This cab company is pretty reliable. I have used them twice and they were both available within 15 minutes of calling. They are also very prompt. A fare from Fremont to San Jose Airport was about $54 pre tip. One thing I didn't like was that the meter said $53.35 and the guy rounded up to $54. That's not how rounding works but okay.... I needed a ride to the airport recently like literally at 3:30AM since the flight was at 5:30AM. Reserving a taxi was my last resort. I called the day before and asked how many for 5 people with 3 luggage, price was reasonable. Great customer service upon picking up, open the doors and also took our luggage in. Same thing upon arrival at the airport. When arriving back from our trip we did again use their service. I will only use Delta Taxi Cab services only if needed be. I needed a reliable cab for the next day, so I looked through all the reviews, web pages and phone books and figured Delta Cab was my best bet. There were four different phone numbers to choose from (used 510-744-1444) from all the sources listed. My call was answered after three rings. I gave my pickup location, time and where I needed the ride to plus my name and phone number. He'd have a cab waiting for me the next morning. So the next morning comes, taxi should be here, I give them a call, and the guy says he is just around the corner. Five minutes late is better than no cab at all! I give my destination to the cab driver, he enters it into his GPS, and off we go. We were going to Palo Alto, and unbelievably the driver ignored the instruction from the GPS to turn on Willow Road, and went down Bayfront Expressway to Marsh Road for a excursion through Menlo Park. He said he did it to avoid the traffic in Palo Alto, but I would have taken the more direct route. We still get there in enough time, and no harm done. He gives me his card that reads National Cab Company, so Delta, National who knows how may other cab companies are run by the same place. . read more

I had to catch a plane with my family and I needed a Mini Van. We had 4 large and 4 small suitcases so the extra space was a must. The driver showed up right on time helped with the luggage. These guys are reliable and trustworthy! When I thought I lost my phone I called the company and spoke to Mike and asked him if he can check his taxis if they found my phone. Even when I did not get the drivers name he assured me he will do some extense search and if they have it they will let me know. 15 minutes later I got a call from AJ the driver he said he he found my phone and will even drop it off at my house! I made arrangements for Delta to pick me up at home and take me to SFO. That part gets 5 stars. Nice driver arrived on time. I made arrangements for pick up, at the same time, for when I got back, date & time given. The driver had even written down the day and time I'd be coming back. After waiting for over an hour (you know how cold it can be sitting outside, waiting for a ride) and a phone call to the dispatcher I found out they hadn't booked a pick up for me. They would send a cab out for me but it would take an hour for them to get there. Thank goodness for Black Tie Transport who dispatched a car for me to get back home. Terrible customer service. Their website points to a cab company called "Delta Airport Taxi," yet they link to National Taxi Company (matching phone number) on Yelp. Their website for booking is pretty lackluster. The form itself is easy to fill out, yet I've never received an email confirmation OR a phone call as promised on the site. When I call in myself to confirm the pickup, the operator has absolutely no idea that I've submitted the same information online. They take my information down as to where to get picked up, but then we have to relay the same destination address to the driver when he picks us up. Attempting to get a receipt is all but impossible. Their phone app is apparently incapable of emailing a receipt, so we have to call in-- unfortunately, they tend to not pick up the phone when you call and when they do, immediately hang up on you. I'll be looking elsewhere. 2 stars because they picked us up and dropped us off safely. read more
