The only thing I work they offered was some leave in conditioner treatment for us gals who have longer hair, because your hair will be tangled! Even though they offer conditioner and combs... the combs are flimsy and really didn't help to untangle anything. My other observation is that the owner or manager (I didn't catch his name) was quite unprofessional, in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, he seemed nice enough, but his sales approach was pushy, and quite honestly, off putting. It was not personable whatsoever. He went through their holiday promotions so fast that every person I observed that he helped were confused and signed up for memberships that they were clearly confused on. After he left, the one lady even mentioned to Alyssa that she wasn't quite sure what she had signed up for. As someone who has worked in corporate sales for over 20+ years I can tell you he was selling just to make a sale which is sad because the memberships hould be marketed as an experience- that's where the added value comes in and will prompt people to buy a larger membership and retain that membership for a longer period of time. Other than the pushy sales approach my experience was good. As someone who has a chronic pain condition and practices several holistic and alternative measures to help offset flareups, I can see how it would help others to relax and rejuvenate.

Yoga has this…read moreamazing ability to strengthen while relaxing the body, and adding the extra heat makes it that much better. Hot Yoga with Joe is not Bikram yoga, and thank god it's not! In my humble opinion, the strict nature of the Bikram style hinders the very ideals of yoga. At Hot Yoga with Joe it's more of a moving meditation where you are encouraged to be relaxed and do what feels right for your body. After all, you know it best - so you'll naturally push yourself when you feel like it's right - you probably don't need someone publicly forcing you. If it's your first time (or even your hundredth time), and you get too hot - that's cool (ou, a play on words!), just take a big gulp of water that you brought into class with you, and start back up when you're ready. Keep calm and carry on. This place is great for beginners through experts. Everyone is very welcoming, and at your very first class the instructors (Joe or Jessi) will explain everything that will go on. You'll be in the back row so you can watch others and not feel any pressure. I'm pretty sure they let you rent a mat and water for free the first class as well. All in all, there aren't very many places I give a full 5-stars too, but this is definitely one of them! There is no intimidation or judging, it's a welcoming environment, and it's a refreshing step into a healthier lifestyle. Do it to it!

Jess makes sure all levels feel welcome and included. I find practicing in the studio benefits me the most but there are many live video options available. My favorite was the Reiki, but also enjoyed trying fresh squeezed juice from a local shop. Jessica is always thinking of new, fun things.
