I never thought I would be taking the time to write a review about a taxi service. However, it was such a pleasure dealing with Rocky that I wanted to share our positive experience. My brother-in-law needed an early morning lift to SFO in the rain. I made a request through Yelp. Rocky was responsive, fairly priced and shared his positive attitude. Ridiculous .... I don't know what is there process to hire a driver ... I used to take a lot of my rides through Dublin yellow cab . mostly my rides were from San Ramon to Dublin or Dublin to san Ramon. they used to charge me around $15 to $18 for that much distance , I was ok with it as I was getting a transport to reach on my destinations . one morning I called for the cab and they said no we cannot come as you take only small distance rides !!! Do Not Use!!! They will ignore the meter and charge more than double what it reads!!! My 17 year old daughter is was taken advantage for a cab ride home. The meter read $11 and he (Ram) charged $25, and only had $1 change when given $30. I called the cab company and they just lie and say the never sent a cab. THEY COMMIT FRAUD!!! Jim picked me up from the West Dublin Bart to take me to Bishop Ranch in San Ramon. I had to make a couple of stops on the way, (had to drop by the atm and also pick up some office supplies from the depot). Jim was super nice about it and didn't charge me for the wait either. The guy was super enthusiastic and we had a great conversation. I ended up tipping him the fare. Great service. Didn't get him on my way back, but you all should definitely ask for jim next time. read more

Recently took a trip to NorCal and used this service to get around because their number is so easy to remember! The phone operator was courteous when I called to request a cab, and my driver was really friendly, but I don't remember his name. This company was fantastic. I want to start by thanking Sam and Rocky for turning a horrible day into a perfect ending. Sam answered the phone as cheerful as a person could be (That was nice) since my company vehicle had broken down and the company tow service was still 4 1/2 hours away at the soonest. For no reason whatsoever, she told me she felt bad for me and gave me 15% off. I know cab prices and she really did give me 15% off. THANK YOU SAM!!!! Then my driver who goes by "Rocky" shows up earlier than I was told. Stops at a Luckys supermarket on the way so I can get a bite to eat then gets me to my destination. He was extremely courteous and polite as well as a very safe driver (That was nice). These people know what customer service is all about and are shining examples of what all companies in this field of work should strive to be like. !!DO NOT USE!! Horrible service!! We called last night from a bar (Tuesday night) to have a cab sent they said 15 mins so 25 mins later we called again to check the status and the operator told us the cab was pulling in so we go out and she was right the yellow Prius stood before us , one thing she didn't mention was the idiot driver ended up promising his services to someone who approached them as he pulled in!! This caused an altercation between us (3 girls) and the 2 men accusing us of stealing 'their' cab. We had to wait over an hour in the cold for another cab!! I have been using San Ramon yellow cab for about 5 years now for my business travel. They are great friendly company to work with, come on time to pick you up. I called to give them a set time I needed to get picked up, told them my address and everything and they had to call me back ten minutes later to get all that information again. I didn't mind whatsoever until the cab driver picked me up. THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET THE MOST MONEY OUT OF YOU. I needed to be at work early but he took the longest way he could. On top of that, I purchased a $5 for $10 here on Yelp and I tried to use it on my fare. They basically told me that I couldn't use it and that it was only good for airport runs although NOWHERE on the voucher description did it say that. ON TOP OF THAT they had the audacity to try and charge me more because they kept running the meter while I was trying to use my voucher. DO NOT GO WITH THIS CAB COMPANY! If you're going to use any taxi company in the Bay Area, (I am from sanramon) I would highly suggest yellow cab. This is a name brand can company for a reason, unlike some of the smaller cab companies I have tried in my days, this is at the top of my list. It's nice for going around town as it's 2.50 per mile but can get expensive. But it's always worth it as they NEVER fail to show up within their promised 10-15 minute deadline! read more

The WORST cab service in the tri valley! I have used them 3 times now thinking that it will get better but the first time it took them 45 minutes, the second ONE HOUR and then now today it's taken them another 45 minutes.
