OK...finally went to Yankee Trace to play a round yesterday. It is a huge facility with a great practice facility and three 9 hole courses. The carts have GPS, and a COOLER which is always nice when it's hot/humid as hell like yesterday. Afternoon rate was $42 with a cart. You can't beat that folks. They have nice restrooms and cold water and free ICE half way through each 9. A lot of people golfing here don't fix any of their divots in the fairways or on the greens. That isn't Yankee Trace's fault. Overall great pace and fairways, bunkers and greens were in great shape. This is a solid course and now I want to come back and play the other 9 I didn't play. I recently joined the senior men's golf club league here this spring, and have golfed a handful of times Thus farm this is a fantastic golf facility in superb shape with excellent staff, top-of-the-line golf carts and maintenance and Golf Course workers who keep things in top-notch shape. It's price less to golf here than what it is Pipestone in Miamisburg, which has great value for your dollar Three separate nine holes of golf makes for unique 18 holes on each visit All the negative and lower rated reviews this place has received seem very unjust to me. The staff is very friendly and I've never encountered any pace of play issues. although I do typically golf weekdays versus weekends. read more

Just moved here and played a few courses in the Miamisburg area. I really like this one. There are 3 9 hole courses all of which are really well taken care of. The pace of play is great with the Marshall's they have. The carts have Bluetooth to connect to which I love. Great all around course. read more

Love yankee trace for golf, beautiful golf course! I will say I have ran into issues getting told to speed up every time I play here while I am waiting on people in front of me. I feel like as a woman you stand out on golf courses and the rangers here really target that. They have new carts that are all decked and cost a lot more than other courses. read more

Not a good course and the people in pro shop have a very strange attitude and not in a good way. The lady at the desk asked me if I was above the age of 16 and I am literally a middle aged man and she then gave me a hard time because I forgot my license in the car. Also I gave her a 100 dollar bill and she then told me to go to the bank. The cart workers gave me a hard time and told me they wanted to go home when I picked out a new cart. Very strange and ultimately ridiculous... DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Easily the greatest place to play in the Miamisburg/Centerville area. Ya it's a little on the pricier end but it's worth it compared to other courses in the area. There's a reason their huge parking lot is filled every evening and weekend. You'll never come across a beat up tee box or ever have to hit off patches of dirt. Believe it or not I shot a 63. Then I had to play the back nine. Great course! Very challenging. It has all the challenges, some narrow fairways, some sand, some water. This is a very well kempt course. Lush green fairways, well manicured greens. I enjoyed it immensely. This is as good of a public course I have played in Michigan. The next time I'm in the area, this is a must play course. Check out the website as they also have a nice clubhouse and banquet facilities. I cannot rate those as all I did was golf. read more

I've played here a few times. Today will be my last. The course itself is nice. It's the staff that runs that is the downfall. I paid for my round online. Arrive and am told their are no carts. Even though I paid for one. Basically they are too lazy to get off their asses and get them out in my eyes. I played at another course during the pandemic last week and the staff wiped the seats and steering wheel of the cart. Only takes 2 minutes. You would think at a place like Yankee they would do this. Then I tee off on the Legends course as instructed and a guy is mowing the green. I get to the green and he takes attitude with me and tells me I was supposed to tee off first on heritage. Again not what I was told and now I'm walking and told him that he needs to take it up with the clubhouse. Of course I paid for 18 but only walked 9. Just poorly managed and you get an attitude every time you come out. Go play Beavercreek. Just as nice a course and without the up yours attitude. read more

Three words, Horrible Customer Service. Let's start with the girl in the clubhouse running the cash register. My friend was looking for balls and saw they had some but no prices posted anywhere, he asked the girl if they had any prices posted for balls & with an attitude says "no I have to scan them each to see what the price is." Odd way of business but whatever, to each their own but lose the attitude next time. Fast forward to my group of 5 (no one else is on the course bc of the weather), so we didn't think anything wrong with us 5 golfing together ( we were wrong). On the 9th putting green one of the workers comes out talking to us (while ppl are actively putting) and says that "one of us didn't pay & whoever it is needs to pay now." Long story short, one of my friends inserted his credit card into the reader and thought the transaction was completed bc the girl gave him a cart key, apparently it didn't go thru so he had to pay, which is completely fine, we have never tried to scam a golf course so no biggie. However his tone of voice was very aggressive for such a simple mistake. The worker then preceded to yell at us for golfing in a group of 5 (once again, no one was on the course bc of the rain). I get it in normal pace of play & golf no more than 4 but with us being the only ones on the course, who cares?? Only reason they got two stars is bc even with the wet course, the course was super fun to play & seemed to b well kept. read more

Was not impressed with their Sunday Brunch. Had reservations, but not enough tables were set up for our party of 7 when we arrived. Waitress wasn't attentive, and never asked how everything was, or if we needed water refills. I am not part of the Country Club, was attending event there. Sycamore Country Club has much better staff for sure. Thank You. read more

The staff is incredibly rude, the greens keepers are either furloughed or just lazy, and they go cart-path-only entirely too often. Drive past any course in the area today and you'll see carts in the fairways, but not at Yankee. Was told by the pro shop it would be cart path only the entire winter, which is ridiculous when you're already taking a hit in paying to play in the cold. Broke off 5 plastic tees in the ground yesterday because the ground was so hard, but couldn't drive off the cart path. Give me a break. read more

My favorite golf course in Dayton. Prices aren't unreasonable. Golf here a lot with friends and deff get my money's worth.

Staff was professional and polite. Started on time. Played Vintage. Well maintained. Liked ease in parking and plenty of room on driving range. It's located adjacent to parking lot and clubhouse which is a plus for me as I'm older and don't like to carry my bag a long way before I play. Consider that an asset, most clubs have the range far from parking. Will come back next time in town later this fall to play other two courses. Would recommend. Nancy V read more

Nia in the golf shop was extremely rude toward a young girl that was trying to pay for a bucket of balls tonight. The young girl was in proper attire (wearing a mocked neck shirt) and was visibly excited to interact with the attendant. Instead, Nia treated her with disrespect and told her that she was dressed inappropriately for the range. And in all reality, she was dressed properly. Nia made her put on a shirt that made her look both uncomfortable and visibly upset once she left the club house. Not only was Nia incorrect, she also was not enforcing the rules toward the men who were on the range in cotton t-shirts (which is inappropriate attire). It seemed that Nia needed to get her attitude in check before she is judgmental towards others. It seemed like she was making it personal when in all reality her dress was not offensive and they young girl was only playing on the range! Seems like other reviewers are having issues with Nia as well. Maybe Yankee should do something about it? read more

We went to hit balls last night on the range and the guy working Dillon was rude and is a poor example of a golf course employee. We asked if we could get a bucket of balls and he said they were shut down and there were at least 10 people on range. He rudely said NO and then stated "do you think I'm lying to you? Were closed" I guarantee none of my friends or associates will ever golf or have an outing there again. read more

Played here yesterday. Great course. Very friendly, great condition. Green speed seemed a little slow to me but not bad. Played Heritage and Legend 9s. Want to go back again and play the other 9. Awesome practice areas. read more

Went to hit balls on range at 8 PM while there was plenty on sunlight left. Dillon was working. I was rudely told they were all shut down while there was atleast 10 people on range. I asked if there was any way I could get a bucket of balls to hit and even pay wit credit card to not mess up his drawar when Dillon told me NO and then insulted me and stated "You think I'm lying to you? No were are closed." I have hit balls there occasionally and we have our osteopathic golf outing there frequently. Obviously I will not be hitting balls there any more and will not be planning any outings for my group or any group I am involved with. Service was terrible and Dillon was rude. Drive an the extra time and go hit somewhere else. read more
