Harmony is so kind and always on time and I feel very safe riding with him. We have had drivers who were constantly texting while driving- which scares me to death- and Harmony never does that. We have used Desoto many times, especially my husband for his trips to the airport. I called Roman and explained that I wouldn't be able to pay for my fare until AAA had been to open my car. He totally understood the situation, told me he would contact his manager, and get right back to me. He did this within 5 minutes and told me that a cab was on its way and I could pay later. Unfortunately, I had to cancel as my child seat was also still locked in my car. I just want to say a big thank you to Desoto and Roman for trying to help me out when I needed them. That's GREAT customer service and we will definitely continue to use them. Thanks again!!!

Although there…read moreis "cab" in the company name, Charity Cab is a private car service with 2 comfortable cars that Keith owns and operates. This was the second time we had used Keith; the first was an early morning trip to SJC. He's reliable, efficient, friendly and cost-competitive with other private car services. When, like us, you need to get to SFO or SJC reliably, and don't want to drive and park long-term, there's no better option I know of than Charity Cab. Ride share apps are hit and miss, and the last thing you want is to have to wait 45 minutes for a ride. And driving an hour, hunting for a space, and lugging a few large suitcases into and out of an airport parking shuttle that makes a dozen stops before your terminal is a drag. And the last thing you want to do after a long international flight is drive an hour to get home late at night. Keith will accept credit cards, but prefers cash if you have it. I highly recommend Charity Cab!

Called ahead to set everything up, gave them my pickup time, and when I checked in a few days before the trip out of pure travel anxiety, they had me down for the exact time I'd given them. Driver showed up right on the dot. The vehicle was a big clean SUV, plenty of room for luggage, and the ride to the airport was smooth and safe the whole way. Got dropped off right at the door we needed, which matters when you're pulling bags out at a busy terminal. The part I appreciated most was the billing. They invoiced me after the trip, so there was no scrambling for a card or working out a tip with the driver in the moment. Zero hassle on departure day, which was the whole point. If you want a calm start to a trip and not a coin flip on whether your ride shows up, book these guys. Worth it.

The night we were leaving, we had them booked for 8:30pm. It's 8:45pm, and they still have not arrived. I called them, and Roger answered and he called the driver, and the driver said he got a FLAT TIRE and got in an accident on the road. Why didn't this driver call Roger and let him know, so he could inform us? Anyways, Roger arrived at 9:15 and took us to the airport. He did NOT honor their "less than 20 minutes late or it's free" guarantee. Pfftt!! Then, a month later, we arrive back at SFO, and they are supposed to pick us up at midnight. But instead, I get a call from Roger and SURPRISE, their vehicle had a FLAT TIRE and they cannot pick us up and we are on our own to find a ride home at midnight. Thanks!! On 8/24 I called in the morning to request a ride for that evening in Livermore. Needed a pickup at 5:40 p.m. for a 6:00 private event we were attending. I never received a call back and our driver never showed up. We ended up driving our own vehicle to the event and we're obviously late. Horrible service. Will not use again and have let others know as well.
