The food on everyone's plate looked like it all came from the same dirty deep fryer, yuck! I told the server, she offer to comp the spuds, but I choked down 2/4 as I didn't want to wait another 35 mins for anything else deep fried, so I offered half. Deal. All electronics worked without any problems, the sheets and towels were clean as well. The shower's water pressure was pretty bad, but how can it not be for being in the middle of the mountain. We never got our wireless to work either, but to be honest, it was nice not reading emails and facebook for 2 days! The windy dirt road leading up to the resort was something this city girl was not used to, and the lack of signs for the resort was a little disconcerting as well. But once you get there, the main office where you check in is conveniently located right behind the stone gates where you first enter the resort. The view of the mountain and the lake is magnificent, the food catered at the wedding was delicious, and the activity center was fully equipped with badminton, ping pong, swings, kids play house, bocce ball, soccer, basketball.. etc. Overall, great vacation at a great resort. Highly recommended if you want to get away from reality for a few days.

It is a meticulously maintained place, with scattered cabins surrounding a small lake and mountains. It feels private, safe, and secluded. The campsite was gorgeous, too. We were looking what town to overnight as its our first time in these parts of the woods and took a chance on Prestige in Salmon Arm. Loved it! Our first time staying at a Prestige Resort and we will be checking for them more for our trips. Located on the water, check in was a breeze and has many shops around. Free parking. There's an outdoor hot tub, & an indoor/outdoor pool. As you hang out in the hot tub, there's a birds nest you can just got lost in watching. The gym is nicely sized and has some really nice expensive gym equipment. I met a local in the hot tub and she says the hotel sells memberships to the locals for the hotel amenities. Real cool! The hotel also has bikes for rent, games on the lawn, chairs to sunbathe and a quick walk to the docks. Our room was standard sized with 2 queen beds. It felt clean, and welcoming. I loved the bathroom! Standard room comes with a tub and a shower. Lovely luxury surprise. The beds were really comfortable. There's a mini fridge, coffee maker, ice bucket and microwave.
