I called that morning to confirm and did not hear back. They then no-call, no-showed and haven't yet followed up afterwards (2 weeks ago). It was pretty disappointing for our kids and guests. Maybe it was just an oversight as they were very friendly on the phone and we were slightly off season.

He developed social skills, athletic skills like balance and coordination, and tons of self confidence. Andy Still is the owner and runs the camp. Andy is a great leader and teacher on top of being a daring and skilled wake boarder. He makes sure the environment at the lake house is wholesome despite being filled with teenagers. Another bonus is that my picky eater was exposed to a lot of new foods and developed a liking for them. I was shocked when my son won the most improved award and got an Oculus Go!! That is the absolute best prize he's ever gotten. I'm so proud that I found this camp despite them doing little advertising. JD came back looking tan with new little muscles on his arms. I was initially afraid about him getting hurt doing so much high speed activity on the lake but now I think he was safer there than just about anywhere else. Wake Lanier earns 5++ stars!!

It also has Spanish, art and many other future activities that our little can enjoy at each milestone. The staff turnover is very little, security good, you get updates on scheduling and pics sent throughout the day in the portal. Drop off is very easy and the staff are so caring and friendly. worst daycare the don't sanitize , my toddler caught with…read moretoo many sickness once he started this facility. the front desk people has no concern or respect towards parents . they look down on us. i see all the kids in my sons class room with runny nose , the Teachers don't clean it, kids wipe it all over their clothes and face, they touch and wipe it on toys (easy way to spread the germs) . that class room always has foul smell in it, I doubt that they sanitize the classroom and toys . my son had sickness with high fever and cold wheezing all the time. We went to pediatrician more than 4 times every month when he was there. As a conclusion, it's like paying to get sickness and meeting disrespectfu/ignoring people. i blame myself to choose this facility. The teachers actually care about the kids, they care about their wellbeing, they care about them being on time so they don't miss any lessons. The staff always greet me with a smile, the owner is always polite. My daughter seems to be more independent since she's been going to Kiddie Academy and for the first time my daughter actually wants to go to school. Its like her home away from home. The majority of the staff are attentive, loving, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the children. While there has been some teacher turnover, this seems to be a widespread challenge across industries right now, especially in daycare. That said, many of the staff members have been at this Goddard location for several years, which speaks volumes about the positive environment they've cultivated. I've been impressed with how much my daughter has learned during her time here. By the time she was just 15 months old, she could recite her ABCs and count to 20! She even asks to go to school on weekends, which is such a comforting sign of how much she enjoys it. The facility is very clean, and the office staff is incredibly organized and excellent with communication. As someone who is picky and very particular about schools for my children, I feel confident recommending this Goddard location. Leaving your child in someone else's care is never easy, but this team makes it much more reassuring.

I don't know what's happened since May of 2015, but we will never allow our son to go back to this day care facility. Our son was four years old, had a speech latency, and on the tail end of potty training when he began going to the after school care program at this Discovery Point. All of his clothing, extra shoes, extra pull ups, and baby wipes were lost every single time he had an accident. We couldn't understand why he'd come home covered in dirt and mud, and have accidents every day. His demeanor had changed completely, and instead of being excited about school the next day he actually seemed sad, which is not like him. After questioning the staff on several occasions we realized that they weren't encouraging him to use the bathroom when he got off the bus after school, and they were keeping all of his belongings either under the front desk, or in the back of a closet where the teachers couldn't find them. After arriving one day early to pick him up I found him playing in the dirt on the playground while the other children played nearby on the play equipment. I asked him why he wasn't playing with the other children and didn't have to wait long before the other children informed me that he is not allowed to play on the playground, so they'd push him away. The teacher watching this group of 5 years and up confirmed this, had instructed the children to keep him off the equipment, and informed my husband and I that the teacher with the four year old class was over capacity so he was placed with the older children. My four year old son has a speech latency, and could not verbalize what he liked or disliked, let alone verbally defend himself, or tell us what was happening. We removed him after three months; in November and have yet to find any of the clothing or other supplies that we provided for him when we originally registered him. I have never seen Any Discovery Point run like this. We definitely noticed turn over in that three month period. I truly hope that no other child has to go through what our son did.

Can you imagine the face of your kid sitting alone in a corner while the other kids are eating an ice cream....sounds to me bullying right ?? Nobody was able to give us a professional answer, that is when you can see they just care for the money but not for the kids.
