I booked a class this past Wednesday through MINDBODY. Within minutes, I learned that there was a traffic delay in the route to get there. I canceled immediately and have not seen my processed refund. I have called, emailed, and texted the business, by I have not received any word. I have to say I really liked this yoga studio and absolutely loved the yoga instructor Charlene. A while back in the midst of covid yelp would have questions up for establishments asking if they practice social distancing, covid protocols, stuff like that. Well I answered one of the questions and said no they don't follow social distancing or something like that b/c they didn't. I had been to other yoga studios in the area and they cut their class sizes in half to help distance people but yoga by blosstopia did not. Well I guess the owner, Lana, didn't like my response because she found my info in their database, since I attended classes there, and called me to discuss my "review" which wasn't even a review. It was just simply an answer to a question. I was very cautious during that time b/c I worked with people who were higher risk and couldn't afford to get covid myself so I always wore a mask when I was there which was fine. I don't expect other people to mask but it would have been nice if we weren't packed in there like sardines. (Side note - the floors are not padded at all, it's just concrete with peel and stick vinyl planks laid down so be sure to bring two yoga mats b/c it's hard on the knees.) She did ask if I'd like to zoom into the class if I wasn't comfortable and I told her that I was fine wearing a mask in class. I just thought it was important for people to know what they would be walking into before spending the money. She seemed very defensive and almost pissed that I told people the truth. I think the studio has changed owners since then and I hope to go back and see if things have changed for the better. read more

I know there are people who enjoy going to Yoga by Blistopia, but I am not one of them. Today I was finally, after a few months trying, able to talk to someone who works there about my sessions on my account. Her name is Lana. I bought 10 of them on Group when they opened and I have only been able to use 3 of them. First of all I didn't not realize that they expire once you activate them on your account. Secondly, I have a herniation on my Lumbar Spine and I cannot move like how I used to move. I am on limited lifting and hours at work, and I cannot workout like I used to either. I was busy with physical therapy, visiting the doctor, and talking with spinal surgeons. When I went in to talk to Lana, she told me they do expire. She kept talking about how expensive it is to run that business and how she only made a dollar off the Groupon. She also kept talking about not allowing hostile people or situations in her space. I did not come in hostile; I came in grateful for finally catching someone to talk to about my sessions that should be in my account. I also did not know you can text to talk to someone, but I did drive by many times and call a couple times with no success until today. In the end, after her putting guilt into the air about her limit of profits, and big expenses for the business, I told her I will just let her keep the 7 sessions that she only wanted to extend until May. The reason was because I no longer felt welcome there. I do not want to go back there ever again. The conversation was unprofessional. I no longer have good feelings being in that business and space anymore. I wish others better luck. I hope things go well for her business because Yoga is such a great way to be active. read more

I've been coming here for quite some time and I am so grateful for this studio. It has kept me sane during Rona and chiropractic school. Lana, the owner, is amazing she puts so much heart and thought into making sure everyone feels welcomed. She understands that the body is the best line of defense and protection as long as you are nourishing and taking care of it. There are classes for everyone. Charlene's are fun and upbeat, Lana's are always so meaningful and help you to grow and expand mentally and in your practice. Lisa's voice is so soothing, and her classes are so perfect for that perfect stretch, release and unwinding. Marissa, I just love that girl, she is so sweet, and you can really tell she puts so much into our sequences. I wish she had more variation in times that she offers classes, but am so grateful when I can make it to one of them. I have been to other yoga studios and nothing compares to here. read more

I am so excited that Blaine has a yoga studio again and hot yoga too. Consistency on practicing yoga has allowed me to be more flexible. A few weeks ago, I remember the first class I was having a hard time getting my finger tips to the floor in a standing forward bend. The studio has a wide variety of classes and times. The wonderful instructors make you feel welcome. There is something for everyone. I found my home studio after 2 years of searching.
