Due to having to open up a ceiling in the 2nd story of our home for some repairs, we had a small opening into the upstairs crawlspace area. I reached out to TCI on Friday afternoon to see if there was any posibility to do the work on Saturday because the opening was to be closed up on Monday. Jonathan was super communicative and managed to squeeze my project in on a Saturday with less than 24 hours notice from me. He also took care of my FPL rebate for me, taking it off his total price and making the my life much easier (and the project less out of pocket for me). His team arrived on time and were very polite and respectful of my property. I called and made a Saturday appointment. Jeremiah was on time and did a great job!! The results were immediate - over 90 degrees outside and 75 inside. I had to raise the thermostat as I started getting cold! He'll be returning after my addition is complete to clean the ducts. They probably have NEVER been cleaned in 70 years. This home was built in 2000. However, when the FPL Energy Survey Audit was done on 1/9/25, it was determined that the attic area could benefit with additional insulation. FPL recommended another Participating Independent Contractor (PIC) but I decided to use Broward Insulation since Jeremiah, came out and agreed to match the other Company's price Quote and said he was able to do the work yesterday, 1/16/25. So he did. This mimute, 4:05 p.m. is when I finally received only 2 photos, showing the depth of the insulation and the PAID Invoice which I'd previously requested twice. My recommendation is not to part with the FPL Rebate Certificate (for $220.-) until after you, the consumer, has proof that Blown-in Insulation of R-30 is adequate and you are satisfied that ihas the desired level of comfort in your home.
