I had an appointment there at 4:00 on Tuesday 3/3. As I was almost at the consent portion at the end of the questionnaire, an error symbol popped up. I stood up to let somebody know & a guy with dark hair & a low bun came over and said"what did you do?!" Not very nice to put it mildly. I told him I didn't touch anything to which he remarked "uh okay" again nasty. Then he goes to the other nasty older lady with blondish hair, says something & she says "what, did she screw it up"? Not even 10 feet from me! He comes back & says "well now I have to wait for someone with the authority to reset this bc I can't do it, I don't know what you did" I tell him again, I didn't do anything to which he says " well now you have to wait". I couldn't believe this guy. So I wait for about 25 mins, not great but whatever, as he and the blondish lady are literally talking about me! Looking at me, looking at each other m, looking at me, rolling their eyes. Even making eye contact w/ me & holding it! Unreal. So the man they were waiting for Paul apparently returns, the guy with the bun comes over, resets the computer for me and says nasty again " if you have another issue, ask someone, don't touch anything"! With dramatic arm gestures like I'm a child. I start the questionnaire over again annoyed as he returns to the lady & starts talking about me again! At this point I've had it. I literally stood up, started putting on my coat when the lady comes over & says "is everything ok"? I said "no, I'm done here, I'm going to go to the Melville location. She says "the computer is the same there" I say"it's not the computer, you people are awful" I'm not someone who complains or causes drama whatsoever but at this point, I was so angry at the unprofessional demeanor of these people. I live in Massapequa where this location is & it was so bad I drove all the way to Melville at the peak of rush hour in the rain, that's how bad it was. The staff in Melville were great.chris behind the desk, Jennifer, and the other lady with the strawberry blond hair I didn't get the name of. Thank you so much for making my experience with you guys professional & extremely pleasant, you were so great. I honestly feel these other 2 in massapequa should not be dealing with people. They should be put at a desk behind the scenes & do data entry. I'm sorry this is so long but I had to get this out, I've haven't been able to get it out of my head.

They probably have a set of nightstands, or a bench to put your shoes on. Maybe even a swanky vintage dresser from the 40s? Live out your mid century modern dreams, or collect pieces to create your own story. I've wandered in to search for props for parties (maps, globes, vintage luggage for a bridal shower!), to fill the gap in spaces in my own place (unique beer steins are where it's at) and even to get some basics (A set of folding chairs! A must have PRE-COVID). Prices are higher than a garage sale, for sure. I know you CAN haggle with them but I honestly won't. They're a charity/nonprofit. The last time I spoke with the owner I could tell both him and his staff had huge hearts. They honestly care about people and need as much resources (and capital) to bring about the the most change... Stop in. You won't regret it! Even if you don't take any treasures home.

Marcus is very knowledgeable and knows his stuff, Marcus provided one on one interaction from start to finish. Showing me several options in case one product didn't fit. Marcus is a great listener, a customer service representative must have that distinct quality, that's why Marcus was able to offer alternative selections. Marcus worked hard to deliver exemplary customer service that concluded with a sale. At checkout they have a monitor that informs you of what register you are to step to. It speaks the number. How cool is that. I would say, if you need anything from A to Z that deals with high technology or electronics, the micro center is where you need to be. The kids go into a groups of 2-3 and takes turn going to sectioned areas to play with the trained pups. I was afraid that my daughter with eczema would have a scratching fit from the dogs, but they were all well-groomed and no odor at all. All the toys I touched didn't feel grimy and old. I can tell they take good care of this facility. A big plus is it's air conditioned and plenty of seats for the adults! Lots of times at kids' parties, the parents have to find odd things to sit on or stand, which is not a problem here. If you are looking to throw a birthday party, this is your place!

I searched online, found this center, and scheduled a session in the interim. I got to spend time with the sweetest dog, who snuggled up and hung out with me for the duration of my time there. It was perfect for me. Vicki and the dog's owner listened to my situation and offered suggestions and information for proceeding with obtaining an ESA dog of my very own. A second dog and his owner came by too and I was able to see them practicing in the agility/obstacle course pen and play with him as well. I haven't felt so relaxed in a long time, it really made my day. What a wonderful place and caring people!
