I am SO grateful I found YellowDog printing. I'm a local artist/designer and print small batches of my artwork to sell at urban markets and street fairs at my booth, CallMeGrace.com. I've counted on them on multiple occasions, most recently for my artwork I sold as a vendor at my booth at Goldens in Golden. My account manager was Tina, who was so helpful, accommodating, and patient. I had a little health emergency in the middle of the week I promised my deliverables, and she bent over backwards to help me out, working alongside me with another vendor I was working with to get my products finished and completed for my deadline. On top of all that, their paper recommendations were excellent and the printing quality was top notch. Their pricing is competitive and I love that I can personally pick it up, see proofs, and talk to a human being and not a chat bot. AND, there are dogs to pet when you go in. So, DUH. Only spoke with these people on the phone, seemed to be high sales for business cards which had all the art. Giving a complete review would not be fair, yet it was obvious I was not heard when stating I had all my photos and copy of the original business card requiring some verbiage change. The huge put off was a $300 slap for art work, when it was to be the same card. This could have been a case of not hearing the customer clearly on a cell phone, or possibly over eager to sell or any other common issue when speaking for the first time on a cell at the car wash. TERRIBLE. Worst customer service! The lady who was working with us failed MULTIPLE TIMES in printing our proof and even when we're there, 2 other ladies can't figure out what paper she printed them on. It took weeks just to go over proofs since again, they had to reprint them on the correct paper (which was still incorrect). We settled on a different colored paper basing on what the lady described it to me as we were rushing to get our invites mailed. The outcome was totally different! Called them to inquire and was given different information by different staff. When one staff tried to pass the phone, we heard her and a couple others laughing in the background. The owner, Jenny called me the following morning, recanted the reprint due to "out of stock" paper and offered the refund. Said that everyone in the office was talking about me for 5 days "oh well since you first came here" and that her employee told her that I "stormed out" one time when that employee & I actually had a full on conversation (plus the employee clearly did not tell her the circumstances). The fact that she proudly had to tell me that (maybe thinking it would make me feel bad?) speaks so much on how she manages her company. Bottomline, if you're a regular person looking for some printing, they don't know how to deal with you as they "only deal with big companies". The owner herself said that. They'll just assume you know everything and blame you throughout the process when you get frustrated on things that were never explained or were not even what you asked for. read more

I couldn't be happier with my experiences at Yellowdog. Not only were they the cheapest quote by far for my job, but they were fast, the final product looks AMAZING, and there are three actual yellow dogs at the store, so you've got a good chance of petting at least one (if that's your thing. It is very much my thing to pet cute dogs). We needed to have our wedding table map printed, so it was a fairly simple but SUPER important (to us) job. We shopped around and got price quotes from 2-3 places, and Yellowdog was the cheapest but also the speediest with their reply. Once we told them we wanted to proceed, they started immediately and emailed us when it was ready to pick up. The whole thing was seamless and, again, puppers in the lobby. I wish I still lived in Denver, because I have tons of stuff printed at the big chains back in DC and it is always a pain and so expensive. Yellowdog made things easy and did a fabulous job--and didn't cost an arm and a leg. The storefront is kind of behind the Home Depot so use your GPS as it's easy to miss. read more

So I am an artist who was looking to get fine art prints and postcards made for the first time ever in my art career. I got quotes and meetings with quite a few print shops around town and they ranged from overpriced to complete apathy. I originally picked yellow dog because they prices were easily the best with the added bonus of the employees being pleasant. Little did I know I was about to embark on what will surely be a long lasting business relationship (and maybe even friendships, who knows?!) with the best printers in town. The art prints are stunning. As I had never had any printed before I just went with whatever their default options (paper etc.) for that type of project is and man was I floored at how great they were when I got the proofs. Also, as an artist the price is unbeatable. It's nice to know that I will be able to offer high quality prints at my art show for a reasonable price. When it comes to the postcards I had printed everyone was very patient with me while I went through the inner turmoil of deciding what kind of paper I wanted. They printed all of the proofs I needed while deciding to make sure I was 100% happy with what I was going to get. Also, the coloring of one of them was a little off and Olivia did a stellar job of pumping up the color and making it really sparkle. A true printing goddess that one! True to its name, an adorably Yellow Dog (Labrador Retriever) greets you at the door as you are warmly welcomed into this somewhat hard-to-find business behind the Home Depot off Santa Fe. Nevertheless, once you arrive, you feel confident your print job. They handle everything with ease, respect, and in such a timely manner. But the best part - it's really reasonably priced. My wife, who was an art quilter, passed away earlier this year. Her abstract art works were shown in numerous exhibits and she was highly respected in the art quilt community. I contacted Yellowdog for a quote to print 175 cardstock Save The Date postcards. My plan was to get a few quotes, compare, and go with the best deal. None of that was necessary. Meredith got back to me immediately, asked just a few questions and turned a quote around within a few hours. I had made some mistakes in my request which she fixed without any issue. My number fluctuated a few more times and she adjusted each time without questioning. When I sent my files to be printed, a proof was provided just a day or so later for me to come by and grab. Meredith made sure to come out and greet me and gave me the heads up about the boarder of my image and how it didn't look exactly as I wanted it to - this was an issue on my side with my artwork. She not only fixed the border (after I asked her to), but made it look even better. After approving the proof, my 175 postcards were ready just a few days later and looked amazing. The quality was more than I could've hoped for given the price and the customer service was unbeatable.
