Ed Mclaughlin is a criminal and I don't know how he manages to still have a business. My wife and I purchased a home in November 2023, with the understanding ,which was agreed to and signed on the contract that an electrical issue with the house we were buying was to be fixed by a licensed electrician. A month after closing when I had a contractor in to remodel, we came to find out the problem was not fixed just hidden and actually deemed more unsafe then was before. Also, come to find out that the so called electrician he uses is a "handyman" that is not licensed or insured. Live wires were left dangling hidden under drop ceiling where my three small children sleep. I then reached out to this so called real estate agent and of course he states its our problem now nothing more he can do and I'm left with a massive invoice for an electrician to make my house safe for my three small children. I would be very cautious when buying or renting houses with this companies name attached to it. They perform work on their properties that is not up to standard codes or even done by licensed professionals, just to be able to make a sale or rent the property. Take my advice, if your looking at a property they have think twice, I would hate to see this happen to anyone else.

We NEVER missed a timely payment, NEVER had a problem with any other tenants. Our only problems were with the declining tenant services and treatment, which began about 2 years after we moved in. When we rented, there was a full-time manager, an assistant manager, a leasing agent and two full time maintenance people on staff. We probably should have moved out anyway when staffing became ONE woman who was hardly EVER in the clubhouse office because she was also responsible for leasing AND supervising the ONE remaining maintenance person. We loved our apartment but did NOT love the terrible neglect all tenants experienced after the January 2026 snowstorm. Both my partner and I are mobility challenged and pretty much stayed indoors for the first 3 days or so after the storm - but had doctor appointments thereafter and faced REALLY difficult conditions. 1. The remaining manager didn't bother having the area around the mailbox shoveled at all. 2. Handicap spaces were only partially plowed. 3. NONE of the sidewalks AROUND the complex were touched by a shovel - management of Eden Square just waited for the snow to melt. (This was in defiance of township maintenance codes.) 4. One of our neighbors bought a snow shovel, finished shoveling the snow in the handicap spaces at our building AND removed the pile of snow the plow had left in front of our GARAGE. There is more - like the fact we noticed after a couple of years that the "facing" on pillars in front of some of the buildings was being held on by large white ZIP TIES. The Clubhouse was basically useless because it was ONLY available for use when a manager was present and that was RARE - but you get the idea. Our current clubhouse is available 24 hours a day, space can be rented for private parties at night and there are pool tables and golf practice rooms also available 24/7) for example at a very competitive monthly rental. Eden Square is supposedly managed by AJH Management - which has an F RATING at the better business bureau and is based in Lakewood NJ. The owner of the complex (and perhaps 20-30 others in the Atlantic region is someone named Asher Handler. This complex is truly CAVEAT EMPTOR. They did us a VERY INCONVENIENT favor by telling us to leave.

The gym disgusting and they permanently locked the windows so you can't get fresh air in there. Dog poop litters the property because no one enforces a thing. The pool area well... broken chairs from a decade ago--and yet management will throw loud, ratchet parties for themselves with the new property manager Robbi passed out when her hooligan friends destroy and disrespect the property. If you did that? $500 fine, no questions asked. The hypocrisy is laughable. They don't fix anything, ignore complaints, retaliate when you speak up, and then slap you with outrageous rent hikes at renewal time--as if living here is some kind of luxury. Spoiler: it's not. If Shay is involved and don't like you she'll find a way to push you out. Robbi the new property manager is just not the brightest bulb on the tree and has to go to her bff Shay for everything. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being overcharged, ignored, and disrespected.

Every once in a while we'll look at other apartments…read morearound the strip or downtown area, and this is what we find: The other complexes in the Strip District like The Yards at Three Crossings and Edge 1909 have more amenities, such as a bigger pool and grill area, but they are more expensive for even a smaller apartment. Honestly, you are going to spend more time in your apartment than in the pool, so give me a bigger apartment then. The comparable apartments in downtown, (such as River Vue) are more expensive and not as nice (cheap appliances), because you are paying to live downtown. Anything significantly less expensive and you are crossing a bridge and fighting traffic every morning. Lot 24 is a non-smoking building. We've had some obnoxious neighbors in the past smoking on their balconies which they are not supposed to do, and the occasional frat-party, but it has been rare. The building is pretty quiet most of the time. It's very pet friendly. There's even a big grassy area across the street for your dog to go, complete with cleanup stations. There's a decent gym that you get free access to, and covered parking at an extra charge (worth it). Overall no complaints!

It can be overwhelming if you are looking for a place! Upon my move to Pittsburgh in 2015 I found myself falling head-over-heels in love with the Strip District. After living on the North Shore for a year, I knew a move was soon underway. There was no other neighborhood that captured my attention as much as the Strip did. When I learned about the abundant housing options scattered along the far end of Penn Avenue, I started searching for my perfect landing pad. Here is what I learned along the way: choosing to live in Lot 24 goes much farther than choosing an apartment because of its' cost and availability. For me, living in Lot 24 means choosing to live in a place that perfectly accentuates my lifestyle and personality: a young professional who enjoys accessibility to the outdoors and the convince of downtown at the same time, while embracing the charm and history of a unique neighborhood. Lot 24 offers a comfortable lifestyle without pushing you too far out of your comfort zone. While our properly manager is more than helpful, maintenance is on point, the doormen become your friends, and the grounds are spotless, the time you spend living at Lot 24 is what you make of it. The most appealing aspect of Lot 24 to me is the location. Situated on Railroad Street, the small complex is hugged by Penn Avenue on one side and the Allegheny River on the other. Walk down the street and enjoy life by the water. Or, turn a corner and bask in the rush of the Strip as produce is sold, coffee is roasted, giant sandwiches are made, and as history is preserved in one of the Steel City's most iconic neighborhoods. Some of my favorite features at Lot 24 include our small but cozy balcony, modern appliances, an exclusive gym next door and, a gorgeous community room and courtyard. Take a walk down Railroad Street and it will feel as though you are stepping through a cleaned up version of industrial Pittsburgh. A railroad track winds its way though the pavement, a stagnant black train stands still a little ways down, and every Sunday you will hear the whistle of a running engine as it travels through Pittsburgh carrying who-knows-what. Walk a mile in the other direction and find yourself in downtown Pittsburgh where the bar and restaurant scene is striving. Beyond that, the apartment sits on a common bus line and is close to other neighborhoods including hip Lawrenceville, the historic North Side, quirky Polish Hill, and more. The community here is strong and full of young professionals starting careers, folks starting families, and older folks winding down. Dogs running down the hall, babies being pushed in strollers, back-yard style grill outs, and happy hour events are common sightings at Lot 24. There is a lot to embrace and Lot 24 provides the perfect environment to enjoy all that Pittsburgh has to offer. When I wake up in the morning and take that first look out my window, I see more than a living place. I see an investment in a neighborhood that has come a long way. I see an opportunity to support small-business owners who are doing what they love. I see the skyline of a city that has given so much back to its natives and transplants alike and I am reminded that while I could live anywhere, I choose to live in Pittsburgh on purpose. Xoxo, A

Misse the lease manager left several…read moreyears ago, because I think she saw what was going to happen, Maddie took over and did a decent job of pleasing the renters, etc. This passed year since Maddie left has been total chaos. They advertise amenities. Two pools. There is now one small one, that if you didn't get a pool pass right away, you can't go to the pool. false advertising? Then they had a trash compactor, its gone, and have these three huge dumpsters. Let me tell you. If you have a issue with your arm at any age, or if you are short like myself, you will not be able to swing a bag of garbage up to the top of the dumpster. Now I'm suppose to renew my lease. Alway got a letter in the mail for renewal. Have gotten nothing. Now I have to go to the club house and find out how to find my renewal form. You call the main number, and you can't get anyone because the voicemail is full. Maintenance is another issue. No one will come. Just to let you know. Staff means well and tries hard, but the complex is falling apart. Was told the main pool had a…read morelead and was recently closed. It has been closed for years with no plan to reopen. The home theater room in the clubhouse does not have working equipment meaning it is just a room that nobody can use unless you want to sit and stare at a wall. The gated community seldom has gates that close. The miles of walking paths are missing many of the lamp poles and about a third of the lamp poles that are left standing have burned out lamps plunging the community into darkness. There is def nothing "resort style" about the complex.
