What a charming little shop! My first visit here my twins were with us and we had no idea what to…read moreexpect. We stopped in and they were making elephant candles. The amazingly friendly workers said they could make custom ones for my kids! So we went home with a custom blue and custom pink elephant we saw being made for the same price an existing one would have been. What great service and value! The second time I visited the shop was to pick up the free wax melts that were a part of the Dutch host inn package. Since it was just me I was able to ask about the candles. They pour all of them right there! There was a great selection of sizes, scents and jars. I love that they have lilac, basically my ultimate favorite scent. It can be harder to find. I left with a giraffe candle and a lilac candle (in addition to my wax melts). The shop does take credit cards but there is a four percent fee if you pay that way. If you are going to Walnut Creek farms it is right down the street from the entrance. Definitely worth a visit and a place I'll be back to!

The associates here are helpful and knowledgeable when deciding on what to select. They can make a custom candle while you watch the process or make it while you go and come back later. The ladies who work there were parked in front of either a Computer screen or a TV, watching far right conspiracy lies concerning Covid 19. It was loud enough that you could hear it throughout the shop. It very upsetting to me. They heard me leaving and asked if I needed help. I said no. I then told them I would never shop there again, and did not appreciate what they were broadcasting though out the store. I know it is a free country and you can believe whatever you want, but all I wanted to do was shop, and was subjected to these extreme views. I had no choice but to leave. And, although I was wearing a mask, they weren't. I am so done with this place.

She wasn't wearing a mask and indicated she wasn't getting vaccinated. I find it arrogant and inconsiderate that she wouldn't wear a mask because she could still be shedding the virus. For the sake of the customers, couldn't she just have put on a mask.

They offer colored and natural beeswax candles, and the wall display of colored candles is just beautiful, with varying tints and hues of the same color climbing the wall. It's very pleasing! The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable - I learned a lot about fresh honeycomb and the harvest process while chatting today. I picked up a box of beeswax tea lights, which are my favorite to burn in a salt block holder while I work - so relaxing. And you can laugh, but my dog loves beeswax candles too, and will sit and watch them. I will for sure be back - I have my eye on the deep red and also a pair of earrings!
