I have been getting my hair cut by Elizabeth since August and I can't tell you how happy I am to have walked into the barbershop. By luck my previous appointment was cancelled and her client hadn't shown up. After having her cut my hair the first time I have absolutely loved having my hair short. I was looking around for a barbershop for my boyfriend because all he's ever known is Supercuts. I narrowed it down to two, this place and another that was a lot more expensive. (But hey - if it means walking out with a better hair cut, I'll pay for it.) I'm not going to say the name of the other place, but based off the reviews it seems like a lot of people were pushing some kind of membership... so I decided to take a chance with this place instead. I had some issues with the website when I booked the appointment, so I went to Yelp instead... but realized it was being booked under my name instead of my boyfriend's, and I noticed it was already after hours so I got slightly frustrated because that meant I had to call in the morning to sort it out - but after about five minutes of submitting the request, I got a call from Phil to confirm the appointment! Talk about top notch customer service! My boyfriend absolutely loved it here. He liked the interaction with Phil, the cleanliness of the place, the location, the hair wash and of course the cut and style. My boyfriend texted me, "This was amazing. I'm trying to grow out my hair as a fast as I can so I can get another hair cut." For a basic haircut I believe my boyfriend paid about $45.00 (includes the $10.00 tip he gave.) My 11 year old son had his hair cut. He wanted the man bun he's been seeing everywhere. Phil cut his hair. Was super friendly. Amazing with my son. Gave us a consultation. Told us what worked best for his face shape and really delivered. He did a hair style that he can wear multiple ways. So he's excited to try different styles. I preferred how he did the down style but my son is obsessed with his man bun so I havnt got a picture of it down. I don't think pictures do it justice. My normal barbershop is closed on Sundays and I needed a haircut before work tomorrow so I decided to try out this place. I called ahead and got an appointment with Vanessa (Shiny). Before she started she asked a few questions on how I like to style my hair and how I usually get it cut (I get a skin fade on the sides with a comb over on top). During the cut I could tell she's an absolute protectionist as she took her time with every cut and made sure that every hair was even. Not only are her cutting skills top notch but her personality is on point for what you look for in a barbershop. She's earned a life time customer out of me for sure. I've been here 3 times with very mixed results. My first barber did a great job on my hair and beard, but he moved away. Instead I saw Shiny who did a good job my hair, but a subsequent trip completely ruined my beard. I'd been growing it out for a good 8 months and just wanted the shape trimmed a bit. She cut it down to less than 3/4". Its a real bummer as its the first time I've grown it that long, especially considering the price I paid. She does great haircuts but I wish I had my beard back. Terrible. I booked and confirmed an appt for my husband. He arrived on time, text and called to notify them he had arrived per the sign on the door. No answer back to either. I sent them his number to call him in when he was ready. He sat in the car for 30 minutes waiting for his stylist as he saw her sit in her chair. Once she realized he was there for her she refused him because she now didn't have time. What a bummer. I finally talked him into going. The reviews were great. Its close to home.
