We removed our bags and sorted out other transportation. I called the office later and receptionist was willing to run card manually through phone. But driver had already left by then. He lost $450 that day because of a faulty card reader.

Not wanting them to be stranded at the airport and knowing they don't know how to use Uber or Lyft, I decided to search for other alternatives. I knew I wanted something where I can pay in advance so my parents didn't need to worry about paying, and something that can drive them and their luggage directly home with no other passengers in the car. I looked at reviews on Yelp and saw that Golden Gate had some good ones. I compared prices to some other shuttle services as well and decided this was very reasonable. I sent out a message through Yelp and they responded quickly. I was able to set up a shuttle ride over the phone two days in advance to have my parents picked up from SFO. What I really liked and the reason I give this company 5 stars, was their clear communication. My parents are not clear communicators, so it was imperative that I needed a shuttle service that could understand and work with me to help my parents find their way from plane to shuttle. While I was stuck at work. Lol. They were able to check on my parents' flight status, and the driver arrived on time. My parents did not follow directions (I knew it) so the driver had to contact me, but they eventually contacted the shuttle driver and found each other. Once in the car they realized they did not have their house keys. Luckily, I work one exit away from their house and the driver was kind enough to make a stop by my work to pick up my copy of keys. I really appreciate the good service this shuttle company provided. I have not personally used this service, but my parents have said that they would definitely use them again. Ride was smooth, car was clean, driver wore a mask. At a time where we are experiencing a pandemic and stress levels are high, it's good to know getting a ride from the airport is one less thing to worry about. We spoke with Yad and was able to book him for a van for six people the day before we were to leave. So last minute of us but he was more than willing to accommodate us. It is so nice how Yad remembers me too! Very sweet guy and punctual too which is what I truly appreciate. My family were happy because they didn't have to worry about driving to the airport and figuring out where to park. I booked our driver and a 6-seater Escalade for evening via Yelp so my friends and I could enjoy the party without needing to worry about getting home safely or needing to arrange multiple rides via Lyft/Uber. The booking was on very short notice and the coordinator, Priscilla, was very helpful in braking down their rates and vehicle inventory. Thanks Priscilla! Ray, our driver, was a consummate professional. Great service, pleasant to talk to, and did a fantastic job shuttling us around San Francisco on a Saturday night. I can only imagine the hoops he had to jump through to park that monster of a car while my friends and I were enjoying our night on the town. Ray drove us all around the city and the east bay over the course of our evening. He did well dealing with late night traffic and city driving; the ride was smooth and we didn't have any close calls or scares that I sometimes get with the odd rideshare driver. What I paid for the excellent service was actually a bit less than I was expecting. The terms of the booking stipulated extra fees for drop-offs or stops outside of the pickup/dropoff location. Given we had been all around San Francisco and traveled through the east bay to drop off one of our party, I was pleasantly surprised to see that one stop was waived from the final bill. Bait & Switch Practice:…read more I was quoted for a stretch limousine to take my family to Napa Valley on Oct 17th, 2021 and instead was sent a "Ford transit non luxury shuttle" without prior notice. The driver claimed he had only been dispatched that same morning before our 8am pickup and said I would have to resolve the dispute with management after our trip, so I documented the hourly rate dispute directly on the invoice the driver asked me to sign. After our trip, I called and left message to speak with management, stating a need to adjust the hourly rate quoted for a stretch limousine due to the unplanned vehicle change to a non luxury van. Two weeks later, without returning my call, they billed my credit card for additional time used at the disputed hourly stretch limousine rate. I called to discuss the disputed additional fee and asked Tanya to speak with a manager and instead got an email response from their manager Bobby falsely claiming that they sent email confirmation of a vehicle change in advance and also falsely claiming this was the first time they were hearing that the vehicle was wrong. Bobby quoted their policy to send confirmations in-advance, but refused to produce evidence they had done so, and threatened to report me to the "PUC" if I dispute their charges. I could not be more disappointed and they clearly demonstrate no interest in resolving service or billing errors. True Elegance Worldwide dba Napa Shuttle & Limousines' business practices are unethical.

VOLUNTEER ROLLING CHECK-IN…read more Usually when I take Southwest to Las Vegas I check-in my luggage for convenience. This afternoon I took Flight 818 to Las Vegas. Since Southwest charges $45 for check-in luggage I decided to have my rolling luggage as a carry-on. An announcement by one the Southwest flight agents at Gate 30 said that Flight 818 is fully booked and there will be limited bin space overhead. He asked for 14 volunteers with rolling luggage who wanted to check-in at no charge. I volunteered. So I ended up saving $45 to not check-in and volunteered to have my roller luggage check-in for free.

Checking a bag was a breeze in the priority lane, and the regular line wasn't super long, but there were people even at that hour. Boarding was also smooth with the numbered zones and assigned seating. The Oakland gate areas are super small thought with a limited amount of seating. I'd imagine on a busy travel day, working your way to your gate could be an issue. It's probably the least appealing gate area of any Southwest terminal I've been in. Luckily, I wasn't there long.
