Abuse I received in their jail
    Melissa B.

Yavapai County Jail If I could do zero Stars I would I am 42 years old and I've never been in trouble with the law and they had the audacity to arrest me for no reason no proof no nothing and the guy who arrested me smiled the whole time he was up on his high horse even the cops standing there said most likely you're going to get a warning that's what happens and then when the dude came over and said I was under arrest he goes well I guess he's on his high horse today don't 2take it personally he's a jerk. Horrible experience there first offense which I did nothing wrong and the woman detention officer threw me on the ground bruised my arm bit my arm. Stepped on my very broken foot and told me your foot is supposed to look like that they treat people like animals refuse to let me have a phone call to contact my attorney and I kept knocking on the door to get answers and they kept ignoring me telling me I was being a nuisance however they would not let me call my attorney or my mother to get me out of there. I wish I could remember the one deputy's name but the one girl not the one who bit me I told her I felt like with suffocating and she told me that she didn't give a s*** about me and that I was full of s***. I will be taking this to the state they cannot treat people inhumane what happened to being innocent until proven guilty even the so-called DO and charge says yep you got that right. They treat people very very unhumane there were a couple good people that agreed I was being treated horrible not to mention they made me stay naked for 24 hours and they would not give me anything due to the fact that I was on my menstrual cycle they said tough luck. If they want to hold this review against me that is perfectly fine because the truth is out there my attorney knows all about it and I will be suing the state or the county the so-called nursing for Mary I told her that I'm on blood pressure medicine I'm on pain medicine for my foot and for my neck and back she said your foot's been awhile you shouldn't be any pain so quit bitching and ask for your anxiety medicine have fun detoxing and if you have a heart attack then maybe we'll give you your blood pressure medicine. They don't like my review and they continue with their nonsense on the stupid ass charges it will just prove that they can't handle the truth about how their jail is oh and let me tell you they make you s*** in a drain looking thing on the floor like you would see in a public restroom drain. They also make you drink out of a water faucet that is attached to the toilets in the regular jail cells how is that humane. Little do they know that I actually know quite a few politicians I met quite a few at the Trump rally including the deputy that was shot and killed in yavapai and I must have to say I feel bad for them losing a brother but the actual sheriff was not there to even give condolences to the family but pinal county sheriff was there Trump did it and so did anybody else that came up to talk but not the yavapai county sheriff shame on you shame on the whole office for not being there And I am pretty sure the woman do detention officer that abused me also broke my finger and possibly my wrist will be going to the ER tomorrow or the next day. They will not allow me back in my own home that my mom has control over and this had nothing to do with her so now I'm paying money to have to stay in a hotel. Shame on you yavapai county you have to be the worst when it comes to treating people like humans I suggest you start training your people better or get people that actually give a s*** about people's well-being Now I will give credit to a few people there that actually were very nice treated people like humans and tried to help me when they asked why are you ignoring her and not helping her they simply said she's not worth our time she can sit there and wait she does not deserve a phone call nor does she have the right to one. The people that were nice totally disagreed apologized and said that if I need them to testify or anything Will be contacting all new stations Also the picture of my hip was from the same detention officer placing her knee on my side I have really bad PTSD now it's even worse thanks to them shame on you you have a pi county the place is inhumane. Their water fountain is attached to the toilet that is not humane or sanitary and then if you're put in a different place they consider as suicide watch since I was trying to get their attention and knocking on the door it's like a drain that you would see like in a restroom and a truck stop on the floor that they want you to use it's not even a toilet and there's human feces all in it how in the world is that sanitary And I hadn't even gone to trial I was not found guilty or anything what happened to being innocent until proven guilty well I will tell you they treat you like you're guilty they already have you judged and they beat the s*** out of you.

They provided adequate cleaning supplies, so those people saying that "their cell was too dirty", that's 100% on them.

She is very pleasant, efficient and helpful. I have had brief contact with several judicial assistants and got my questions answers. The security guards who staff the entrance have nice personalities and i usually chat with them for a bit. From my experience over the last 6 months, I think they all deserve kudos.

Judge Linda Wallace - A definition of corrupt is serving a purpose or interest other than intended…read more I've worked with Judge Linda Wallace on 3 cases now, all as Pro Se. Judge Wallace essentially ignores filings, facts, and evidence from the public. It appears that her sole interest is in preserving her position as a judge and satisfying the attorneys who enter the courtroom. I'm not sure how she handles attorney v attorney matters, but she ignored multiple requests for TROs that resulted in assault and battery, refused to admit permissible evidence in a civil claim, and ignored authority from federal judges stating that cases cannot be used as evidence. This judge has zero interest in actually enforcing the law or protecting people. She's nearly the lowest level of judge in the land and you have no shot of getting justice from her unless you're willing to appeal her baseless decisions. My recommendation is to simply use a different court if you're representing yourself, or the court has a political reason not to serve justice because this judge has no interest in the spirit of the law whatsoever and has no problem looking the public in the eye, lying, and abusing her position of power.

Visited 12/26/2025…read more The Jail Tree in Wickenburg AZ. So Worth a visit. The Jail Tree https://share.google/Fz0n196FKvWbaQkQ5 Hi Guys just thought I'd share a short day trip yesterday to Wickenburg a little over an hour from Brenda Arizona. What a great little Historic Western Town. The jail tree was just one of the things to see in the Old Town part of Wickenburg. We were so impressed with the great old restaurants also. I'll post later where we had the Very Best Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast We both have ever had. For those that have never ventured up the 60 to Wickenburg you should treat yourself and enjoy a visit. Loretta and I are looking forward to our next visit.

There are murals and quite a few cafes & restaurants, shops, and museums to venture to. When I found this spot, there was a small parking lot right in front of the tree area. It is blocked off for traffic. It looks like a coffee vender has a food cart parked there. It was closed by the time we were there. There is parking close by. The tree looks like it's been there for a loooong time. It is interesting to see this man sitting on the ground, chained to the tree. There is a recording of the story and with a push of the button (it is working again) you can hear a tale. This stop has a Knotts Berry Farm feel to it. It's always fun to look for something new or unique. This stop is fun. It doesn't take long to check it out, & take a pic. When you take your next road trip and you find yourself in the area, Check it out!

There's no entrance fee, but there's a small ranger station at the trailhead and a very enthusiastic volunteer who gave as an orientation speech of the human history of the area and the geology of the area. Without him, the visit would have been less impressive. The water in the sinkhole contains high levels of arsenic and carbon dioxide, so no fish are in the water...but don't worry there are plenty of leeches! Don't enter the water because of that, and also because you do not want to disturb the five species endemic to this spot of water. They're found nowhere else. Interestingly enough, there's near-constant volume of spring water even in times of severe drought, which would have seemed miraculous to the people who lived here. If you look from the rim, you can see several prehistoric dwellings right under the rim on the other side. Hiking down gets you close to more dwellings. Well worth a trip, especially as it's less crowded than the Castle.

It is another short trail loop to see the Well and it's FREE (no entry fee). It's a amazing site when you reach the top of the well with the view of the well and dwellings. There is a board with some facts. The best part though was there was a wonderful, very friendly Park Ranger stationed at the top to answer any questions and to talk about the Well and surroundings if interested. She also told us of the hidden path to actually go down onto the well. We were there around 3pm, on a Monday and there were no crowds at all. A must see!
