At $9-10 each why not! Blueberry Lemon Drop was good, but the Watermelon was my favorite. We also tried the caramel apple and it was good too. For dinner I got the pork tenderloin sandwich with onion rings. Both were delicious and the server said all were made in house. What I loved about the onion rings was the super thick and crunchy beer batter. We also got some sort or chicken bowl that was a lot of food. Came with chips. That's not my particular thing but the person who ordered it loved it. They make all their own dressings and believe me when I tell you the spicy ranch is spicy. I loaded my onion ring up with that ranch and I thought I was going to pass out it was so hot. I still ate it just not as much at one of time. They have plenty of seating at the bar or tables inside and a few outside tables by the street where we saw people take advantage of the nice weather and brought their dogs. They have a small stage where they have live performances, I think someone was coming last night we were just there too early. They have pull tabs for those who are gamblers. The place was really clean and staff were friendly yet busy. Parking can be tricky so be prepared to walk some during peak times.

We were lucky to catch some live music too! They have a great been selection and incredible cocktails too. My favorite is the Spicy Jalapeño Mule!! I also highly recommend the Loaded Waffle Fries and the Asian Zing wings!! Delicious! Our server was really sweet and great too! Good times!

We really love this venue. A positive: it is so close to…read moreseveral hotels. It is an easy 1 mile walk vs drive situation. The negative: unless it is a sold-out show, the back entrance is rarely open so you have to walk all of the way around the amphitheater. This is super inconvenient given the number of people who walk from their hotel. The positive: you can take in an unopened water bottle or an empty tumbler for water (IN summer can be brutal heat & humidity) The negative: there are only two refill stations throughout the venue. On hot days where attendance is high, you can find yourself waiting in line to refill water for 25-30 minutes.

Apparently, as of this writing, Ruoff now charges $10 to rent a lawn chair. I had lawn seats, and I…read moredidn't want to give these cats any more of my bread than I need to, so I thought I'd thug it out with a blanket. It was the right decision! Sitting on the lawn ain't bad. In fact, sitting on a blanket was preferable for me because it allowed me to do some stretching while I listened to the ebullient sounds of an all-female Japanese kawaii metal band. Speaking of sounds: The sound at this outdoor music venue is great. I feel like there isn't a bad seat in the house, even if you have lawn seats. The lawn is sloped, with the stage being at the bottom of the hill, so you have a great view no matter where you're sitting. Plus, there are big TVs showing you what's happening on stage, so you can really see everything. I got dropped off and picked up, which was another good decision. Drop off is a breeze, as there's a designated rideshare spot at Gate 2A just north of Boden and 146th Street. Pick up was also a breeze: Just tell your driver to get there a little bit before the show is supposed to end. Another good thing: There are lots of restrooms! And the restrooms are clean. There are also water bottle refilling stations, which is nice. It's nice that they're not charging for water, if you have a water bottle to refill. Where they getcha is with the alcohol, but that's true for any venue. Still, I grimaced when I had to pay $22 for a pint of Bell's Two Hearted IPA. That didn't stop me from buying two of them, but still. I wasn't happy, dang it! For the most part, I enjoyed my experience at Ruoff Music Center. Some things to keep in mind: It took us about half an hour to get in after being dropped off. If you don't have a bag for them to check, you will get through faster. You can bring bug spray, just don't bring aerosol bug spray, because they will take it away from you. (People are dumb and ruin things for others.) You can bring in outside snacks, as long as they are contained to one gallon-sized bag per person. Bring your patience -- everyone seems like they're doing the best that they can here.

They played a good mix of classic and modern music that we all appreciated, and it felt like they tailored their set lists to our group incredibly well. I also have nothing but good things to say about working with them in getting the gigs scheduled. They have always been quick to respond, easy to work with, and inspired plenty of confidence leading up to a show. Highly recommend these guys - they rock!

RougHouse absolutely CRUSHED it at the 2024 Irvington Halloween Ball!…read moreFrom the moment they kicked off their set, the energy was electric, and the crowd was hooked. Their mix of classic rock anthems (and a couple Halloween-themed surprises for the crowd) had everyone dancing and singing along ALL NIGHT LONG! The vocals were powerful, the guitar work was insane, and the rhythm section kept things tight and driving all night. These guys know how to command a room and deliver an engaging performance! Beyond their incredible talent and stage presence, what really stood out was their professionalism. The band showed up early, fully prepared, and worked seamlessly with the event organizers. Setup, soundcheck, and coordination were smooth as could be--they're clearly seasoned pros who know how to handle a big event. For the level of talent and performance they delivered, Roughouse is more than fairly priced. They brought the atmosphere, the energy, and a concert-quality sound! Worth every single penny--and then some. It wasn't just a show--it was a full-blown experience. The themed outfits, the stage presence, the seamless crowd interaction--it all added up to be one of the most memorable and fun Irvington Halloween Balls. If you want a band for a wedding, a corporate event, a Halloween Festival , or anything in between. Look no further!!!! RougHouse brings top-tier musicianship, a professional and hassle-free experience, with tons of fun and energy....5 stars! No question!
