Updating my review after hearing more of the full picture of what happened. The company fell short because the on-site helper did not show up to the boat until 6:20pm (boat opened at 6, several of us were there at 6 and waiting in the pouring rain for 20 minutes) and there was generally poor communication / lack of clarity in the whole process. We also felt that given the weather conditions (this was the Saturday during Hurricane Helene) we should have been given the option of changing our boat to a different date or given a discounted rate. I now understand it's the coast guard's call, but I think the company should have enough knowledge of the boats to know whether they can handle such waters. Our boat was so rocky and wet it was nearly impossible to walk around without fear of falling / gripping the handrails, and there was even a flood on the lower level. However, what really took the icing on the cake was the owner's behavior. Once we made our experience known to Nancee and she directed us to Eric, owner of the boat (the Avalon), he was extremely dismissive and rude to my friend and co-host over the phone. He called her a liar because her experience did not 100% match with the contract-signer's experience (our other friend and co-host). He wasn't receptive to what she was saying and behaved in a shameful way for a man who has a family and owns a boat (!!!). Nancee, on the other hand, was apologetic and had a productive conversation with my friend on the phone, and even offered a discount for us if we were to ever charter with them again. I understand this might have been a one-off bad time with the company and my experience, but my advice is to not rent the Avalon for any of your needs for any occasion. The boat itself leaves much to be desired, and God forbid you have any problems because Eric does not care as long as he gets his money. And he will call you names on the phone and act unprofessionally if you try to have a conversation with him. read more

Celebrated our Son's 18th birthday on The Affinity - it was a picture perfect weather day with a beautiful sunset. The Affinity itself is a great venue with an upper and lower deck, very spacious with flexible seating options. It easily accommodated our DJ with plenty of room to dance. Lots of food options to choose from and hats off to the chef, everything was tasty and presentation lovely. The boat team was outstanding, I can't say enough about how polite and hardworking they all were - hustling the entire time. Overall a wonderful and impressive experience. Our daughter's wedding and reception on the Aqua Azul yacht was a magical experience. Imagine this -- you are recently engaged and beginning to research wedding venues in New York City. Can you already feel some anxiety anticipating the expense of a wedding in the city, not to mention all the great ideas and luxuries suggested by friends and colleagues (wedding venues, favors, quirky ideas, etc.)? After visiting several overpriced venues, you might just start relinquishing that wedding you always envisioned for a lesser, cost-efficient option. That's about where I was before receiving a response our planner at Yachts for All Seasons -- after office hours, might I add -- and about hosting our event on a triple-deck yacht that sail around Manhattan (with a special visit to the Statue of Liberty). Nancee was a lifesaver; her communication and dedication was impeccable from start and soon after meeting her we were ready to book our date -- but on which boat? Nancee went above and beyond, showing us several options until we came to the Atlantica. I first toured the boat on my own without my fiancé, and immediately fell in love. I was still apprehensive it would be way beyond our budget, but when Nancee shared the cost I was beyond ecstatic. To this day, I still recall that sense of excitement and relief -- the BEAUTIFUL yacht provided so much space and would easily accommodate a seated dinner for our guests, a 12-piece band, a dance floor, and more. And this option was the hands down the best value that we had seen. Unsurprisingly, we booked the Atlantica and even adjusted our planned date to make sure it worked. The next year of planning went quickly and Nancee was with us every step of the way. Even when I knew that I was being a pest -- and I had my moments -- she never missed a beat! We had our tasting on the Bateaux (which was essentially four three course meals all at once) and tried all of the food, wines, and cocktails we would have on our special day. Nancee offered amazing suggestions and advice throughout the process, and she even sailed with us on our wedding day to make sure everything ran smoothly. And our wedding was perfect! Nancee and our amazing team of servers, bartenders,the maitre'd, and the crew were gracious and welcoming. The boat was beautifully decorated, the food was delicious, and the drinks were awesome. Everyone pulled together and worked as a well-oiled machine to provide a special, personal event for us. New York is an amazing place to get married, but the stress of planning and the cost of getting what you've always hoped for can be overwhelming. But not with Yachts for All Seasons. They helped us to plan and throw a wedding that was beyond our wildest dreams, and we feel truly lucky that our paths crossed with Nancee when they did. Nancee arranged my wedding on the Cloud 9 IV and it exceeded my expectations. As soon as we my husband and I met Nancee, we were impressed by her engaging and professional demeanor. This was in stark contrast with the other yacht vendors we had previously met up with. We had reservations about holding our wedding on a yacht, but she set our minds at ease. There were a few minor hiccups on the day of our wedding (the musicians I hired didn't have adequate equipment and I forgot a few things I needed to bring), but Nancee handled everything with grace and had solutions worked out before we even knew there was a problem. We were married aboard the Cloud Nine IV, which we booked through Yachts For All Seasons. Our experience was nothing but positive! First of all, Nancee was a dream to work with. She was very responsive, whether we called, texted, or emailed. Her and the entire crew were very caring, professional, and so on top of everything my husband and I went from frantic and stressed to calm and relaxed in just minutes. They really went above and beyond all of our expectations. The ceremony was officiated by the Captain who everybody loved, the food was DELICIOUS, and the view of the NYC skyline and the Statue of Liberty was absolutely breathtaking. Nancee had mentioned that we would get really close but nothing could have prepared us for how close we got and how beautiful it looked (we were fortunate enough to have perfect weather). Amazing!! I had chartered the Cloud Nine Three for a group of 50 people on 4/1/2015 and my expectations were far surpassed. I found Nancee Meyer while browsing through the internet looking for a reasonable deal for a boat charter and I instantly felt comfortable trusting her. She wasn't trying to haggle or rip us off, like other vendors were and was able to create a deal that met our needs and price point. Fast forward to the day of the event and I can honestly say I was blown away. Finding amazing service in NYC for a reasonable price is tough to come by, especially on a boat, but her staff went above and beyond to make sure my guests and I were well accommodated. The bar was fully stocked, the food was impeccable, extremely clean and Nancee had recommended a DJ, Chris LaPez, as we were in need of one last minute and who kept my guests dancing all night long!
