It has no "bells and whistles," which is what we wanted. Our appliance repairman sent us to Watson's when our fancy digital washer died, telling us to get the simplest washer we could find. This Kenmore had a small scratch on the surface which allowed for a terrific decrease in price. Our gas range is a KitchenAid five burner, two oven model. It also had a scratch on its surface. We got it for less than half the price listed. Watson's delivered both appliances as well as a recliner we bought at the same time as the gas range. No repairs needed yet.

I agreed with his price and we scheduled a day the following for him to begin the work. On the day of the project, his crew ran a bit late as they were working on a gate that required more time than they thought. Nevertheless, they still made it to my home and began the two half days of work. Overall, Roman and his crew did a great job building two separate fences at my home. The first fence was built using redwood from Berco Redwood and was for the side and front of the house to hold the waste containers as well as a small dog run. The second fence he and his team built was smaller and constructed of cedar and used to hide pool equipment and for a bit of modern aesthetic purposes. During the project, there were a couple hiccups while we figured out small details about angles of the fencing and overall length. Roman and his team were respectful and adapted the design to my changes and demands. This was difficult to do as there were already posts installed into the ground. However, he was able to work it out and everything went well. For a small fee, he even fixed my backyard fence that was damaged and wasn't on our quote. I'm very particular about how things should be designed and built and Roman recognized this and was able to build exactly what I was looking for. His crew works hard and has all the right equipment to do the job. There was some jackhammering that needed to happen because of some existing concrete, and his crew took care of that with ease. Roman is a nice guy and wants to ensure the customer is happy. I really appreciate that. Yes, I would hire Roman again to build a fence for me.

When I contacted again, I was told I must be confused on my part, as the careless team that runs heavy machinery through wet yards couldn't have been the same careless team that ran that heavy machinery up against a bolt, splitting the wood and bending it out of place. For this service, you're better off renting machinery from Lowe's and doing the damage yourself. I was told quote "this is an unusually slow time" as there's been a lot of competition from tree companies starting more work from the hurricane that came through. It's sounding like that competition has been the better option for people, and I didn't get that hint.

None of the work on the deck was to code after repeatedly calling and texting with specific photos and videos to Mr. Santiago of all that needed to be done to bring it to code and code compliance written into the signed contract. The deck lacked flashing against the house in multiple places, the stairs were uneven and crooked, the railings were not to code, boards were cut unevenly, etc. Bottom line is we are left with a bigger mess than we started with and now have to completely tear up what was done incorrectly and pay a new builder to redo the deck without any refund from Mr. Santiago. Run from this company.
