We hired Andrew and his yellow house team for photography and videography for my september 2020 wedding on Fire Island. They were such professionals leading up to and during the event. Especially during these crazy COVID times, they did such a great job making my husband and I feel at ease that they had everything taken care of. I am so impressed by all of the candid photos they were able to capture. Through their photos and videos I can recall every moment of our special day and I am so thankful that we will have them to look back on forever. They had a great mix of staged shots, candids and responded happily to some of the requests we also had. We told the photographers in advance that we wanted to take some sunset pictures by the water. They were so on top of it and took SO many beautiful sunset pictures as the sun was going down. WE JUST GOT OUR WEDDING VIDEO BACK and have watched it every night so far. Every time it's made me cry. Yellow House Images shot so much raw footage inconspicuously, we honestly had no idea during the wedding that they were even there but ended up with a video with perfectly spliced emotion and images. I think their cinematography should win an Oscar! Captured all the important moments and juxtaposed it with an eye for emotion so deft it took my breath away, again and again. Especially loved -- the music, the time-lapse images throughout the night, the getting ready montages, the father/daughter dance juxtaposed with the mother/son dance, the cake cutting, the bride and groom walk alone, the dancing, everything, . Working with Andrew and his team couldn't have been any easier and we were SO happy with the quality and content of our video! We decided to do a video pretty late in the game but Yellow House was extremely accommodating. The drone footage was amazing and the videographers were professional and worked well with our photographers to get the best shots. The editing process was also easy and fun. Andrew and his dream team worked with us for our wedding and we are so incredibly happy to have found them. I really wanted a photographer who focused on candid shots because I think they tell a more sincere story than staged photos. As soon as I saw their website, I knew they were for me. They don't just shoot photos, they shoot life in motion. They capture feelings, and right at the perfect moment. They're just brilliant!! Not sure why this guy has any 5 star reviews?? They must be relatives. He is a very personable guy and seemed to do a good job taking the pictures. Although, He showed up late to take pics of bridesmaids and missed a lot. Good luck getting your album. Your uncle might be cut out of the picture. Paid $7,200 and then I'm told that was for the cheap shutter fly album. With only a handful of pictures. That was not the album we were shown at the interview( beautiful leather bound album). So the shutter fly album took over one year to get. Then after many complaints to him and the venue that had his work displayed, he agreed to give us a better album. Now at about 1.75 yrs later we got a slightly upgraded album were you slide in the pictures, we get an album with the wrong wedding date imprinted and still just a small handful of pics. What care was taken for a once in a life time event( that was a question in case you were wondering)! Please Find a different photographer in my opinion. read more

Yellow House Images is the most incredible photography studio I have ever worked with and being in hospitality, I have worked with many! My husband and I met Andrew, the owner and main photographer, through our good friend as he shot their wedding and we loved their work. We booked our engagement shoot with him and the photos were absolutely breathtaking. They captured our connection and essence as he shoots more candid and natural photos, not as strict posed as others. There is more of a flow and natural feel to his work. We moved forward with having him and his crew shoot our destination wedding in Mexico and it was hands down our favorite piece of treasure from our wedding! He captured every moment from the start to finish and we couldn't be happier. His main counterpart Teddy and him (along with 1 other) were a dream come true! Never invasive but captured the sweetest, funniest, most personable moments of the weekend with our family and best friends. We hired them to shoot photos and video for our rehearsal dinner, the entire wedding day (a good 12 hours!) and a trash the dress shoot later. There wasn't a single moment that they didn't capture our emotion and love perfectly and naturally. All of our guests were blown away with not only their work but how incredibly kind, professional and personable they were! They fit right in with our group and everyone enjoyed their company the entire weekend. Our wedding was amazing in every way possible and choosing to go with Andrew and his team was the best decision we made!
