Wow great service, Jeff Oeth picked up my car for an oil change and returned it. Couldn't of been easier.

I sent my truck in for service regarding lifter noise or a possible exhaust ticking that wasn't present when I bought my truck. Your team declared there was no noise, then upon discussion in person there is a noise but it's normal. After an in person in depth discussion with Travis he witnessed it stop after approximately 5 minutes of running which indicates clearly an exhaust seal warming up and sealing once hot enough or some sort of manifold issue. He admitted he did not even put my truck on a lift after having it all day, "apologized" and asked I return it the next morning so he could do so. I returned it the next morning thinking it's gonna get fixed, only to be told by Tony Batson via phone that nothing was found wrong and what do I want them to do throw parts at it? He also declared that "I was the problem" simply because I informed michelle upon drop off that it was insulting that the truck was there all day and hadn't even been put on a lift to properly diagnose. Instead of actually fixing the issue that Travis clearly noted while in person...I yet again get told nothing wrong with it and an unwarranted "you are the problem" bonus psychology evaluation from Tony Batson....I have notified the owners of Yemm and will provide negative feedback for any and all who wish to do business with YEMM....as this was all avoidable had the service department actually not kept my truck all day to not even put it on a lift and then ask me to return it knowing the problem and still not fixing the issue after clearly knowing it is an exhaust leak of some sort...Tony intentionally berating and or chastising me over the phone...you picked a real winner in Tony, etc Michelle being polite and courteous is about the only positive i have currently with this dealership. Sales isn't any better, I tried to buy a Truck there yet they wouldn't negotiate even so much as $1.00, so I took my money elsewhere. Ended up spending over 135k for two vehicles elsewhere when I wanted to support my local dealership originally. When you fail to negotiate at all is when I cannot entertain spending money with you. I have given this dealership multiple opportunities with trades and potential sales but each time their trade in offers are laughable at best, and recently failed to do any negotiating whatsoever! Sell privately like I did, I guarantee close to double or even triple what Yemm offers. They are so far apart from even a generic KBB trade in value(s) Apparently if you don't buy your vehicle from them, they don't want or prefer your business with the servicing of vehicle(s) either. read more

I can't believe this. I went into yemm today to get my FOBs from Amazon. They told me they can't cut them because different metal or I had to pay for the damage to their key cutter. It's just they want me to buy their BULLSHIT FUCKING $100.00 FOBs plus the cutting plus programming the keys what will cost about $200.00 per FOB. Drove from Fort Madison Iowa over to this dealership to get my trade evaluated and discuss a vehicle purchase. One that we talked online about for TWO WEEKS. We get there and the LOANED THE VEHICLE OUT! After driving over an hour, with an appointment these half asked dealers LOANED it out...THEN tried to say it was a different truck after MANY emails about the specific truck. Let me just start here. I have only taken the time to write maybe 3 reviews but this experience definitely needed to be written. At first I was prepared to write a bad one as our original salesman was prepared to bail on waiting for us to arrive. We traveled from Jersey to get a custom truck only yemm had. We were working with them for a few weeks. We ran into trouble with the rental we acquired and it's inability to handle our trailer. We could only travel at best 60 miles an hour so even leaving at 1030 pm we didn't arrive until 403 pm. We were met by William who had the truck prepared and ready and he had a great attitude. We then met Justin I believe was an owner. There hospitality and understanding of our circumstance was highly received. Not only did we buy a beautiful truck they told us all about the things going on in town and Justin also allowed us to store our trailer there for the night to go out and experience town. William offered and we excepted to lead us into town to show us the places we should go for dinner and stay. Sorry so lengthy but this needed to be shared. We felt like family and this dealership is by far the best, and we've bought many cars. Definitely worth a 16 hour drive. Would do it all over again. I really didn't want to leave a star at all. My daughter took her car in for a warranty repair. They didn't want to honor the warranty. After numerous calls, they finally said they would. Then was told the part was back ordered. Her car has been there for months. Yeah, that's not a typo...months as in plural! Go somewhere else. read more

If you live in the Galesburg area do yourself a favor and don't ever go to the Yemm dealership for a key. Hell, I wouldn't recommend going to them for anything, EVER. So I lost my keys in then river and needed a new one to bring retrieve my vehicle. They inform me I had to get the Jeep to their dealership before they could make me a replacement key. So I fork over $200 to get it towed there. It gets there Saturday in the early morning, and it was never touched until late Monday. They decided to FINALLY make a key for it late Monday, and attempted to program it once and it failed. Due to it being late, they were about to close I was given no choice but to go home. I go home and call Yemm and left a voice mail for their service manager. I told him I thought maybe someone else should try to program it, and perhaps they would have more experience. I get a call Tuesday saying that there must be something wrong with my Jeep because the key wouldn't program. They claimed they used two different keys with chips and it wouldn't program. He continued to tell me my only option would be to let them run a diagnostic scanner for $110 bucks to figure out the issue. I told them there was absolutely no reason anything would be wrong because I had zero issues with anything before I lost my original in the river. They continued to tell me I was wrong and my only option was to fork over more money for their scan. They also claimed nobody could ever get it to work without doing a Diagnostic Scan after informing me that they had tons of experience, and absolutely knew that %100 that it was my Jeep that had the issue. I told them to hold off, and I was going to research it. Turns out they were %100 WRONG!I almost gave in and let them do the diagnostic test, but then I thought better and called a locksmith out of Peoria. I told him the situation, and he said he'll get it done. Showed up 30 min later, tried to program the key Yemm gave me, and it didn't work. So he grabs a few chip keys that he had for the Jeep brand, and holds the chip up to the ignition and attempted to program them one by one until one worked. After 2 tries he finds one that programs to perfection. He was in and out of there in 10 min. He cut the key from the back of his van, ensure it worked then left. He even cut me a spare door key for free. All much cheaper than anything Yemmn wanted to charge me overall. Also I forgot to mention, the service desk employee at Yemm at first wasn't going to let the Locksmith work on my Jeep on their property, but changed his mind when I told him I'd push the my Jeep in the middle of the road if that was the case. So basically YEMM sold me the WRONG key for $150 dollars, couldn't figure out they gave me the wrong one, then tried to make me pay for a $110 diagnostic that would have told them they were wrong. Then after I refused their diagnostic scan they continued to tell me there was nothing they or anyone could do. Then after the Locksmith fixed it, the guy that sold me the key at Yemm wanted to tell me that their key was the right key and I was wrong. I then I go to return the key to their service dept because it was the wrong key and the guy that literally sold it to me on Monday told me he wouldn't return it unless I brought in the receipt. So I was forced to go back home and locate the receipt. I go back with the receipt and he goes back to some lady in the back, and comes back to me with a check written to my DAD. I told him that my name was David, and he wanted to argue with me about that. I said listen, I bought the Jeep from my Dad, the title is under my Name as I showed you, and you simply wrote it down wrong. He finally caves and comes back with a check for under my name. The entire experience was almost as if they wanted to scam me. They tried to manipulate me to pay more for their mistake. Did they apologize, nope? Admit mistake? Nope. They simply gave me a attitude, and seemed upset that they had to close out their ticket as if it bothered them to make it. I WILL NEVER AGAIN! read more

Purchased a truck November 8th 2022 from this place. 2 weeks later, I had engine codes show up. Took the truck to them and they had it for a day and said nothing was wrong with it. Codes showed VVT issues, oil pressure issues and turbo issues. Suddenly I get truck back and no codes or anything. Truck had 137k miles and now February 12th 2022 codes show back up at 143k miles. This time it makes a loud noise and starts blowing smoke from exhuast. Take to shop to be told engine failed and it needs a new one. I called for a week straight trying to figure out anything they can do. Guy is always gone. Now being told nope cause Eric the finance manager didn't offer extended warranty and I'm stuck with a $20k truck loan and now have to try to come up with another $9k for motor replacement. Cause 3 months has passed. Never again will I recommend this dealership. Don't buy cause if you have outside financing they don't offer you warranties and try to say they did. read more

Came in with my dad to look at a truck. The first red flag was the ad saying it was a local trade in and when I asked the gentlemen helping us he said it was just bought outright from the previous owner due to covid and him needing the money. The second red flag came when he said there has only been a couple of people interested in said truck but a different person is sales (this time a woman) stating the opposite that there has been a ton of attention on the truck yada yada. No one here is on the same page. We weren't happy with certain things on the truck and asked for it to be serviced and then to give us a follow up call and we would talk numbers and go from there. We never received a phone call back so we contacted them. We were told that someone else put a deposit down and that this truck that we had every intention of buying was being sold to another person before we could even get our simple request resolved as far as it being serviced. Fast forward to two days later we received a phone call from them stating that the guy that put his deposit down on this truck (after we clearly told the guy we wanted it but wanted it to go through the service first) had pulled his deposit and the truck was still for sale. If you want a dealership with ZERO integrity and sale associates that are on opposite pages and are anything but upfront and honest than definitely buy from Yemm. Just my two cents but I'd stay away and find a dealership with integrity and employees that are on the same page not just talking to talk. read more

Asked to put down a cash deposit to hold it for pick up on Saturday but its there "policy" they can't . Called us Friday at 5:30 to let us know it sold even though we were in the process of working out financing and purchasing the vehicle without even test driving it. I purchased a used work truck that came with a limited warranty. Driving home they day of purchase the truck began misfiring and throwing code p0300. I took it in and the so called qualified mechanic could not figure it out. I'm by no means a mechanic and I solved the issue. Even the they claimed the coils and plugs were good after inspection, they were shot. Plugs looked horrible. Any real mechanic that pulled the plugs would of seen their was an issue. My personal belief is they did nothing in order to push the repairs off past the warranty which they did. I replaced the coils, wires and plugs. B read more

I was very disappointed in the service I received through this dealership. I am a traveling nurses currently on assignment in the area and started having car trouble after an overnight shift. This dealership was recommended by local coworkers as the go to place. The positive at this point was that they were able to fit me in that morning which I greatly appreciated. After a $460 dollar "fix" I headed the hour home. However, my car continued to have issues into the next day overheating again leading me to have it towed home to my local mechanic. My mechanic discovered the original problem had not been fixed. All the fluids had leaked out again. I realize it is not always easy to determine an issue, but believe if they would have driven it to test the fix it would have been noticed. I have called the dealership multiple times to discuss my concerns, and am told they are either "out of the office" or "gone for lunch." After four promises of a returned call, I have yet to hear from the dealership. After having to pay additional charges to fix the real problem as well as a towing charge I feel very taken advantage of at this location. I was far away from my regular service provider and had trusted in the Chevy dealership to take care of this Chevy customer. read more

They have had my vehicle for 3 weeks. They are FULL OF EXCUSES as to why they haven't gotten to it yet. It's a warranty job and because I have warranty and a car to drive (that they did not provide) they keep putting others ahead of me. The biggest sob story gets your vehicle done first. Wish I would have know that, I would have told one better than the one they gave me. They don't return phone calls, they are short staffed, service counter girl that I was to call quit a week ago therefore I haven't heard from anyone and my messages haven't been returned. Again - stay away from here for service they can't be trusted to do what they say they are going to do. Robert Eldridge the service manager is the problem, the scheduler. Don't buy from here don't get service here! I had to call Chrysler and now have a claim #. I still don't have my vehicle and have been told next Tuesday (week 4) and had to fight for this. I have zero confidence in that statement. I would get on a plane to buy a new vehicle before I'd ever give them another penny and I've bought 3 vehicles from them! I feel sorry for the Service Tech people that work there and have to deal with these managers daily. If I hear the commercial one more time about how much YEMM cares about their customers - NO THEY DON'T.....ask the public you will find more than not that will tell you horror stories, ask their previous employees who worked there for years and quit! read more

I bought a 2009 Harley . had to take it back next moring manger boy Justin said take it to the Harley shop and we will have them fix it !so I payed half money down and there was a loan with a bank from iowa said 5percent good rate so I signed and then Friday of that week I went with jesse to the drivers lin facility to pay the taxes and plate transfer 725 tax I paid and 137 for plates and transfer thought every thing was goin to be allright but few days later found out someone missed up istead of a 2009 they had it as a 2019 at 5 percent so the loan contract was nul and void they wanted me to go with another bank in town but higher interest rate I said id have to think on that while the harly is is steal at the Harley shop so after a month bike is not fixed yet ihad enough I wanted my money back wanted to talk with owner rick yelm never did as of yesterday called and he still wont talk he just let Justin boy manger and not hes not truthfull so I wanted my money back there was no new bank contract signed he gave me money back but he would not give me my taxes back had some paper work filled out and said id have to send this to spingfield to get the tax money called the yesterday not good it could take 2 years or who nos. if I will ever get it. I was screwed out of 725 dallors I could use and out the 137 plate and transfer! this is all true no one will talk to even still owner rick yelm so I will have to go fill papers for small claims and have are day incourt ive done it before Justin girly just laughed at me the hole time I talked to him yesterday said I threatin him . reported it yesterday to a police officer he said I did no wrong!! read more

Yemm auto always takes much longer than it should to get your vehicle worked on. My wife had an appointment at 9:00 am this morning to get four tires replaced. It is now noon and they have said that it will still be a couple more hours. This will be the last vehicle I purchase through Yemm or have serviced there. I have had the tires replaced on my SUV from a different shop in town who were much nicer and had me in and out quickly and efficiently. read more

I will never buy a car from a dealership again after my experience with yemm. they added so many insurances and things to my loan I could not even keep up with everything they had us signing, my wife had worked with the salesman at maytag years ago so we thought we would buy a newer car and be treated fairly with them understanding what all the emplyees had been threw losing their jobs. we have been rebuilding our credit rating and doing really good and still are but when we left the salesman and went into the financing office friendships left and greed took over, they sign you up for so many things you don't need you feel like you were just raped when you leave. we love the car are having a few minor issues with it but will never deal with a dealership again. shame on yemm read more

Yemm was diligent in helping me find a new vehicle. My initial intentions were to get a used vehicle that Yemm didn't necessarily have, but were willing to find one. Yemm then suggested a brand new vehicle for about the price of the used one I was looking for. I'm very satisfied for their efforts to find me a brand new car.
