We needed logo help for our new business. I contacted three different companies but ultimately choose Yellowdog Labs, for the following reasons: pricing was better than the other options, it had great Yelp reviews, I liked the style of their logos and brandings showcased on their website, and after sending me an initial quote, Dan followed up with me a few days later to see if I wanted to move forward or had any questions. Personally, I like that sort of proactive-ness in a business, and it won me over. As for the work itself, we are very pleased with our new logo. It is perfect for us, but nothing we EVER would have thought up on our own. It is obvious that Dan and his team understand what goes into a good logo design. Besides that, Dan was friendly and easy to work with, patiently making any small adjustments we wanted to try out. Having no clue who to turn to for logo design/consulting, I turned to yelp and saw YellowDog's stellar reviews. I am so happy I made the phone call. I was transferred to Ashley after speaking to the friendliest receptionist. Ashley asked me the right questions to determine my needs, and was 100% positive, outgoing, and super knowledgeable about their capabilities (i.e. equipment, turnaround time, in-house graphic designer's workload). In addition, Ashley responded with my proofs well-ahead of the delivery date. During our second meeting, we discussed revisions. I felt confident that she understood my revision requests because she was engaging and wrote down notes only after fully understanding my desires. Again, the revision was sent to me ahead of schedule. I appreciated the undertone of her message, encouraging me to speak up about any more necessary changes. However, no more changes were needed because Dan is excellent in his profession. He is their in-house magician of graphic design. During this whole process I sensed a vibe that their business wants my business to succeed. I will return because I do not ever have to doubt their pricing and timeliness. I called Yellow Dog after finding them on Yelp and reading a few good reviews. I was in search of a local Denver based printing company to handle the printing of our materials for a large conference in the downtown Denver area this past September. Kristen's prompt and thorough response to my initial emails won my business and throughout working with Kristen and the Yellow Dog team I gained confidence. When the order kept growing in scope and complexity I was so happy with the decision. It is not easy to turn over such an important piece of the meeting to a new vendor and Yellow Dog made the process easy. We ended up printing over 70 various sized foam core signs and posters and over a dozen pop-up banners. Additionally, we printed 1,500 - 6 panel folded agendas. We had some specific/unique requests and Kristen took the time to research and find options that met our needs and within budget. We were working on a tight deadline and Yellow Dog delivered quality work, met our deadlines and worked within our budget. In fact they met our printing deadlines even though we kept adding more signs and we were late getting them the artwork! Yellow Dog took great care in packaging everything up so it arrived in great shape and the detailed labeling of all the packages allowed my staff to quickly confirm all the materials were accounted for and distribute them throughout the venue. We had limited time for set up and all these details make a big difference. The Yellow Dog team did a superb job.
