Rachel has done such a wonderful job capturing photos for our family. Last fall we did a signature session with a toddler who wasn't feeling great and was not interested in cooperating throughout the session. I booked a maternity shoot with Rachel in October.. They brought the dresses, all I had to do was show up :). My experience with Rachel was great and definitely will use them again. I am totally in love with all my maternity pictures... the location and the sun in morning were perfect and she really has an eye! We worked with Vlad on a maternity shoot at LP South Pond and a lifestyle shoot at our home. Both sessions were AAAAAMAZING!!! Vlad was so genuine and immediately made us feel so comfortable, which is nearly impossible for a pregnant and post delivery mother! We would absolutely recommend Yofi Photography. We booked a Maternity Session for our first pregnancy after browsing for some photographers, looking to use them at a baby shower but also for the memories. We loved the portfolio on Yofi's website, and the style of all the photos. There was a perfect combination of professional and natural-ness to them. Our experience with Vlad during the photo shoot was great! We were at North Avenue beach in May, and the sunset was perfect. We weren't sure what to do, but Vlad really made us feel comfortable and had many good suggestions for solo and couple poses. When we received the photos we couldn't be happier - they came out so beautiful! We had some printed for the baby shower and received lots of compliments on them. We still have these photos framed and up in our house. After the baby was born, we were on the fence about doing another photoshoot with the baby, but after some consideration we decided to do it. Since we loved the maternity pictures so much, we reached out to Yofi again and booked an in-home Lifestyle session. As you might guess with a newborn baby, 5 weeks old, we were severely lacking sleep and the baby was not eating well, had not slept well, and cried a lot the day of thesession. In this situation, Vlad was wonderful! He was patient, and even gave us some time to feed her to calm her down. He also gave several suggestions for poses. At one point during the photo shoot the baby napped and we got some sweet sleeping pictures. When we received the finished photos I was amazed - they all came out so beautiful and it didn't even look like the baby struggled. He even captured so many cute pictures of the baby smiling and looking into the camera. We were more than happy with the photos, we loved loved loved every single one of them!! We made some collages to share with our family and also a little canvas print for my office at work. We just had another family photo session with Vlad and this one was just as much fun as our first. I am thoroughly convinced that Vlad is a kid-whisperer. Our now-5-year-old is not too keen on interacting with most adults but within 5 minutes of hanging out with him, our girl was having such a good time that she forgot we were even there. We recently had a newborn lifestyle session with Yofi Photography and Vlad exceeded all of our expectations! From the beginning, Vlad was very punctual in his responses to me, and answered any questions I had along the way. On the day of our session, I was running late because I was getting my hair done and my lady forgot to show up at the salon. My husband called Vlad and asked if we could push our session back by an hour. Not only did Vlad have no problem doing that, he even asked if we needed more time than that and could do whatever we needed. As a new mom (who was still trying to figure everything out) I really appreciated how flexible he was! Instead of having to rush home after my hair appointment, I had more than enough time to change, do my makeup, feed my daughter, etc. all because of Vlad's flexibility! We have a 4 year old french bulldog who loved being on camera as well and Vlad captured some great shots of him! We were so incredibly happy with our experience with Vlad. I had wanted outdoor fall family photos for a long time, and I spent a lot of time researching the best local photographer.
