The guava tea's color was totally off (bright red) and tasted so sour. The oolong tea's foam had white clumps which meant the milk/cream was expired... The gentleman making our drinks seemed like he did not want to be there. He was on his phone most of the time-- didn't say a single word to us. Finally, do not use the bathroom here. Ordered the peach soda pop drink with crystal boba and got some pancakes with custard to snack on. The peach drink tasted really good and refreshing. It also had some peach bits which were good but it looks like there was not a lot of crystal boba in there as a result. I've had the pancakes before and they're really good but this time around it seems like there wasn't enough custard filling in there. Used to be best in the region with really wonderful management, but the owners opened a second location further south and began to hire staff with no tea experience and no oversight into the day-to-day. Now the store is dirty, systems don't work right (even the claw machine is broken), and not a single item on the menu is tasty or consistent anymore. It is a little small and seating is limited, but I've never had to wait a long time for my order or could not find a seat. I love the mango pomelo sago and think this is the Yi Fang location they nail it the best at (I've been to some locations in California). Got the Yi Fang black tea with boba, and tried (honestly don't really remember) their version of brown sugar milk tea and what I think was called the rosellete with lemon. The drinks was pretty decent, not too sweet and you can tell the focus is on the tea. I like the classic black tea more than the others that I tried. However the boba was hard and firm on the inside which I was a little disappointed about. Inside was clean, spacious and very cute. They also have some games you can borrow for free. read more

Since the manager isn't managing, the two cashiers don't greet customers when they walk in. Instead, both are on their phones. One was sitting between the counter to have a loud chat over the phone. If I could rate this place zero stars, I definitely would. I'm always open to all kinds of drinks, but this time, it wasn't good. My group of friends and I all got drinks, yet they all tasted watered down and half-assed. The Indian guy who was taking my order was on the phone, and was talking to somebody while I was requesting service. I don't even think he was taking an order on the phone, just talking to another fella in his airpods. When I was unsatisfied with my drink, he literally said he couldn't do anything about it, but still grabbed it and just added a crap ton of sugar to make up for it. Happy to have another great boba tea option by the house. It was pretty empty though when I went. Maybe this location does not get a lot of foot traffic since it's not connected to Jusgo market. I tried the Taro Green Tea drink with grass jelly and 50% sugar. Love love that it's fresh taro purée and not the purple powdered stuff. I tried the taro latte at their Frisco location but I think it's more refreshing to get it as a green tea, not as milky and heavy as the latte. I first tried it in California, and I fully expected that it would take years to make it to north Texas... \\ yi fang fruit tea, 50% sweet - easily my go-to - love that it comes with real fruit! \\ mango pomelo sago, 50% sugar - this sells out quickly at other locations... glad it's still not as well known yet to north Texas, heh - creamy and fresh, a little tart from the mangos \\ taro latte, no sugar - love the actual taro chunks! - i find that the taro is sweet enough for me without need for any more sugar \\ double tea latte, 50% sugar - i get this for days when i want something with a stronger tea flavor, which i think holds its own better against the milk \\ brown sugar pearl matcha latte, 50% sugar - the molasses flavor of the brown sugar pearl goes so well with the fragrant, bitter matcha - this drink is one of the prettiest for photos! \\ orange fruit tea, 30% sugar - they make this with freshly squeezed orange juice! - i was worried the orange juice would be overpowering, but i was glad to find that because it's natural orange juice instead of a concentrate, the tea fragrance still comes through, making for a complex aromatic aftertaste \\ egg waffle - the taro and custard are both tasty--i think i like the texture of the taro slightly more - these come out hot and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, but i also like the chewy texture after letting them cool For the sugar level at Yi Fang, I think 50% is considered "normal" for a lot of their drinks. There are only 4 toppings (pearls, green tea jelly, sago, and grass jelly) to choose from, but a wide variety of drinks to make up for it. Great spot for boba! I feel like the boba market is flooded at the moment, but it's always nice to have options. One of my go to drinks is taro milk tea, but this flavor is not available in milk tea. Instead I got a regular milk tea with boba and salty cream. The boba is a lot smaller than other places, so you get a lot more since a few will fit in the straw at a time. Overall the drink was tasty, but it felt like a boba attack every time I took a sip! The salty cream on top was delicious! You haven't gotten salty cream on your boba, DO IT! I would like to go back and try a fruit tea, they had a lot of cool options. The egg pancakes are a standout! I want to go try every flavor! If you have tried taiyaki, it exactly like that. Different shape, and smaller. It's about $6 for 5, and you can only get on flavor in all 5. I wish you could order different flavors so you could try more than one at a time! We ordered the milk tea and boba filling. It was tasty, but this filling didn't add much flavor. I want to try cheese or custard next. I think those ones will bring more flavor to the table! Great atmosphere, I studied with friends for about 2 hours on a Sunday afternoon and it was a calm relaxing place to study. By around 5:30 though, it was hopping! While they are known for their fruit teas, i like their milk tea better. I got an oolong milk tea with pearls and it was a ok. It's milky enough and the tea comes through ok but nothing special.
