Tony B. From YES Contracting came by July 24 and gave a verbal quote to realign our double metal door. An email quote was to follow but never did, despite 2 requests from me! I called Mr. Handyman, who arrived earlier than their original promise and fixed our door that same day. David C. at Mr. Handyman quoted a lower price than YES Contracting and did a great job. We'll be using Mr. Handyman from now on. New Note: I just saw 2 "Yes Contracting" signs nailed to a utility pole. This is dangerous to utility workers and is ILLEGAL! (Tennessee legal code 2-19-144). I contacted Yes with a small leak. Tony came and looked over a small patch we had made with caulking and felt that was the issue and gave us good advice and maintaining our roof. I had a repair done on two overflow flat roof drains and the work has solved a problem we had for years. It did take a few emails to get a contract worked out but in the end the results have been good. read more

Around the middle of 2022, I developed a leak in my roof. I called YES contracting and the service rep came out a few days later. He said I had a bow in my roof that needed repair, along with the leak. Total cost, $1,100, which I paid up front. The first repairman arrived in a compact car, didn't have the tools he needed, didn't seem to have any idea what he was supposed to do, and couldn't speak any English. I called the office and they said the service rep would come out and supervise the next repairman. Second visit, two men, both of whom couldn't speak English, came out in a compact car, armed with a few tools and 1 4'x8' plywood board. No rep or supervisor as promised. Working through a friend of theirs, I explained what had to be done. They said they didn't understand and left without repairing my roof. They left the board behind. Third visit, two more repairmen show up in a compact car. One of them spoke a little English. They had no idea what needed to be done. I explained the best I could, showed them the leak, and let them go to work. They repaired the leak but never touched the bow in the roof. In the end, I paid $1,100 for a 2'x2' piece of plywood and roof repair. The worst service I've ever had in this area. Would not recommend YES if they were the last roofing contractor in the area. Why am I writing this review now? Because I have another leak in the roof and I remembered I'd never given a review of YES. read more

In Nov 2022 the front side of my roof was sagging. I hired YES using Tony Brown to fix the problem. The cost was $2410. The repair had a one year warranty. On Christmas, 25 months later rain came pouring in. I called them and Tony came out only to tell me that the valley on the back side of the chimney was leaking because of cracks in the valley. This valley was in the area where the workmen needed to walk to fix the flashing around my chimney. So I paid another $2500 to have this valley repaired. In Feb. when we got heavy rains, the first part was leaking. Tony came out and said he found some nail problems and since it wasn't currently raining he said he thought he fixed it. The other day, in the same place we hear drip, drip, drip and look and sure enough more leaking. I hired another contractor out to see if he could help because I knew that YES would not be taking responsibility for their own shoddy workmanship. These are the photos I received from the new contractor on how poorly this company did my work. I had planned to use them when the day came that I needed a full new roof but there is no chance of that now and I hope my review helps. UPDATE Nov 4, 2022 In continuation with my review, and if you've read it all, you'll know that I had mentioned their workers knocking off one of our shutters. Well, as usual with their work, it fell off a few days ago, so we had to re-install it. In doing so, I was up on the ladder and noticed their vinyl repair we had hired them to do. All that was required was to snap the vinyl back in place but for whatever reason, they utilized j-channel and to secure it, the cut into my existing vinyl and caulked it. Unbelievable, but true. Picture will be posted of their exterior solution. Also, while up on the ladder, I got another view of their lack of quality work on our already disastrous new roof. I'm not sure who'd be at fault on this one, the roofer, or the vinyl repair crew. It'll probably be me since I've complained so much about their work and received nothing for it but leaks. This picture will also be posted. I've noticed their google reviews which I need to update mine, but so many of their 5 star ratings are coming from employees, relatives, workers, etc. Be it known, companies can, and some do, buy reviews as well. I'm not saying this happened in this case, just food for thought. Google it or better yet, BING it and research for yourself. In closing and as mentioned before, Y.E.S. Contracting services are just that. They take your job you hired them for and contract it out to 1099 contractors. Just say No to YES. read more

Thomas, who's company originally put the roof on my 2 year old home, came out the day after I called to inspect the roof after recent hail storm. I thought there was nothing wrong with my home when I looked around but I wanted an expert opinion. He showed holes in the window borders, dents in downspouts, and potmarks in the roof shingles. He agreed to be here when my insurance adjuster comes, which I really appreciate. If his workers are as efficient and helpful as him when the repairs are done, I'll be even more thrilled. read more
