The gym advertises "childcare" which is just an unkempt room with no supervision for kids to stay in. Powerhouse corporate needs to do a site visit to see if this gym meets their standards.

The area is dangerous with panhandlers who are aggressive. That area of Flint is getting worse. All in all it's way too expensive for what they offer. Planet Fitness is better customer service so I joined there.

Trust me she will tell you what you are doing wrong but she will never demonstrate or explain what you need to do first. So you will need to look at others in class in the hopes that they know what to do. So your crystal ball should never be out for repair and you definitely will need to be tapped into the psychic network to be able to successfully complete the class. I think they should change it just incase someone is out of town and can't get back to town due to any unforeseen circumstances. At the time I weighed about 225 lbs, and had started my fitness program at home and lost about 10 lbs in 6 months, now I'm less interested in the outward belt promotion, my primary concern is not just getting the black belt which takes much longer then I realized, but to instead live a healthy lifestyle and to continuously improve in every aspect of my life. My relationships are healthier, i have a batch of like minded friends, and I'm happier in every aspect of my life. I presently weight 190 lbs, I've taken more then 15% body fat off, I can run, I weight train, supplemental yoga, I train kettle bells and am stronger now then ever before in my life despite being an accomplished athlete in high-school. My confidence has improved, I've grown in humility, I am less stressed, and I have something to look forward to 4 nights a week and I attend 4-5 practices a week. There is no way to fully express how grateful i am for the oppurtunity to train in this environment, and how much happier I am as a person.
