Yogi is an extremely professional henna artist. She came on time and brought all the necessary equipment needed to get the job done including a small heated in case I got cold(as one tends to get due to the cooling nature of henna). She also brought along her own little table and a pillow to rest my hands on. She was extremely accommodative to my design requests. TIP: do your design research before your appointment and send her the designs well in advance. This helps her practise the designs before your appointment to guarantee better results. I got henna done on my hand at the Rock Wall Winery Amore event, and she was quick and I enjoyed it. She didn't really explain what to do, what to expect, and how to make it last longer, like other reviewers have said, but I definitely understand, since there was a line, and she was churning them out. In the future, if you're reading this Yogita, (hey girl, hi!) when you do large events, you should get little business cards with your name and business info on front and "fyi/after care instructions" on the back. After each customer, just hand them a card. It'll increase your business (because word of mouth) and save you the time of having to explain. Yogi is AMAZING!! I am so thankful she was available and agreed to be a part of my daughter's graduation reception. She is very professional, dealing with her over email to set up the appointment was very easy! The day of the event, she arrived, asked for nothing but a table. We set her up and for the next two hours created design after design without any breaks and never once complained or became frustrated with the sometimes annoying guests. I would come by and ask if she needed anything, she would look up for a quick sec, smile and say "no, thank you" then get back to making all of my guests feel special. There was never a long wait because she creates these great designs in almost no time at all. She even painted a tribal design on my older (almost 50) brother's face. It was super cool! At the end of the event, as she was packing up, I stopped by to see if I could help her clean up. She insisted that I sit down so that she can do one quick henna design for me. I'm so happy I was able to find Yogi at the last minute. Not only is she the nicest mendhi lady I have ever been in contact with but she is truly the BEST at what she does! Her designs are one of a kind and range from being trendy/modern to very traditional making her very versatile! Her mendhi comes out so dark! My mendhi on the Palms of my hands always come out a deep maroonish red and the back of my hand always turns out to be a very light brown... But yogi's mendhi came out so dark on the back of my hands and not only that, I got my mendhi put on last week Wednesday... It's been almost a week and it is still super dark!!! She did bridal mendhi for my sister in law and came back the next day for the mendhi night! I had booked Yogi to come and do the bride's henna and we originally had opted out in having someone come the next day to do mendhi for our guests but my aunt and changed her mind the day before and we contacted yogi to see if she would be available at the last minute. It was very last minute, but after having explained the situation and how truly special this Sweet 16 Birthday was, she was extremely gracious and agreed to do the party (even after having worked another party 50 miles away)!
