Upon arrival, this place is decent enough except that the front desk guy told me to wait while he finished his paperwork. I know he was working on vendors & payment of goods, how?? Because his pricing & paperwork was in the open, on the counter & I had plenty of time to read it while I waited.
Up to the room --it was actually surprisingly clean & nice for a lower priced motel, that's how this review got the 2 stars. Beds comfy, air conditioner not too loud, was suitably impressed until I went to restaurant to order potato skins, an appetizer...waited 35 minutes!! Whaaaa??? The waitress was doing both lounge & dining room which are seperate sides of building, seperated by hall where you check in. Kudos to her, she really hustled her best, but the potato skins came late, over done, topping was sparse & tasteless. The food on everyone's plate looked like it all came from the same dirty deep fryer, yuck! I told the server, she offer to comp the spuds, but I choked down 2/4 as I didn't want to wait another 35 mins for anything else deep fried, so I offered half. Deal.
Loved the waitress & the room, not the front desk guy, or the cook/food.
