Victoria was fantastic in coming up with a design that worked with the space, and she walked me through picking design elements, finishes, and fixtures that would work together and have am inviting, beachy, cohesive look throughout the whole house! Victoria worked to figure out how I use the house and what changes would improve it for me. Victoria created a design that made the space much more welcoming, and suggested subtle changes to the floorplan that made the house more functional and gave it a much better flow. She made renderings and designs to visualize the result, and make sure the contractors understood the design and intent. She made a spreadsheet with alternatives for materials and appliances with costs that helped to plan the project going in, and helped me avoid going over budget on a down-to-the-studs remodel on the whole house. Victoria helped manage the project including working with the general contractor to make sure work was performed correctly and in accordance with the design. She helped find specific detail contractors, like a custom stair rail fabricator, to make sure the vision of the house became a reality. I've always been of the mindset that you get what you pay for. I could have shopped around for a cheap designer, but that's a lot like going to a hair styling school to get your haircut - you have no idea how it will look when you're done. Started off strong but ended up a nightmare filled with many many excuses. The kitchen and garage…read moreis beautiful if you look at the big picture but once you start looking closer, everything was off. To keep a long story short, they make up a lot of excuses for the many errors they make. They try to gaslight you into thinking they are doing you a favor by fixing their own mistakes. They try to blame the errors on you or it "previously" being there. They claim they will work with you but when their works returned, they literally were huffing and puffing out loud about having to fix their work. I have all texts and evidence and will be filing to a contractor state license board complaint and having a second opinion on the work done. Will update review with the complaint and the details when it's done. I attached some pictures for your viewing pleasure. Keep in mind these pictures are just a handful of the problems
