Who doesn't want to have churros, all the time, but especially when you're in Spain!? again I lucked out by staying right across the street from this dream of a churros provider! Most of the time there's a line, but it moves quickly. There's no real seating. The staff are fluent in English. There are multiple varieties of churros: ranging from the traditional to the chocolate covered, the larger kind which are stuffed to a different sorts of creams like kinder, pistachio, and chocolate. I opted for the chocolate covered churro with pistachio cream. Although I had wished it would be warmer it was still delicious. I don't think you can go wrong here.

    Not much of a line!

I was fortunate to come here when the line was short at around 5pm. The variety is easy to see in the display case and the special of 6 for 4.95 euro plus chocolate is a deal! I added the Nutella filled since many helpers have raved about it. Paying cash made the lady very happy and I asked if I could sit in one of the four seats inside and she liked that too! Offered me a spoon and napkins as well. Ah, too much for one person to eat; at least for someone watching their cholesterol and weight! The cup of chocolate is so generous that it would be good to take home across the pond! My Nutella filled was good and even better dipped in the chocolate. Sinful right? I wish I had a cup of coffee because it's a perfect compliment to cut the churros and chocolate richness. The churros are crispy and not oily. The chocolate is not sweet at all and not intense with dark chocolate as was the ones I had earlier in the day elsewhere. Really lovely mid day sweet on a fantastic Labour Day holiday. I hope that they all get an extra day off for working today.

If you're in Barcelona and you love your sweets, you gotta try this place! One of the best churros I've ever tasted in my LIFE! I've had some pretty awful ones in Barcelona as well but this place is GOOD! Service check Ambiance - quaint and easy to order and see what you're getting! I got the pistachio, dulce de leche, and the traditional and no complaints on any one of those - pistachio was my favorite though.

I really enjoyed my churros from here. I came in the fall in November and there were super long lines going up the block, but my wait was around 20 minutes. I got the typical tourist order of 6 churros and the hot chocolate dip. The churros were warm and crunchy and the dip was not too sweet! I wish I had more churros. Not much seating inside, more of a to go spot

So so disappointing. Our churros were cold and chewy. There isn't much else to say. We saw a long line and that could be a hit or a miss and this was definitely a Miss. I'm not sure if it's popular with locals or tourists and WHY!?!?!, but as much as we wanted a hot and crispy churro, all we got was a soggy and cold clump of dough.

If there is such a thing, this is truly a life changing churro. Imagine if you will a hot churro without the sugar with a slight hint of salt in the middle which elevates the cup of molten chocolate for dipping you get with one of their packages. I believe it was 6/12 or 50pcs...6 was indulgent enough for us. 50 would have put me in hog heaven!!!

This Xurreria (churreria) is the best! I dream of going back. Tons of vegan options that are delicious too. I tried a stuffed churro with chocolate that was dreamy. I also tried Pastiset ( traditional Catalan pastry stuffed with sweet fillings, the one here was with some kind of pumpkin jam) and a Pestinyos D'anis which was a pastry with anise seeds. They were both super flaky, crispy, light and delicious. This is a small place to take deliciousness to go but a must stop.

Tiny storefront you may miss walking by unless there is a long line, which there usually is! This take-away had vegan churros ! Heavenly warm cinnamon churro with melty chocolate creme interior. I'm not one to eat fried anything but I would go back and eat another one!

We had the dulce de leche-filled churro and their hot chocolate sauce. It was just OK... reasonably thick and soft in the inside, while not crispy enough on the outside. I was expecting more.... I was more impressed with their hot chocolate sauce; I ended up drinking it straight up!

One of my favorite dessert experiences ever. Total serendipity as somehow in two trips to Barcelona nobody and no guide book told me about this very popular place with locals. Don't be intimidated by the line, instead make sure you're ready to order. Don't deny yourself anything that looks good, because it's ALL good. I've never had such delicious churros. They come with a hot cup of thick creamy hot chocolate to dip and dunk and the churros are immediately fresh and hot. The workers are very efficient, quick, and yet friendly. Notice how many YELP reviews use the word, best, in their descriptions of Xurreria Trebol. I ordered more than I could eat on a chilly evening, we sat at the nearby park and then we had the leftovers on the flight back home. This place is so good I actually considered asking them to turn the plane back around so I could go get some more. I feel sad that there are people in this world who haven't had churros from Xurreria Trebol.

When in Spain, get some churros. While there's better options in Madrid and Seville, this is one of the popular spots for Barcelona. These churros have a mix of traditional and non-traditional churros. I ordered the Crema-filled Churro (€2.95) and 3 traditional plain ones, which were priced by weight. I honestly enjoyed both version in its own way. The cream-filled one is definitely heavier, but the filling gave it a nice flavor. The traditional ones were so airy and light --perfect little dessert on the go!

Amazing churros! Never had them in Spain with the hot chocolate and they were so delicious! Found this place near where we are staying and it was divine. There is a huge selection of churros and they have churro specials. You can get 6 churros and a small hot chocolate for under 5€!! It was sufficient to share with another person and they hit the spot right after dinner! The place has limited seating; there are only 4 stools and a small counter so not ideal for a large group unless you do take-away. Enjoy!

The most savory + fluffy churros I have ever had. Please do yourself a favor and try these out. I tried the nutella filled churrors, the nutella filled + chocolate covered churros, and a classic cup of chocolate and the smaller churros. The nutella filled churros were by far my favorite. Whenever I am back in Barcelona, this is one of the first places I am heading to!

It happened to Jamie W and me when we were strolling around the Sagrada Família when we saw the locals and tourists swarming around this shop. Part of the attraction was the chocolate replica of the Sagrada Família in the front window, an impressive sculptural feat for sure (Photo 8). Once you've finished staring at it, your head will turn to all the packaged confections on display. Beyond the chocolate is the local specialty, turron, a chewy delight made of honey, sugar, egg whites, and toasted almonds. It comes in soft and hard forms, and contrary to rumor, I prefer soft. There are other candies that are probably worth sampling, but even I have my limits. Just get your chocolate fix and move along. People are waiting. RELATED - Exploring Barcelona? Usually eaten around…read moreChristmas, it is made of almonds, sugar, honey and egg whites and shaped into blocks of varying lengths. The company specializes in Agramunt turron, named after its city of origin. It is so treasured that it has protected status from the Spanish government. With the city located inside Catalonia, Torrons Vicens has shops located across the region with the largest concentration in Barcelona. This branch is located right across from the Sagrada Família. One of the tour guides recommended this shop for local souvenirs to take back home. When I visited the Sagrada Família a few days later, I also came back here to shop for said delicacies. I was impressed with the selection of nougats as they came in all different flavors and textures. The traditional circular-shaped nougat is sold along with hard- and soft- versions of the brick-shaped nougats. I was particularly attracted to the "natura" line, which is a collaboration between Vicens and Albert Adrià (former pastry chef of El Bulli and now the chef-owner of the El Barri restaurant group [Tickets, Enigma]). They sold small and large versions of their blocks. With the small blocks being €5 and the large blocks 5 for €55 I bought a combination of blocks with the intention of the small blocks as gifts for friends and the large blocks to share with family. - The small blocks had more non-traditional flavors such as rice pudding, curry and strawberry and rosemary truffle. I handed those at a Yelp Elite event the next week and said treats were appreciated. - The larger blocks had more conventional flavors such as toasted corn and lime truffle, pumpkin seeds, vermouth and bread and salt. Every flavor I brought back was appreciated save for vermouth as the recipient of the vermouth chocolate did not appreciate the strong alcoholic content. They also sold samples of their drinking chocolate which is more of an accompaniment to churros than an actual hot chocolate. Keep this in mind. Still dense and kept me warm on a cool day in early March. Many thanks to the tour guide Jessie at Runner Bean for the recommendation! I enjoyed this chocolate and I look forward to having this again should I ever find myself back here.

We had both treats heated up... although they weren't actually hot lol. The cinnamon roll was on par with others I've had, maybe even slightly drier but the frosting was amazing and I still enjoyed it a lot. The rookie was quite decadent and the inside was an almost cake texture? Still quite tasty but I think both would've knocked it out of the park if they were actually hot and ooey gooey.
