Out of all the Uhaul locations ive gone to this one is the worst one ive ever gone to. No over…read morenight drop off past 8pm. When they are open theres no signs anywhere telling you where to park the trucks. No attendants to be seen. My original drop off location was a few blocks up but Uhaul changed it to this location instead. And ive had the unlucky privilege of coming here. Came in around 11am to drop off a 26 ft truck and parked the truck head in, in the first available spot I found. Went out to find an attendant to see if they wanted it parked somewhere else and the owner pops out of his mobile office and before i could say anything he proceeds to yell at me stating i parked the truck wrong and threatened to charge me $500 if i dont flip the truck around. So i tell him theres no signage anywhere and thats why i went up to ask where did he want me to park. Afterwards he goes back into his office. Doesnt offer to help guide the truck or anything. So i start to turn the truck around but theres very little space to maneuver thanks to the owners bright idea to park his personal vehicles in front of where he wants the vehicles parked. So im having to make a multiple point turn and as im about to finally back park into the spot he comes out and goes and points to another spot and goes park into there instead. I opened the door told him to fuck off if he wanted me to park somewhere else he should have stated that and im not parking in this new spot he decided that now thats what he wants. After yelling at him and telling him to move his personal cars he just hides back in his office never to be seen again. This site has a whole back area he could have parked his vehicles in which would have made parking in an underpass significantly easier. The owner Al has no customer service and is incredibly rude. Immediately threatening people with a $500 fee without even talking to a customer is crazy. Ive reported it to Uhaul and they stated the regional manager will contact me but its been a few days and no contact. Reading previous reviews i doubt itll change. Do better im not sure how your still in business. If Uhaul changed my drop off locations to here again ill be calling customer service to change it. If i could leave 0 stars i would and this was only a drop off. I couldnt imagine doing a pick up here.

The THE MECHANICAL DEFECTS COULD HAVE COST US OUR LIVES!! The truck speed limit max out at 35mph while empty (driving to location) and 25mph when filled with our furniture. IT CAME TO A TOTAL STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE 405 and my uncle had to improvise in order to avoid getting in an accident. To top things off the lift was not working properly and got stuck. Contacted the company and they gave us instructions to EMPTY the oil and let it run. All over the driveway of our new home! After that, the lift got stuck two more times. We ended up paying double to our movers because of extra lifting. It is now parked on the street and we are fearful to drive it back to the office for the return. I am writing this review to shed light on this company's negligence as well as their lack of customer service. They should have sent someone right away to remedy the issue or at least swapped out the vehicle. Totally illegal, unsafe and a hazard to the person renting as well as all others on the road. They should have their license revoked! We will be reporting this to the authorities in the morning!

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a business. After I spent 20 minutes or so…read morereserving a cargo van on-line (on Sunday, June 3, 2018), as soon as I finished, I received a call from the employee who was there. He told me they close at 4:00 and I needed to drop off the van by 3:00 or 3:30. I can't remember exactly, but the time limitation was fine at that point. I told him that wouldn't be a problem, and that I was about to call him to let him know I could pick it up earlier than the time for which I reserved it (1:00). When I got there between 12:45 and 1:00 p.m., he told me he closes at 3:00, and I had to have the van back by 2:30, which would have been cutting it too close. The problem really came when he handed me the paperwork to sign. I asked him if he could print it out in larger type, as the type was not readable, not only because of the size, but because it was fuzzy, and looked as if it had been printed on a fax machine. He refused. When I told him I can't sign something I couldn't read, he became irate. He said it was because I didn't have my glasses on, which I had left in the car, and could have easily gotten. I could not have read this paperwork, even with glasses on, because the print was so small and distorted. He refused to let me have the paperwork. Instead, he ripped it up and threw it at me, stating something to the effect that he wouldn't rent to me and I needed to leave. He was yelling at me and his reaction was over the top. I had my young daughter with me and even she was upset. I then went to EZ Storage and Moving Center, down the street, where I rented a U-haul truck from some really lovely ladies. The two experiences were night and day. I will never go to this facility again, and will let me friends and family know that they shouldn't waste their time going to a place which treats its customers so badly.

I rented 2 flat dollies, but was told that location doesn't have them (according to the front desk person, the owner is aware of this). There were no dollies at all to choose from. The cargo van already had the gas light on upon getting in the driver's seat. After loading up the van at my apartment, it wouldn't start. So, I waited 30-40 min for the roadside to come by to fix the issue. I happened to try to start the truck again and it miraculously turned over and started. I asked the roadside assistant to meet me at the drop off location. While unloading he fixed the truck since it was a battery issue. I was delayed about 1.5 hours due to the issues and didn't have the two dollies to expedite the process. The front desk person gave me the owner's number to which I called and left a voicemail briefly explaining everything asking for a callback. I also texted him as well. This was on June 30th and I have yet to hear back from him. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review, but the fact that I've received no call back when running a business like this is unacceptable. Update: It's July 7th and I haven't heard from the owner yet.

Absolutely incompetent staff from start to finish…read more When I returned my U-Haul, nobody could give a straight answer about where the truck was supposed to be parked. Hours later, they called me demanding I come back because apparently I parked it "off property" -- despite the fact THEY already had possession of the keys and could've moved it themselves the entire time. This place is a complete disaster. Rude employees, terrible communication, zero accountability, and the management clearly has no idea what they're doing. Avoid this location unless you want a headache. I've never had problems at any other location except for this one.
