. I was able to get handy man to make the simple repair. Thomas seems like nice guy but it's seems his overwhelmed or something. read more

I'm so glad I found Xtreme Wiring on yelp. I was watching tv on Saturday afternoon when all the power in my room went out. I troubleshooted the breaker box but when the breaker wouldn't stay on, I knew I needed a professional. Tommy (the owner) responded to my inquiry within minutes and said he would be able to stop by Saturday night. Tommy came by at the time he said he would and changed my breaker only to figure out that there was a short in my wall. Since it was already late at night, I opted to have the service done Monday morning. Bright and early, Xtreme Wiring was outside and waiting at the appointment time they promised. After assessing the situation and trying multiple scenarios, they presented me with options on how I can fix the problem. I went with the easiest option that didn't involve removing my walls. My house has complicated wiring but Xtreme Wiring was able to figure it out and fix my issue in half the quoted time.
