We ordered a peace Lilly for my mother-in-law funeral. It was to be delivered to the viewing the night before the funeral. Total came to just over $100. When we got to the viewing turned out, it was a little bitty plant. We could've picked one up at Save Mart for 15 or $20. We were very disappointed and embarrassed in the size for what we had paid for it. Also, it was not placed in any sort of basket or a bow or cellophane wrap. It was in a 6 inch plastic pot When contacting Yonans floral the next day the clerk was super rude and offered no resolution. So if you're thinking of using them, probably better just to swing by Save Mart and pick up a plant yourself. I will not deal with them again. read more

On May 18, 2026 I walked into Yonan's Floral in Turlock to purchase a Peace Lily for a family funeral, requesting same day delivery to the viewing at a local chapel. She charged me $79.95 plus tax, plus delivery for just over $100. The picture you see below is what they sent. My family was very disappointed and embarrassed by the small size of the plant and the tacky plastic container it was in. The container was not even wrapped in a decorative foil nor placed in a basket or something more tasteful for the event. After doing some research and visiting other local florists, in person, I discerned that this plant should have been around $45 plus tax and delivery, and I was assured that it would have been placed in a nicer container. I revisited the business, spoke with the same lady that took my order and the details of my visit shall remain undisclosed, but did not go well. Needless to say, I will never do business with them again. The plant was small for the price and the container it was in was a tacky orange 6" container like you would buy a plant in from your local gardener. Thank you. read more

They have the worst customer service! I ordered a bouquet online and called the store to ensure that it will be delivered the same day. I was notified through my recipient that they have not received anything. I called Yonan's Floral and the lady chose to fight me instead of double checking with the delivery person. She decided to hang up the phone in my face while I was talking. I spoke respectfully to her yet she chose to give me attitude and make me upset. I called back again and she said that the delivery person just told her that he hasn't delivered yet and he's heading there now. This is the second time they are messing up my order. I started working with Ailin about eight months before the big day to plan the bridal party flowers as well as the floral arrangements on the tables for our wedding for about 275 people. Although super busy, Ailin always made the time to meet with me to go over all those crazy details. A family emergency had us move up the actual wedding date three weeks at the last minute to be attended by about 50 people, in addition to keeping the original date for our reception as originally planned. Ailin and her team didn't miss a beat, and provided a mini-version of the bridal party flowers for the actual wedding, with less than a week's notice. When we realized we had short-counted two boutonnieres, they rapidly made them for us and we picked them up on the way to the church! The flowers for the wedding reception were stunning and just as I envisioned. They were delivered on time and were just perfect! Soo I'm planning my wedding.. and I have no idea what I'm doing. I looked into DIY flowers and bouquets, and I'm pretty crafty.. but I'm not THAT crafty. I found yonans through Facebook, and spoke with sandy about the different things I want for me and my girls.. and let me just tell you. She is the sweetest thing. So I make an appointment to go in and chat with her about everything.. and she GOT ME. It was so incredibly relieving to talk with her and Tina, the owner. They where so welcoming and had some really awesome advice. We sat there and chatted about my crazy wedding for almost an hour. I recently got married and was completely disappointed with the bouquets and garlands I requested. First, she used cheaper flowers (gerberras) than what I paid for (dahlias, orchids, etc.) Second. she completely skimped on the garlands and they looked empty and bare. My review is for Aileen as the day of coordinator for our wedding. From the beginning, Aileen always found a way to make herself available to speak or meet whenever I had a question or concern. Her knowledge in wedding etiquette, especially Assyrian wedding etiquette, was extremely helpful in help guiding what is/isnt typically custom for the day. She created timelines for each of the vendors and communicated with them. To the time leading up to the wedding I had so much trust in her, that on the day of I worried about nothing! She and her assistant took care of all the little details that could easily be forgotten. The result was a very smooth wedding of 650 people, with myself and family relaxed. I went into the floral gift shop and as I looked around, the one staff worker was on the phone discussing an order. I found 3 purses I wanted to purchase as Christmas gifts. None had price tags. Unfortunately my experience wasn't like others I see here on Yelp. Today is my Wife's bday and I decided to buy a special arrangement for her and I Yelped local flowers shops and came across this one. I looked on their website and liked one that saw on their site. When I request the one I liked they did not have it. So then I start going through their book and see another one I liked for my budget. I mention that it's for my wife's bday and she said she can put more roses. So I'm like ok. Long story short, my flowers look nothing like what they advertise and she charged me $20 dollars extra for a vase she suggested and "extra" flowers that she supposedly added which I didn't see anymore roses than what the picture displays. Some roses and flowers were already getting brown and didn't look fresh. Moral of the point is that they falsely advertise their flowers and don't advice you that price will vary for making suggestions or "adding". When I questioned them about it they made me feel dumb and it's hard to express yourself your point when there's a language barrier and then they keep saying that arrangements don't look like pictures THEN why have a book if they're not gonna look like it? The book looked like they bought it off the rack. They should just create their own book and go off that instead of trying to recreate something they can't do. Flowers at Costco are fresher and better looking. I was embarrassed taking them to my wife. I also bought a molar balloon that I paid $5 for for them to only inflate it half way. My wife literally noticed as soon as I have it to her that the balloon wasn't full of helium. By the end of the day the balloon was on the floor and that says a lot because milar balloons will last months. Not this one. NEVER COMING AGAIN. read more

I do not recommend Working with Ailin and her partners for your wedding unless you are Assyrian. She does a wonderful job and will do her best to bring you the best flowers, if she knows you. 1st off From the beginning she was lazy and didn't set up a mock table prior to my wedding. 2nd off, during my ceremony her staff forgot the church flowers and for my reception I rented floating candles for my centerpieces and they forgot to set that up! After the wedding I emailed her to be compensated and all she said was, " your wedding is over, what do you want me to do?" Rude!!!! She ended up giving me a $20 (woopie) gift card to her shop which lets be honest why would I want to go back buy something after I had a horrible experience, plus everything is cheaply looking anyways.
