They took initiative to make videos and zoom calls to read stories with the kids throughout the shut down and even made "back to school" videos to acclimate the little ones to teachers who would be wearing masks. In school, they have done so many activities and encourage family interactions. They host Muffins with Mom and Donuts with Dad for mothers/father's day; hosted Pre K graduations after hours to celebrate all the graduates; encourage Trunk or Treats (now decorated tables in the yard instead of cars which makes more sense for safety) for Halloween; make special Christmas crafts for purchase to use as gifts. The list goes on. The curriculum is very good. My older daughter was over prepared for kindergarten. She was taught all Kindergarten basics in the Pre K class and did very well academically (she still does well). My preschooler only left to go to the district free preschool, otherwise we would still be there. She too was well educated, taught to write her name at 3 as well as spell her name. She can even spell her friends names (both first and last!) The cost is consistent with all the other private preschools in the area except that the camera access is included with tuition. I know other friends that pay extra fees for the camera/app access. The app was accurate and consistently used which allowed open communication between staff and families. I would definitely recommend Childtime Flemington to any families looking for a private daycare/preschool!

Safety was the first priority, but so was enrichment, A setting where she would be challenged, and would continue to grow academically and socially. I wanted her to be engaged and challenged. TLE provides all that and more. Their child centered curriculum is motivating and fun for kids. Most importantly, it is kid appropriate. It includes technology based but also workbook centered and hands on experiences. They even added a musical component to their curriculum. Everything is taught with fun, relatable characters that continues to each grade level for a thematic approach. Also, this school is spotless. Every time I enter that school, it just smells clean. It is obvious that things are routinely sanitized. In times, like these, cleanliness is key. In each other the 3 rooms my daughter has been in, toys are organized and labeled. Everything has its place. As a bonus, my daughter is taught to always put away toys/activities when she is done playing. Also, the owner, Jo-Ann, the director, Amanda and the assistant director, Christina are just really wonderful people. They are kind, warm and welcoming. They are effective at not only making each family/child feel welcome, but also in running an organized, efficient school. Any and all of my questions are always addressed with patience and real solutions. The teachers there also have greatly influenced my daughter. Two in particular, Ms. Cheyenne and Ms. Olivia, really influenced her. She looked forward to seeing them because they truly took the time to not only make her feel special, but also to provide consistent guidance and educational support. Finally, TLE has a lot of philanthropic endeavors. They raise awareness about both health and social issues that effect our community as well as the world. From food drives, book collections, healthy heart awareness and even holiday gifts for families in need, this school teaches children to give back. This is a very important concept that both myself and my husband teach our daughter about. It is wonderful to have her school do the same. After all, in a world where you can be anything, we should really all be kind. I can not say enough nice things about the school and the actual company Itself. I looked at over 5 different daycares in our area before registering here. I did the random drop inns, asked the important questions and really observed what was going on before selecting a school. My daughter thrived here at first and I loved it. But at the end when she came home every day…read moresaying the teachers were being mean, yelling at, and picking on her, my gut told me she needs to be somewhere else. It started when she came home with diaper rashes so bad I could not touch her to clean her or put her in her bath water on separate occasions. They were told several times she was super sensitive down there and it only takes a second to look. Then it was the call to the Division of Child and Family Services because she had a stain on her shirt and a leaf or two in her hair. Because I missed the memo that playing outside with your child in the morning instead of shoving a screen in their face was wrong. Then it was the push to get her evaluated for every little problem. She is an only child, so she was a little late to talking but once she started, she has not stopped LOL. But there was no need for a speech evaluation and I told them that but I did it anyway because I want to do whatever will help my child grow and thrive. They nearly laughed at the end of the evaluation because it was pretty much a waste of their time, but whatever. Then it was them saying they will help with potty training and telling me every day she wasn't asking or going potty at all. And that her behavior was "out of control" and not listening to them even though on two separate occasions she came home with bite marks from another student. My daughter can be a handful, there is no denying that. Then it was them "removing" her after giving me three weeks to change a 3 year old behavior. She is not somewhere else and OH MY GOD she is miraculously using the potty, listening to the teachers, playing with the other children. It was not my child that needs to be evaluated in this situation, maybe it's their teachers or methods.

The owner is passionate about child development and the curriculum fosters a happy day of learning while maintaining a habitual routine that helps all students. The facility is state of the art and very clean, I don't want to jinx myself but my son has never been sick in the twelve months he has attended. The teachers and administrative staff are on the ball with keeping the center safe and clean.
