When my husband questioned the surcharge, the driver rudely said, "Don't you know how much gas is?" My husband replied that the price of gas is not his fault, and to charge the customer without notice is not good business. We paid by credit card, which seemed to anger the driver, and even though he was rude, we included a 15% tip, which was one of the options. He complained about the tip, saying that with the tip he couldn't buy a $12 hamburger. The experience was horrible.
