Our Rav4 was hit be a deer on the Driver's side door, just below the door handle. There was damage to the door and the front and rear quarter panels. The window would not roll down and you could hear wind coming from the door when driving over 15 MPH. Our insurance company, USAA, provided us with three recommended body shops in Butte with one being Yates Body Shop. We took the car there for an estimate which was done very quickly and professionally. We decided to go with Yates and they worked with USAA and all we had to do was pay the deductible. Yates called us a couple of times while the car was being repaired to let us know the status of the repair which was greatly appreciated! When we went to pick up the car after the repairs were complete we couldn't believe how nice it looked. After driving it for a week or so without any issues we couldn't be happier that we selected Yates for our repair! They did an extremely good job for us and should we need auto body work in the future they will be our first choice! read more

Got rear ended a few weeks back and Yates Body Shop did an amazing job they worked with my insurance company to get me the best deal possible and negotiated with my insurance company where they needed to purchase a better quality part because the after market part didn't match correctly. I have been neglecting my baby for far too long. When I brought it in to be detailed, it was stained and trashed. The guys did a pretty good job! It was even done an hour ahead of schedule. The price was a bit steep but considering I didn't spend all day with my own shampooer, I'd gladly pay it again. They got all of the bugs off, and if it wasn't for the dings I'd think I was picking up a new truck again. Best part was the manager (?) came out and took care of a few rogue spots, and made sure I was 100% happy when I drove it off the lot. 10/10 would recommend and will be coming back. read more

I chose Yates because they seemed honest and thorough. However, they have proven to be very dishonest in their dealings with me. While my vehicle was in their possession, its electrical system mysteriously was shorted out. Even the mechanic who fixed it for them was surprised that they made me pay for it and for towing it between the two shops. When I picked it up, there was a mechanical issue that was not there when I had dropped it off. It was not there when it had left the mechanic shop two days prior. I was referred to the mechanic they used, who, upon tearing it down, concluded that it was probably damaged by the impact of the accident and exacerbated by the body shop. Yates took it upon themselves to tell the insurance company that it was on the side opposite the point of impact. This was not true. The malfunctioning part was directly behind the point of impact. When I spoke with Yates, they acted like I was trying to scam the insurance company. I would never scam anyone. All I know is that my vehicle worked fine when I left it at their shop and it didn't when I picked it up. How that came to be, I don't know. Conveniently, neither do they. read more
