He took a variety of photos ranging from individual to large group (~30 people) as well as from formal to fun. He was patient with the little kids and the wind although ultimately my hair had to be pulled back for a bit. He scouted our venue for the best locations and got our photos back in under 3 weeks. This is a long overdue review that I should have done. Danny helped us with our wedding two years…read moreago in Las Vegas and we did not have to worry about a thing about photography/videography. So let me start by a few strong points of him, as well as my honest review. -Professionalism: Danny has been doing this a while, and I felt that everything he does, he wants quality, perfection, and I can really tell he took pride in his works. Danny constantly asked about my vision of the wedding, how I wanted it to be, gave advices about the settings, planned ahead and walked me through. He has been to so many weddings and he gave me his honest observations such as when it comes to family photos it wasn't a chaos trying to find everyone; and he would spend some hours prior to the wedding at the venue trying to figure out which spots are great for photos. -Communication: I started reaching out to him about a year before the wedding, and Danny was very responsive, I get the answers right away within the day. -Quality: Danny always tries to capture the best moments, there were a few times I saw he was just sitting down to get a drink for a few seconds and he was on his feet again. The photos came out better than I expected. -Danny brings a very energetic vibe to the party. He wasn't just some guy you hire just to show up, snaps a few hundreds photos and then meh whatever. The day before my wedding, he said he wanted to take some photos at Valley of Fire, which is an hour away, I asked him if he was sure since it was super hot especially in suits and wedding gowns, and it was kinda far! He went "This is your wedding, I want you to have a great memory. Don't worry". I mean, this guy flew from East Coast to Las Vegas, arrived a few days early to look for places for my pre-wedding photos. He drove to Valley of Fire the day before and said this was it. I don't know if I ever met any photographer with that kind of energy. Ok this part is about my honest/suggestions for people who haven't met Danny yet. Since he wants perfection, quality and best photos: he often will direct you and your guests so that he can capture everything. To us, we were totally for it, I'm not a professional in photography or know anything about it. And there's someone who already planned and did everything? From the very beginning John went above and beyond what could be expected. Beyond being our photographer, we always felt as if he was a partner in planning our perfect day. For starters, John's work is phenomenal. He (and his assistant) shoot wonderfully, with a great sense for lighting, background, color, etc. He caught every shot you can imagine, with a perfect blend of planning and spontaneity ... from the unbelievably beautiful formal shots to the wonderful unknowns which showed my husband and I, as well as all of our guests having the time of their lives! The wonderful memories of our perfect day are "sparked" and enhanced every time we look at our album or other pictures displayed in our home. In terms of being our partner, John was there from the beginning. Whatever question we had, whether or not it was related to photography, he was more than willing to listen, provide advice, and lend a hand. We wanted to take some of the formal pictures before our ceremony, so John created a special moment for Gregg and I to see each other for the first time on our wedding day. To say that I felt that Gregg and I were the only two people in the world at that moment is an understatement ... but John was there somewhere and he caught the tears of joy in my husband's eye and the magical love between us. He also helped us to make our ceremony totally unforgettable! Gregg is an avid cyclist, and John helped us to surprise all of our guests, including our entire wedding party, by having Gregg ride his bicycle down the aisle; and to make sure the bride had her special moment, John remembered that I was a runner and did a lot of strength training - so spontaneously at the wedding, had me drop down and do push-ups - in my gown! And he caught it all in the pictures. John was unquestionably an integral part of our day. In addition to his creativity, skill, and talent as a photographer, John has a special way of connecting with people and making a special day even more unique. Everyone at the wedding who interacted with John loved him; and those who have seen the pictures can't say enough about how incredibly beautiful they are. I still don't know how he did it, but like magic he turned two relatively camera-shy people into stars for the day! While he captured every moment of the day ... you never knew he was there! We did a multi generational shoot this past Saturday and the patience Chao exhibited was that of a saint. His energy levels put a toddler's to shame and he will not give up until he has found a way to capture the image he is seeking perfectly. We were a tough group- a grandma with a tin meniscus and broken elbow, a grandpa with mild cognitive impairment, a surly teen who did not want to be at a studio, and a crazy toddler who didn't want to sit still. Plus my husband and me ( who pestered him incessantly about wanting to not look so fat lol) . Chao still managed to get 98 spectacular shots that I had emailed to me by 7 pm the following day. Unreal. Sometimes I think there is a ridiculous misconception that this is an "Asian" wedding studio. Sure, the owners are Taiwanese BUT perfect English is spoken AND they have shot events at every amazing venue for every ethnicity all over the tri state area- check out the stunning photos on their website! Gorgeous. And I won't even begin to tell you how reasonable the pricing is. It has to be heard to be believed. We've used other studios in the past who have charged three times as much for a fraction of the photos. And the photographers have not been anywhere near as accommodating. I'd give them TEN stars if I could!

This man is the absolute BEST. He made us all feel so comfortable and also had us laughing nonstop. Chao is a true professional and it's easy to see how much he cares for his clients. There wasn't a single moment that was missed. He helped us to create so many great memories. I could write a novel about him because he made picture taking the least stressful experience my wife and I could've asked for.
