    Welcome
    Janos J.

I heard so many great things about this festival and it is true the Yellow Daisy Festival is huge. The only issue is that there is just way too many people. If you dislike large crowds, you might be turned off visiting this festival. If you do not mind the large crowds and waiting about 45-60 minutes to get into the park, you will enjoy yourself. This year was their 47th Annual Yellow Daisy Festival. They have all types of cool arts and crafts, some of which is very reasonable in price. The food here is quite high, so consider eating before coming here, or bring food with you. On average you will spend about $10-18 for lunch here per person. I highly recommend coming to the festival before 11AM, though you are better off coming at 10AM when it opens. Things sell out fast, so don't come late. There are well over 400 vendors here, quite a few are locals as well. [Review #335] (Ninety Fifth Review of 2015)

This is by far my favorite festival in the Atlanta area. There are vendors that come from all over the country and some local vendors also. There are all sorts of items, from jewelry to woodworking to clothing to food to decorative items to furniture and more. Yes, it's crowded. Come early. Will you have to wait to get into the park? Yes. One year it took us about 45 min to get in and park...this year it took maybe 15 min. But that's to be expected with a festival this large. I suggest wearing comfortable shoes--I walked 7 miles! Also, bring water or expect to pay $3 per bottle. There are food trucks and other food vendors--or you can bring some snacks if you don't want to purchase.

My happy place. If you want sterling silver, stop here.

NOT SO MUCH... This year I attended the Yellow Daisy Festival for the first time in approximately 12 years. I was hoping to see that it had really grown and had lots of great stuff to see and buy. I was a bit disappointed. My husband and I arrived very early so we were able to use the really cool restrooms that look as if they belong in someone's home. They were very clean and air conditioned. They also had the traditional outdoor facilities that you typically see at these events and the separate sinks. You will see the facilities off to your left as soon as you enter through the gates. You will want to start here before going further. The food dining area contained a number of options and there were covered tables for you to sit and dine in the shade. So once you leave this area, it's work. You will literally be walking up hill and around in circles for a couple of hours to see everything. This festival has a country, shabby chic vibe so if you are looking for something a bit more sophisticated, this is not your festival. There were quite a few vendors selling costume jewelry and homemade decor items. I was specifically interested in purchasing sterling silver jewelry which was quite challenging because there was literally one vendor selling silver. Lots of stainless steal and other cheap materials. I did purchase a really nice pair of malachite earrings but was a bit disappointed that he only sold pendants and earrings, no bracelets or rings. We attended on Friday morning and were there shortly after 9am but the festival actually starts at 10. We wanted to move around unimpeded because we know that this is a popular festival and would get busy quickly. Although we missed the entertainment portion of the festival that started later in the day we were fine because we were getting hot and were ready to head home. If you go, dress lightly and wear comfortable sandals and by all means, arrive early. Also, if you are on a serious shopping mission and will be purchasing larger pieces, you may consider taking a wagon for convenience. Happy Shopping!

My friend has a pass to Stone Mountain Park and invited me to come along. I am a festival fiend so I was very happy to. Traffic was heavy getting into the park by early afternoon. There are police directing traffic to a certain degree. Most of the lots were full so basically there were just telling people to keep going. But eventually traffic control ends and you are left on your own. We ended up going around the whole mountain trying to find a spot close enough. Once we got around almost to the beginning, my friend stopped and asked an officer with exasperation what we should do. She told us we could park in the grass off a nearby road. Thank goodness! We were close enough to walk to the festival, but they also provide shuttle service to many lots in the park. By the time we arrived, they were all out of bags. Bummer. We were able to get some free coupons and food samples though. A plus of this festival is how well organized and planned it is. I loved the maps throughout the festival. So helpful. There were a number of cute items, but nothing I really wanted. I only ended up buying food lol - an almond croissant and a King of Pops pop. I would revisit in a future year though.

Not too crowded, we went in a Sunday. Lots of different types of Art and Jewelery to choose from. Good selection of food vendors as well.

It was easy to find with plenty of parking, and although it looked like they were preparing for an event later that evening, everything was still open and running smoothly. The property was clean and well-kept, with live music set up and playing outside, which added to the atmosphere. We ordered at a counter. I chose the sweet selection and my daughter chose the white wine flight. Each flight included four 2 oz pours and cost $60 total. We were informed there was also a food truck on-site. We tried the pimento cheese dip and hummus platter--both were enjoyable, though a bit pricey (I don't recall the exact amounts). The vineyard has a large covered patio as well as another seating area with sun shades. Most tables were occupied, and several guests had brought their dogs, which added a relaxed, welcoming feel. While I enjoyed the overall experience, I did find the wines and food a bit on the expensive side, especially given the bottle prices listed on the tasting menu (ranging roughly from $36 to $75). I didn't end up purchasing any bottles for that reason. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and a nice way to spend Father's Day. I'd consider coming back again--possibly in the fall, and bringing my dog next time.

I was pleasantly surprised that there was no entry fee for the gallery! I did make a donation, though (you should consider it too!). The show was pretty good, though all were priced out of my range. My wife and I enjoyed browsing the displayed works, though. There was also a plein air exhibit downstairs, which we checked out. Wowza!! I am shocked with all the low ratings for the Laser show at Stone Mountain in Georgia…read more Did I check into the wrong Yelp page or something? What I watched at Stone Mountain on April 19, 2025 was called Dino Fest!! It was a Drone and Light Show with fireworks!! The show lasted about 30 minutes, and it was SPECTACULAR!!!! The day we went, it was the last day that they were having the Dino Fest show. Sorry folks!! They change the Lasershow themes several times a year I believe. I liked everything about the show. It was such a unique setting. The light show is projected onto the mountain itself. Having Stone Mountain and the Confederate Memorial carving as a sort of screen for the show was pretty awesome. We found an empty spot on the humongous and beautifully green Memorial lawn to watch the show. The lawn was very comfy!! Absolutely enjoyed the show from start to finish. Music was synchronized wonderfully with the drone and light show. Visually STUNNING on such a large scale!!!! Highly recommend that when you go to Stone Mountain that you watch whatever Drone and Light Show that they have going on at the time. Unfortunately, the shows are not on everyday so make sure to check their website first.

She's very personable and funny. Very caring. She is also very talented and has a knack for teaching in various ways that help you understand everything. She is a wonderful intuitive worker. Her life is devoted to Divination and she is also the author of a couple books, a magazine, and some video series. She puts people first. She made learning easy for me and was very encouraging and patient when there was something I didn't understand. This was something I ended up having a true skill in, and it came to me with ease. But, it would not have come as easily without Atalanta guiding me and breaking it down. She is one of the best Spiritual teachers that I have had And I look forward to staying in touch. I'm so glad that I know how to throw bones now and it has become my favorite form of divination, hands down!! I am happy to have connected with her and have gotten to know her over the time I've talked with her. She is SO amazing. If you're thinking about learning some thing from her, she is the perfect teacher. If you're thinking of purchasing things from her, like the bone kits, she has very reasonable prices, and I know that she cares for them while they are with her. She has so much respect for the animals that the bones came from and that's huge to me. They should be respected. if you were thinking about getting a reading from her, she is spot on every time.
