Today I called the nurse line for advice concerning chest pain and her main concern was concerning my address for the 5th time after I was transferred and transfer just to get to her. This level of healthcare is absolutely unacceptable. As a healthcare provider myself I would NEVER TREAT A PATIENT IN SUCH A MANNER OF ANY OF THE INSTANCES ABOVE.

Prescott Justice Court REVIEW: Prescott Justice Court --…read moreJudicial Officer David Parker Case: Small Claims Hearing, March 13, 2026 (1 out of 5 stars) I appeared in Prescott Justice Court on March 13, 2026 for a small claims case involving a clear violation of Arizona's security deposit statute (A.R.S. § 33-1321). I came fully prepared with tabbed exhibits, documented evidence including a USPS postmark proving my landlord mailed my deposit four days past the statutory deadline, and relevant case law including an Arizona Supreme Court decision. The statute is clear: if a landlord returns a deposit late, the tenant is entitled to twice the amount wrongfully withheld. This is mandatory, not discretionary. To the best of my recollection, Judicial Officer David Parker: 1. Stated words to the effect that he "may apply the statute" but "doesn't have to" -- despite the law being mandatory. 2. Excused the landlord's violation of Arizona law by stating words to the effect that the defendant "is old" and that I should "understand she doesn't follow the law all the time" because of her age. Age is not a legal defense. 3. Awarded only $200 when the statute required $2,612.88. 4. Abruptly ended the hearing with words to the effect of "we're done here" when I respectfully pointed out that the statute does not provide exceptions based on age. I presented clear evidence. The law was on my side. The Arizona Supreme Court has ruled on this exact issue. None of it mattered. If you are a tenant seeking justice against a landlord in Prescott Justice Court, be aware that the law may not be applied as written. I have filed a complaint with the Arizona Commission on Judicial Conduct.

The courthouse is the center of Prescott's Town Square and is surrounded by a park-like grass area and huge old trees. There are sculptures and the area is often decorated for the season. Fourth of July and Christmas are some of the most impressive seasonal decorations. Is a great place to walk around on a cool evening.

They have plenty of quiet rooms you can utilize for privacy when on video calls or to quarantine from distraction. The re are larger conference rooms for groups that tend to be very accessible with a prior reservation. If you're a guest patron or you forget your library card they often will provide a one-time access code for computer use. You can tell they do their best to accommodate. Some features I've never seen before such as the charging tower with small code secured lockers for phones/tablets. A seed library. They have a small book resale corner where I've found some gems for a couple bucks. Finally, the third floor is an intimate ultra quiet study space with several cubicles that are great for reading and studying- very peaceful. I honestly hesitate to post this review because I feel like Prescott Public Library is a best kept secret - but the establishment deserves to be recognized.

I found out this morning that there's an employee in this building that cannot read English or is…read moreilliterate and cannot follow through with a request. A DVD has to be taken from where the Dropbox is inside the building to somebody else in the building. I've been informed that whoever the employee is cannot do this and therefore the DVD hasn't been getting to the right person. I would suggest employing some people that have got some work ethics and can follow through with this simple task.

We enjoyed our little visit here though we only had a little over an hour before closing. The children's section takes up about half of the second floor. There's tons of books (obviously), DVDs, periodicals, and even artistic creations by children and community members. Looks like that's also a lot of different programs and events you can attend or join here. The building itself is quite inspiring as it's got some very nice architectural features like angled walls, wood paneling for ceilings, lots of use of metal textures and non symmetrical designs which really makes this library an interesting place to hang out at. There's even a cafe on the first floor in case you get hungry. Overall, we enjoyed our visit.

Officer Sthallings incessant refusal to accept receipt of delivered Domino's pizza and share it made the enjoyable padded cell suicide watch slightly less enjoyable. Although his positive attitude and enjoyable personality made the nights more fun at least. Officer "Big Red" Langley was humorous and dutiful to loyally bring TP and escort me to med 3A frequently at nights as that days nutritious and delicious quality swill ran through me. I'd like to thank Officer Saunders for always being joyful and respectful, it was a pleasure to see Saunders in medical most days. To the screaming schizophrenic, I'll miss you, the incessant chronic masturbator not so much. And yes to the nurse who needed to know, I did go to The connection center with him, no my hands were never stickier. Speaking of sticky that's probably the best single word to describe the jail, if one had to describe it in a single word, one could even say that the floors there were sticky even after big mop for some reason. Much thanks to Douglas for mopping, you can't say he didn't try. To the unnamed officer, the Kind, older, gentleman, and retired road warrior, who gave me a Gatorade, I greatly thank you.
