I had an unfortunate accident a few weeks back and Roy's Towing was called in by the police in Simi…read moreValley. Much like a dazed accident victim, I didn't really know where to start the mitigation and insurance process, at the time. After having been treated by the Paramedics, I called the Roy's Towing phone number that was left by the driver to me. It was a little late but I wasn't able to take some important personal items and that'll be critical for my work, so I called the number. Here's the very unfortunate thing that added insult to injury, an older man picked up the phone at about 10 or 11 PM .... very rude and bad-tempered. He lectured me that I called the Roy's Towing number that was only intended for police officers. So I said, I just needed my personal items from my car and explained that I am a first responder too. He began screaming asking me a question, "are you a police officer?" You cannot use or call this number if you aren't a cop, do you understand? Engaged up the phone right away and knead of directing me to the right number, just slammed the phone. NO ONE is impersonating or pretending to be a cop, I will never want that job, with all due respect but isn't the job of a Roy's Towing owner or driver to help those who are I situations where they might not know who to turn to during accidents? As a first responder myself, I always make an effort to ease the tension and anxiety of people under such circumstances. Roy's Towing owner or driver at that time was NOT a good contractor for the SVPD, they are the worst example of public service and customer service. Oh by the way, I was hit by a lady who accepted fault and who cased the accident. There were many witnesses present and the SVPD was on site during the accident! DO NOT USE ROY's TOWING from Simi Valley, they are the worst service people anywhere! Let's not patronize rude and disrespectful people who don't care about their customers!

I was extremely impressed by the quick, courteous treatment, the professional assessment of the work to be done and the extremely thorough, high-quality work that was performed. During their prep, they discovered previous bodywork, which was poorly done and reached out to that body shop to settle the cost difference. They then completed the entire job correctly and the results were stunning. The bodywork is so straight and smooth, that it's even better than the factory lines. And the paint work was perfectly matched and flawless. They did take a few extra days to complete the work, because of the unforeseen damage they found under the existing paint, but it was well worth the wait. I'm extremely happy with their work. I can highly recommend Carstar to anyone who needs professional body and paint work for their vehicle...

I found…read moremyself in an unfortunate situation needing repairs and had experience before with formerly City Auto Body. They are an authorized repair dealer for my insurance and I like that they partner with Enterprise to service their customers. Much better than Hertz in every way. From start to finish, communication was quick and smooth. I was given an inspection almost immediately and given the keys back just as quick it seemed. Working with body shops from a previous career, I know this is not an average experience. The most deserving part of the five star review is the extra steps they took. For example, I had a few minor scratches on my front bumper they touched up for me. Free of charge. They also detail your vehicle nicely and have a water bottle upon your return. The little things make for a nice touch. Much appreciated and recommend this body shop for any future repairs.

Apparently…read moreAAA makes the tech check the battery every time they come even though the first tech stated the battery needs a change. The first tech from west hills towing company straight up lies to customers saying the battery is either chargeable or replaceable when he doesn't have the jurisdiction to do so. So he doesn't charge my battery that apparently needs to be charged and he sets up a next day battery delivery and installation without telling me what time it is. He just said to call AAA in the afternoon which I'm glad I didn't listen to him because he scheduled it at 10am when I had something going on. The 2nd tech comes the next day and demands paperwork from AAA that the battery is under warranty when this was never discussed previous day or by AAA. He checks my battery and said it's good. I called AAA to verify and they reported from previous day that my battery report was "good and no issues" so why did the first tech said it needed to be recharged or replaced? It will forever be a mystery. The funny part is this company loves to hide its tracks because they conveniently "don't have any documentation of the tech coming out the previous day". My fault for trusting the system. I should have asked for all the documentation from the beginning. Don't even bother with this disorganized dishonest company. On top of it they charge $100 for labor. Thanks west hills towing company for wasting my time and not fixing the problem.
