It's our 10th day on the road:…read more We've been hiking in mud and rain, sweating in gorgeous but hot sunshine, sitting and sleeping on trains and other public transportation. My last pair of clean underwear was two days ago and we haven't stayed in one place long enough to wash a pair or two out!! We are having a great time but DESPERATE to do laundry, Brights Launderette was literally a "Bright" Spot in our travels. Helen is extremely helpful and nice - she had change, helped show how the machines worked, both the washers and the dryers were quick and efficient and (if you're visiting from out of town) plenty of places near by to get a little bite of something to eat while you wait. If you want to stay at the launderette there's also plenty of places to sit and read. Finally, if you're from out of town and staying in Nottinghams town center it's a pleasant 15 minute walk (we used our luggage on wheels to transport the laundry) but I'm pretty sure buses go right by there too. Definitely recommend it.

Get all that boring iroining into a black bin bag and call them, They collect on a Mon, Wed, and fri and deliver 2 days later, so collect on a Mon drop off back to you on a Wed and so on. When it is collected the man has a scale that he hangs the bag on and he can tell you there and then how much it will cost. The first time I used them I felt it was so cheap I asked him to wait and got the rest of my ironing. It is delivered back to you in a celophane wrapper all hung on metal coat hangers and very well ironed. Never had any problems. It would make a great present to give to someone also.

Indigo denied all responsibility and were rude and dismissive both times I went in to complain. One star is too good for this place. AVOID at all costs.
