No need to look at any other photographers out there, if youre on long island, this is your best bet. Reasonable prices. Our wedding was 11/11/18, post wedding, completely unsolicited review. The 4 Best points of the day: 1) Trisha and her second shooter Connie, were absolutely flexible, professional and unphased by some morning delays. Plans changed on the fly, and they were SO reassuring and helpful. They worked extremely hard to de-stress all of us, and ended up getting a ton of great pictures. The rest of the event went well after some morning issues regarding make-up and bridal hair prep not being done on time. 2) When we were on the dance floor they werent in the way. Just present (having a fun time) not intrusively in the way like you've seen some photographers/videographers. They were just this fun energy, sometimes dancing, laughing, joking... they looked like they were having a good time shooting and enjoying the wedding! At the end of the night, we couldnt think of any time where they intruded on the moment. Just took in everything through their cameras. It was really remarkable. 3) Preliminary photos we saw were outrageously good. We got a bunch of teasers back, and they made us look great! 4) Energy was positive and fun. Never pushy, very kind and directive in the way they wanted you to pose to get your best angles. Constantly adjusting clothing and making sure everything in the shot was perfect. So let me start by a few strong points of him, as well as my honest review. -Professionalism: Danny has been doing this a while, and I felt that everything he does, he wants quality, perfection, and I can really tell he took pride in his works. Danny constantly asked about my vision of the wedding, how I wanted it to be, gave advices about the settings, planned ahead and walked me through. He has been to so many weddings and he gave me his honest observations such as when it comes to family photos it wasn't a chaos trying to find everyone; and he would spend some hours prior to the wedding at the venue trying to figure out which spots are great for photos. -Communication: I started reaching out to him about a year before the wedding, and Danny was very responsive, I get the answers right away within the day. -Quality: Danny always tries to capture the best moments, there were a few times I saw he was just sitting down to get a drink for a few seconds and he was on his feet again. The photos came out better than I expected. -Danny brings a very energetic vibe to the party. He wasn't just some guy you hire just to show up, snaps a few hundreds photos and then meh whatever. The day before my wedding, he said he wanted to take some photos at Valley of Fire, which is an hour away, I asked him if he was sure since it was super hot especially in suits and wedding gowns, and it was kinda far! He went "This is your wedding, I want you to have a great memory. Don't worry". I mean, this guy flew from East Coast to Las Vegas, arrived a few days early to look for places for my pre-wedding photos. He drove to Valley of Fire the day before and said this was it. I don't know if I ever met any photographer with that kind of energy. Ok this part is about my honest/suggestions for people who haven't met Danny yet. Since he wants perfection, quality and best photos: he often will direct you and your guests so that he can capture everything. To us, we were totally for it, I'm not a professional in photography or know anything about it. And there's someone who already planned and did everything? I'm sold, I had other stuff to worry about on my wedding day. Again, thank you Danny for your time, and your work.

Danny and I went over details prior to the wedding and he sent a complete schedule down to the minute. I was very intimidated to say the least, and not to mention I'm awkward and hate photos. Danny and his team are amazing, they are truly gifted and will do anything to get the shot. He got all the pictures I wanted, and we made the most of the rainy day we had. We had time to go to our cocktail hour but decided to keep talking photos because we knew Danny was getting the magic behind the camera. Really unfortunate that I am editing my first review, because I did have a nice first experience…read morebut with COVID this sure changed June Photography. I scheduled a session in February for March 2020, but due to COVID the session had to be canceled. I reached out to the owner June in May 2020 and requested a refund since we were moving out of state and she said no. I said okay I understand but COVID was not any of our faults, I would reschedule later when it was safe and make the few hour trip. She said, you have until June or you lose your deposit. I said what? NYC is not even in phase 1 yet at the time and it was almost June 2020. I had to fight to extend my sessions schedule time frame date to July (literally beg for this to be extended through the summer but she would not budge), and the owner did not even want to do that despite governor and mayor mandates. Anyway, I said I would drive 2 hours and make the session happen if it was safe to do so. After several emails, she finally agreed to extending the timeframe to sometime in July, and I said I would reach out in a few weeks once we know what is going on with the pandemic. Now fast forward to mid June, and NYC is still in phase 1. I emailed June Photography and asked her if we could push my session 8 days later (to August 8 or anytime after that, whatever worked for her) because I was pregnant and wanted to safely get my hair treated and be out of the dangerous first trimester I was facing as a high risk pregnant woman. I had my previous son at 33 weeks, so I am worried about pre term labor again. June said there is nothing she can do and refused to work with me to offer an August date, which is just a few days after her unreasonable July timeframe. I explained to her I have a high risk pregnancy and begged her via email to extend her unreasonable July deadline just a few days so I can keep myself and my baby safe, but no she would not. After throughly reviewing the contract, it clearly states that I have two reschedule credits (those which I never used) so she is not abiding by that part of the contract. In addition there is a clause that mentions if an emergency or act of God happens (which HELLO COVID IS a national pandemic emergency/act of God) and if we cannot agree on a date together, I am entitled to my refund back. Two options June both said she WILL NOT DO! She will not let me use my reschedule credits and will not refund despite the emergency. This is really unreasonable and so unfair given what is going on world wide. I wanted to support her business, I wanted to take the photos even if it meant driving two hours away, but she made it so hard for me to work with her. I know this is a stressful time and everyone is overwhelmed but I do not deserve to be treated this way. All I did was ask for a few days beyond the hard deadline she gave me (which she told me to schedule a session by July 31 or lose your money even though NYC was not even in phase 1 at the time and had no timeline as to when phase 1 would even begin) to make my session happen. My main concern is to keep my unborn child and I safe! If COVID was not happening or I was not expecting this would not be an issue, but unfortunately this was handled very very wrong and I plan to contact my bank regarding this transaction and provide all the emails of what happened and the contract as well. Because of this situation, I do not recommend June Photography at all and suggest you look into another for your photo needs if this is how she is going to treat her customers during a pandemic that are high risk. This pandemic surely changed her and impacted her ability to work well with her customers, which is really sad and disappointing.
