A few days ago, I saw a pair of white pants I liked in the window display and decided to stop in. When I asked if they had the pants in a "Large" size, the older woman working at the time (who may be the owner) looked at me and my body and very sharply (and rudely) said that this store is a boutique. She explained that if their store carried sizes larger than a size 10, it would no longer be considered a boutique. If the goal of this store is to leave potential customers feeling humiliated and shamed for their bodies, then I'd say they're doing a great job. Please shop at any of the other, actually inclusive, boutiques in Cocoa Village - in the case of our little town, one bad apple does not actually spoil the bunch. (And a quick side note: when my daughter later left a review on my behalf, it was removed for not being a "firsthand experience." Well, here I am, the woman who went into the store in the first place, leaving my review of my firsthand experience.)

the store is a cute little store, but the person who works there was so rude and followed typical…read moreracial stereotypes. my boyfriend and i are not from florida, but are visiting, and it was a cold day so we decided to go look in some shops as tourists do. important side note: my boyfriend always wears his sunglasses on the back of his head. so my boyfriend picks up one pair of sunglasses on this sunglass rack to try on and puts them back immediately after looking at himself (the lady is watching us the entire time). we look at a couple more things before deciding we're ready to leave. as we're leaving the lady comes up to me and my boyfriend and insists he take HIS sunglasses off of the back of his head and asks "are those mine" and we're both so confused because we hadn't barely even touched anything and we were in there for a maximum of 8 minutes (this interaction included). she then tries to take my boyfriends sunglasses from him. the whole time we were there, we felt uncomfortable and she was giving us dirty looks. i would not recommend shopping here while the older white lady is working. this is all so funny because the sign on the door says "no grumpy people" but this is the face selling their products in the store. some people are just miserable.

A wide array of women's and men's clothing, accessories, sunglasses, skate and surf gear, and gifts! There is even some local artists who have their own jewelry line. So lovely! The backyard patio is absolutely dreamy! It reminds me of a Southern California patio. There is beer on tap, and wine... yes you read that correctly! There is even a vintage Simpsons arcade game.
